3.Distribution of pathogens and research of drug resistance on 712 sputum specimens

Objective To investigate the distribution and the drug resistance of pathogens isolated from 712 sputum specimens in the hospital.Methods 712 sputum specimens collected from the hospital underwent microorganism culture and drug sensitivity test.Disc diffusion screening and the K-B disc diffusion confirmatory method were applied to detect ESBLs,K-B test was used to judge their sensitivityies to drugs.Results The positive rate of sputum culture was increasing apparently(38% in 2003,49% in 2004 respectively).Pseudomonas aeruginosa,Escherichia coli,Klebsiella pneumoniae,and Staphylococcus epidermidis,Enterobacter,and Staphylococcus aureus were six most commonly detected oxygen-dependent bacterias.The results of the drug resistance test showed that the multiple drug resistance to antibiotics was serious.More and more enterobacteriaceae producing ESBLs were found.Conclusion Gram-negative bacilli are the major pathogens in the sputum culture,multiple drug resistance is serious. Therefore monitoring drug resistance is very important for instructing clinical doctors to use antibiotics properly.
4.Optimization and Innovation of Hospital Total Budgetary System

Objective To further improve the total budgetary system of hospital. Methods Advanced total budgetary management was used for reference and volume-profit analysis was utilized. Results Objectives of budget management were improved. More scientific budget method was used for different budget. With labor division and mechanism coordination considered, the budget mode was further improved. Conclusion The hospital budget management becomes more scientific and effective.
5.Constructing MIS of Total Budgetary Management in Modern Hospitals

Objective To construct MIS of the total budgetary management in our hospital based on the present system,improving the efficiency of economic resources and saving the cost.Methods The idea of total budgetary management was used in combination with informationization theory.Results With the total budget management system improved,the working efficiency was enhanced,and hospital economic resources were saved.Conclusion Through further analyzing,constructing and applying,the hospital total budget management is enriched to be more quick,scientific and effective.
6.Design of blood dialysis water supply system

Blood dialysis is a long-term constant cure for imperfect chronic nephrosis, in which the water quality plays an important role. Since high purified water for blood dialysis is obtained by reverse osmosis film separation, the quality of reverse osmosis unit is critical for water quality index, which should meet AAMI water supply standard, thus entailing a proper plan for the whole system. In this paper, process design for reverse osmosis treatment, pretreatment and post-treatment system is presented.

9.Nosocomial Infection in Department of Neurology in Traditional Chinese Medicine Hospital:An Investigation and Analysis

OBJECTIVE To analyze the morbidity,the pathogen and the risk factors of nosocomial infection in department of neurology in our hospital for searching the effective prophylactico-therapeutic measures.METHODS On the basis of investigating the recovery patients in department of neurology in our hospital from Jan 2003 to Dec 2005,we analyzed the morbidity,the infected sites,the difference of the nosocomial infection among underlying diseases,and the high incidence of nosocomial infection induced by invasive examination and cure.RESULTS The morbidity of nosocomial infection in department of neurology was 4.73%,and this was the highest in our hospital.The primary infected sites were the lower respiratory tract,the urinary tract and the upper respiratory tract,and the morbidity of nosocomial infective induced by invasion examination and cure increased obviously.CONCLUSIONS The morbidity of nosocomial infection in department of neurology is obviously above than other departments.Therefore,department of neurology should be emphasized to monitor,control and prevent nosocomial infection in the hospital.
10.Effect of IL-2 and/or IL-12 gene therapy on IL gene expression and T cell subpopulation in rats with liver cancer

Objective: To study the effects of intrasplenic injection of IL-12 and/or IL-2 genes on serum levels of IL-2 and IL-12 and T cell activity in induced liver cancer in rats. Methods: Forty-eight rats with diethylnitrosamine induced liver cancer were equally divided into 4 groups: mock-infected group, IL-2 group, IL-12 group and IL-2/IL-12 group. Retroviral vectors encoding IL-2 and/or IL-12 genes were constructed and were used to transfect packaging cell lines PE501 and PA317. The tansfected PE501 and PA317 cells were injected into rat spleen at different time points and the serum levels of IL-2 and IL-12, T cell activity and toxic effect were determined. Results: The serum levels of IL-2 and IL-12 were obviously increased in IL-2 and IL-12 group, respectively, and the increase was even more obvious in IL-2/IL-12 group. Pathological study showed that there was an increase in lymphocytes infiltration of liver tissues in IL-2/IL-12 group. Compared with mock-infected group, T cell activity markedly increased in IL-2 and IL-12 group, and that in IL-2/IL-12 group was even more active. Moreover, the acting time of IL-2/IL-12 was longer than that of IL-2 or IL-12 alone. Conclusion: Direct injection of IL-2 and/or IL-12 genes into spleen can increase the T cell activity. Combined gene therapy with IL-2 and IL-12 is superior to IL-2 or IL-12 gene alone.
