Electrocardiogram (ECG) signals are susceptible to be disturbed by 50 Hz power line interference (PLI) in the process of acquisition and conversion. This paper, therefore, proposes a novel PLI removal algorithm based on morphological component analysis (MCA) and ensemble empirical mode decomposition (EEMD). Firstly, according to the morphological differences in ECG waveform characteristics, the noisy ECG signal was decomposed into the mutated component, the smooth component and the residual component by MCA. Secondly, intrinsic mode functions (IMF) of PLI was filtered. The noise suppression rate (NSR) and the signal distortion ratio (SDR) were used to evaluate the effect of de-noising algorithm. Finally, the ECG signals were re-constructed. Based on the experimental comparison, it was concluded that the proposed algorithm had better filtering functions than the improved Levkov algorithm, because it could not only effectively filter the PLI, but also have smaller SDR value.

Among 941 patients of AMI admitted in the period from Jan 1969 to Jan 1989, 89 cases were complicated with diabetes mellitus (9.5%). The diabetic patients are older than non-diabetic, the occurrence of reinfarction and complications during AMI were more frequent and the mortality was higher incidence of complication of hypertension (69.7%) and hyperlipi-demia(39.3%).The clinical characteristics of AMI in diabetic patients are: higher occurrence of silent myo-cardial infarction and more frequent occurrence of heart failure. Recently, evidences from clinic-pathologic and epidemiologic investigations and experimental studies suggest that diabetes mellitus is associated not only with severe coronary atherosclerosis, but also microangiopathy, disorders in vegetative nervous system, and pathology of the myocardium. Therefore effective measures for prevention and treatment of diabetes is very important to decrease the mortality of AMI.

Objective To survey prevalence of behavior problems in children of off-farm workers and effects of family factors on children' s behavior problems. Methods The study was done in the whole 7 schools for off-farm workers' children in Shanghai Baoshan district, including all 3 ~ 6 grades students of primary school and 1 ~3 grades students of junior high school.Totally 4350 students finished survey (95.4%).Achenbach' s child behavior checklist ( CBCL,parent' s version) and general family questionnaire were used. Results ( 1 ) Prevalence of behavior problems in children was 11.2% ; 12.8% 12 ~ 16 years children had behavior problems( 14.7%boys and 10.4% girls) ; 11.4% of one-child children had behavior problems compared with that of 11.2% child with siblings children ( x2 =0.038,P > 0.05 ).(2) Total score ( 20.64 ± 17.67 ) and factor scores of thought problems, depressed, hyperactivity, delinquent rule-breaking behavior were higher than those of Chinese norm (P <0.05 or P < 0.01 ) among 6 ~ 11 years boy group.Total score ( 17.23 ± 14.73 ) and scores of thought problems, depressed, social problems, hyperactivity, delinquent rule-breaking behavior were higher than those of Chinese norm (P < 0.01 ) among 6 ~ 11 years girl group.Among 12 ~ 16 years boy group, total score (20.44 ± 19.32) and all factor scores of CBCL were higher than those of Chinese norm(P<0.01 ).Total score ( 17.02 ± 16.72) and scores of immature, delinquent rule-breaking behavior, brutality were higher than those of Chinese norm(P < 0.05 or P <0.01 ) among 6 ~ 11 years girl group.(3)Multi-regression analysis showed that poor parent-child relationship was the most important predict factor for higher score of CBCL among all family risk factors (P < 0.05 ).Conclusion Children of the off-farm workers and their families need special mental health care program.

Objective:To observe the influence of radiofrequency catheter ablation of the fat pad at the right pulmonary vein- atria junction(RPV fat pad)on Bezold-Jarisch reflex(BJR)induced by veratridine in canine. Methods:Ten mongrel dogs were anesthetized and their chest were opened through a right thoracotomy to expose the RPV fat pad.Veratridine was injected into the left ventricle at bolus doses of 10?g/kg through a catheter to induce BJR.The sinus cycle length(SCL),systolic arterial pressure(SAP),diastolic arterial pressure(DAP),mean arterial pressure(MAP),left ventricle systolic pressure(LVSP), left ventricle diastolic pressure(LVDP)and mean left ventricle pressure(MLVP)were measured under the baseline and after ablation of the RPV fat pad;the changes of the above parameters(?SCL,?SAP,?DAP,?MAP,?LVSP,?LVDP,and?MLVP)were calculated. Then the same dose of veratridine was injected under the pad after ablation and the changes of the a- bove parameters were observed. Results:BJR was successfully induced in the 8 animals;the animals has prolonged sinus cycle length(SCL)and decreased MAP and MLVP.After ablation, the prolongation of SCL after injection of veratridine was markedly reduced([229.2?92.3]ms vs[39.3?14.1]ms,P

Objective To investigate the possibility of immune tole rance induced by bone marrow-derived mesenchymal stem cells in allogeneic organ transplantation. Methods Allogeneic bone marrow-derived mesenchymal stem cells and syngeneic bone marrow cells were cotransplanted to lethally irradiated female C57BL/6 recipient mice. FACS was used to analyze the chimerism 150 days later. Mixed lymphocyte reaction and ConA induced proliferation test were performed to evaluate proliferative activity of mice spleen cells in cell-transplanted group. Skin transplantation test was done to observe immune response of cell-transplanted group mice against organ graft from donor mice. Results About 5 97% donor T cells were detected in splenocytes of cell-transplanted group mice. MLR showed that mean SI of cell-transplanted group mice was 1.79, and that of untreated group mice was 7 28. ConA induced proliferation test showed that mean SI of cell-transplanted group mice was 31 92; and that of untreated group mice was 34 99. Mean survival time of donor-derived skin graft in cell-transplanted group mice was more than 90 days; and that in untreated group mice was 8 days. Conclusion Our results showed for the first time that induction of stable mixed hematopoietic chimerism after allogeneic bone marrow derived mesenchymal stem cells transplantation lead to stable donor-specific tolerance in allogeneic host and skin graft survival from donor mice.

OBJECTIVETo investigate the diagnostic value of MRI in radial head fracture with forearm interosseous membrane injuries.
METHODSFrom December 2011 to December 2012,26 patients with fractures of capitulum radial in our hospital were collected. There were 15 males and 11 females, ranging in age from 21 to 53 years old, with an average of 37.6 years old. All the patients visited hospital within 72 hours after injuries. X-ray radiography of full ulnar radial length in injured side, CT in injured side (three-dimensional reconstruction if necessary) and MRI (including the elbow and wrist joints) were performed within a week after the injury. The MRI manifestations of the forearm interosseous membrane (with or without damage, the injured location and the injury degree ) and the fractures degree of radial head were observed and compared for the relativity.
RESULTSRadial head fracture from Mason type I to III was associated with the forearm interosseous membrane injury. Radial head fracture degree was positive correlated with forearm interosseous membrane injury degree (P < 0.05).
CONCLUSIONRadial head fracture with suspicious forearm interosseous membrane injury is necessary to take MRI for checking for any interosseous membrane injury and injury degree, then choose the right treatment for radial capitulum fracture, only in this way can be helpful for the functional recovery of elbow and forearm.
