OBJECTIVEUse propensity score methods to explore the effect of Shenqi Fuzheng injection (SQFZ) on ALT and AST lever of real worlds.
METHODHIS data from 18 hospitals was analyzed. Patients ranging from 18 to 80 years, it were divided into the cases group was used Shenqi Fuzheng injection > 21 days under the instruction, and control group used SQFZ ≤ 21 days. A large number of confounding biases are taken into account through the generalized boosted models (GBM) and multiple logistic regression model to estimate the treatment effects of SQFZ on abnormal changes in ALT and AST index and to explore possible influencing factors.
RESULTSventy and one confounding factors had been counterpoised, stratified analysis showed that the abnormal changes of cases group lower than control group, but not statistically significant.
CONCLUSIONAnalysis of HIS database showed that significant effects of SQFZ on abnormal changes in ALT and AST have not been found. The results of this study form the retrospective data, for the purpose of validating its clinical safety should be have a prospective clinical study of large sample.

To know the characteristics of Shuxuening injection used on cerebral infarction patients in clinical practice, 6 053 cases of Hospital information system (HIS) data from 20 hospitals were analyzed. Using the basic description method and association rules to analysis the data. By analysis the data we found that the average age of cerebral infarction patients who used Shuxuening injection is 67.96, 83.94% of patients were aged 46-80. The injection is administered intravenously, with most patients receiving a dosage of 15-20 mL per dose for between 1 and 14 days. It is always combined with aspirin (48.508%), cinepazide maleate injection (22.073%), atorvastatin calcium tablets (18.873%) in clinical practice. When it comes to two drug combinations, it always combined with cinepazide maleate injection and aspirin (8.178%), nicergoline capsules and aspirin (7.63%). Therefore, based on existing data, we give the conclusion that for the treatment of cerebral infarction Shuxuening injection is mainly used for older patients, and is often combination with similar pharmacological effects chemical drugs, which is complied with the guidelines. However, the wrong dose is still exist, doctors should realize the hiding risk.

Microbiology 1992;0(04):-
Three osmotolerant yeasts were isolated from three batches of "swollen can" soy sauce produced by a Guangdong condiment plant. These strains grew faster in the media containing 50%~60% glucose or 15% NaCl than in common yeast media. The three yeasts were identified as Pichia etchellsii by using morphological characteristics, physiological and biochemical tests.

A system analysis about the microbial flora of normal and abnormal soybean sauce liquor from the high-salt-level watery state fermentation was made and the dominant bacteria and yeasts were identified. On the other hand,a discussion of effect of temperature on microbial flora was made. The results indicated that there were no obvious differences about the count of aerobe,spore-producing bacteria, enterobacteriaceae, lactic acid bacteria and anaerobe between the normal and abnormal soybean sauce liquor and there were marked differences about the count of yeasts and salt-tolerant bacteria. The predominant yeasts in normal soybean sauce were Torulopsis and Saccharomyces, accounting for 55.9% and 35.3% of the total yeasts separately, and in abnormal soybean sauce were Pichia, candida and Saccharomyces, accounting for 62.8%,17.9% and 9.0% respectively.

These years with industrial antiseptics and disinfectants widely used, especially unscientifically used, the resistance of microorganisms is more and more serious, which brought much more difficulties to industrial producing. The developments on the resistance of microorganisms to industrial antiseptics and disinfectants, their resistant mechanisms and the control strategies are reviewed, which aids us to reasonably use industrial organic antiseptics and disinfectants in existence and provides academic and scientific basis.

Objective To observe the influence of long-term treatment with inhaled corticosteroid on biochemical bone indexes and bone mineral density (BMD) in children with asthma. Methods The design was a randomized, paralleled group study with 3 low dose regiments of 100, 200,300 micrograms of budesonide per day in 45 children with asthma aged 5-8 years old for 12 months. Before inhaled corticosteroid therapy and 6th,12th month, clinical effects were observed and lung function(FEV1) was measured; concentration of serum osteocalcin(OST),insulin-like growth factor-1(IGF-1),bony alkaline phosphatase (BALP) and urinary deoxypyridinolin: creatinine (DPD/Cr) were measured; BMD was examined by dual energy X-ray absorptiometry. Results Clinical evaluation was improved and there was significant increase in FEV1 of asthmatic children. The amount of serum OST was slightly higher, yet no significant compared with that of normal control group. There was significant increase of serum BALP in asthmatic children after treatment; there was significant increase in serum IGF-1 of patients group after treatment compared with in normal children at the same age group; there was significant decrease in urinary DPD/Cr after treatment. There was no significant decrease in BMD before and after treatment at the hip (neck of femur , trochanter of femur ,Ward′s triangle),the lumber area of the spine (L2-4) and forearm (ultradis, distal). Conclusion Long-term treatment with low does corticosteroid dose not restrictedly affect bone metabolism and BMD in children with asthma.

Neurofibromatosis type 1 (NF-1) is an autosomal dominant disorder. Pseudoaneurysms formation and rupture is an unusual complication of neurofibromatosis. To date, pseudoaneurysm of the internal pudendal artery associated with NF-1 has not been reported. In this article, we present a 62-yr-old man with NF-1 suffering from spontaneous hematoma of the perinea and scrotum. A digital substraction angiography disclosed a ruptured pseudoaneurysm of the right internal pudendal artery, which was successfully managed with transcatheter embolization.

OBJECTIVETo explore the satisfactory rate in patients with body dysmorphic disorder (BDD) after cosmetic surgery.
METHODSWe designed a questionnaire to investigate the postoperative satisfactory rate in patients with BDD and without BDD.
RESULTSThere was significant difference in postoperative satisfactory rate between patients with BDD and without BDD.
CONCLUSIONThe patients with BDD have a lower satisfactory rate, which is even worse after repeated surgery.

OBJECTIVETo observe the effects of qi-supplementing dominated Chinese materia medica (QSDCMM) combined with rehabilitation training on the quality of life (QOL) of ischemic post-stroke fatigue (PSF) patients of qi deficiency syndrome.
METHODSNinety ischemic stroke patients of qi deficiency were randomly assigned to 3 groups, 30 in each. Patients in the Chinese medicine treatment group were treated with oral administration of QSDCMM decoction and rehabilitation. Those in the Western medicine treatment group were treated with Chinese medicine placebo, Western medicine, and rehabilitation. Those in the control group were treated with Chinese medicine placebo and rehabilitation. The therapeutic course for all was 4 weeks. All patients were assessed using Stroke Specific Quality of Life Scale (SS-QOL) and Fatigue Severity Scale (FSS) before treatment and 4 weeks after treatment.
RESULTSAfter treatment the scores of SS-QOL and FSS increased in the 3 groups, especially in the CM treatment group, showing significant difference (P < 0.05). After treatment significant difference existed between the CM treatment group and the Western medicine treatment group, between the CM treatment group and the control group, showing significant difference (P < 0.05). There was no statistical difference between the Western medicine treatment group and the control group (P > 0.05).
CONCLUSIONQSDCMM combined with rehabilitation training could improve the QOL of ischemic PSF patients of qi deficiency syndrome.
