1.Evaluation of N-Terminal Pro Brain Natriuretic Peptide for Assessment of Left Ventricular Remodeling and Left Ventricular Function in Acute Myocardial Infarction
Chinese Circulation Journal 2004;0(05):-
Objective:To evaluate the value of N terminal pro brain natriuretic peptide(NT proBNP) in assessment of left ventricular remodeling and left ventricular function in patients with acute myocardial infarction. Methods:Echocardiography was performed in 61 patients with acute myocardial infarction(AMI) and in 20 control participants Plasma samples for NT proBNP were obtained at 48 96 hours after AMI.NT proBNP was determined by ELISA method. Results:Compared with controls NT proBNP in AMI patients were significantly higher ( p 55.The sensitivity, specificity and accuracy were 84 6%,65 5% and 77 7%,respectively.In Multivariate analysis NT proBNP was correlated with Killip classification and wall motion index. Conclusion:Plasma NT proBNP was significantly increased in AMI patients Plasma NT proBNP was correlated with cardiac functional class and extension of myocardial infraction.

Chinese Journal of Nosocomiology 1994;0(01):-
OBJECTIVE Through studying the bacteria spreading in the in-hospital patients′ mattresses, cotton quilts, and pillows,to analyze the possible factors that could lead to the cross-infections among the(patients).METHODS Using the technique stipulated in the Regulations of Sterilization Techniques(Ministry of Health,2002) GB15982-1995A_3,30 samples were collected from each group of mattresses, cotton quilts, and pillows, and were examined through bacteriological lab investigations.RESULTS There were different types of(bacteria) in the mattresses, cotton quilts, and pillows;the spread of the bacteria was various.CONCLUSIONS The(percentage) of infection in the pillows is higher than the percentage in the mattresses and the cotton quilts. There are different types of bacteria existing in the samples taken, and the spreading of the bacteria varies.

Journal of Applied Clinical Pediatrics 2006;0(19):-
Objective To explore the diagnosis, treatment and pathology of malignant brain tumor in children. Methods The clinical data of 61 children with malignant brain tumor were reviewed, including their age distribution, diagnosis, operation route(according to the position of the brain tumors),chemotherapy [using bischloro-nitrosourea(BCNU),teniposide(VM-26) and temozolomide]and radiotherapy (part and whole brain irradiation, three diamensions conformal therapy, gamma knife and X-kinfe).Results Of 61 cases, which including 37 boys and 24 girls whose mean age was 11.3 years,24 cases were supratentorial tumors and 37 cases were infratentorial.Forty-five tumors received total or subtotal recession,10 cases with major recession, and 6 cases with partial recession. After operation,39 cases (63.9%) received radiotherapy, and 29 cases (47.5%) with chemotherapy.Follow-up of 49 cases were achieved,in which 22 cases died and 27 cases survived. Conclusions Surgical removal is still the chief treatment for malignant brain tumor in children. The exairesis profect should be formulated according to the specificity of each case.Radiotherapy methods should be related to post-operational images(CT or MRI).And it was different from the brain tumors in adult. It is good to prolong survival duration for some chosen cases with optimal chemotherapy.

Microarray technology are being performed more widely than ever before on many areas in lifescience, although the technology is still evolving, the challenge of performing a microarray experiment is no longer in the data generation, but in extracting useful information and utilizing it to get the results with biological meanings. Some methods and tools used for expressional microarray data mining based on previous work were summarized. These methods include gene clustering,GO analysis, regulating pathway analysis, and related algorithm. We hope this can be helpful for those researchers who are implementing expressional microarray for biological analysis.

Chinese Journal of Immunology 1985;0(06):-
The effect of Fusarin C, a new mutagen extracted from Fusarium moniliforme,on murine peritoneal M? activation by measuring M?-mediated MTC ADCC and CS,Fusarin C could inhibit M? activation by both MAF and FDP. The inhibitory effect was dose-and time-dependent and the curves of dose-and time-response were similar in all three assays. There is, however, apparent difference in Fusarin C dose and time needed to induce significant in hibition among these assays. Significant inhibition occured at 0.4?g/ml and 0.5?g/ml for MTC and CS respectively, but 1.6?g/ml for ADCC. Similarly, the minimal period of time necessary to bring about significant inhibition was 2 hr for MTC, but 3 hr for ADCC. Finally, significance of the inhibitory effect of Fusarin C on M? anti-tumor activity in relation to carcinogenesis was discussed.

The inhibitory effect of Fusarin C,a new mutagen isolated from Fusarium moniliforme,on M? activation was investigated. The inhibitory effect of Fusarin C disappeared partially after 24 hr culture in the absence of the mycotoxin and completely after 72 hr.In addition,it could be overcome by high concentrations of M? activating factor or anti-serum to the target cells.

Objective To evaluate the effect of cytokine-induced killer cells (CIKs) as an adoptive immunotherapy option for treatment of leukemia relapse after allo-hematopoietic stem cell transplantation (allo-HSCT).Methods Two cases of infusion of donor CIKs in patients with leukemia relapse after allo-HSCT were retrospectively analyzed.Patient one relapsed 986 days (+986d) after HLA-matched unrelated donor allo-HSCT.Applications of chemotherapy only resulted in short term remission, but allo-CIKs were successfully expanded from the patient's peripheral blood mononuclear cells of donor origin.Totally five cycles of CIKs infusion were infused as an alternative of adoptive immunotherapy.Patient two had recurrent in the + 158d after HLA-matched sibling alloHSCT.At + 204d and + 294d,two cycles of CIKs which were expanded from donor peripheral blood mononuclear cells were infused. Results One cycle of CIKs was given to patient one after the application of chemotherapy to reduce the tumor burden, and the patient successively achieved complete remission.Again after additional four cycles of CIKs infusion, consistent remission was maintained during the following seven months.Patient two who had relapsed disease posttransplantation, achieved cytological complete remission after withdrawal of immunosuppressants and undergoing chemotherapy combined with G-CSF mobilized stem cell infusion. However,at + 187d,the patient suffered from side-effect of acute graft versus host disease and extramedullary infiltration. The symptoms were alleviated markedly after one cycle of CIKs infusion at + 204d.Moreover,the pain disappeared after an additional infusion at + 294d.And up to the present, the bone marrow aspiration showed complete remission while the extramedullary disease vanished. Conclusion The use of CIKs in the treatment of leukemia relapse after allogeneic bone marrow transplantation can be feasible and well tolerated.

Journal of Medical Postgraduates 2015;(8):847-849
Objective Non-alcoholic fatty liver ( NAFL) is a metabolic disease and levocarnitine can be used to improve the energy metabolism of the patient .This study aimed to evaluate the clinical efficacy of levocarnitine in the treatment of NAFL . Methods We retrospectively analyzed 85 cases of NAFL treated by lifestyle intervention (control group, n=40) or by lifestyle intervention +levo-carnitine medication (medication group, n=45).In addition to lifestyle intervention, the patients in the medication group received oral levocarnitine at 10 mL tid for 4 weeks followed by a reduced dose of 10 mL bid for another 8 weeks. Results Twelve weeks after treat-ment, 37 cases (82.2%) in the medication group showed remarkable improvement and the other 8 failed to respond. In the control group, 23 cases (57.5%) were improved and 17 cases remained unimproved .There were statistically significant differences in the rate of therapeutic effectiveness between the two groups of patients (P<0.01).No adverse effects were observed during the levocarnitine medi-cation. Conclusion Lifestyle intervention +levocarnitine medication can improve NAFL .
