Objective:To observe the curative effect of vinpocetine combined with Danhong injections in the treatment of posterior circulation ischemia syndrome. Methods:Totally 120 patients with posterior circulation ischemia syndrome were selected and randomly divided into the treatment group and the control group with 60 cases in each. Both groups were treated by the conventional therapy, meanwhile, the treatment group was given vinpocetine and Danhong injections, and the control group was given vinpocetine alone. The treatment course was 14 days. The curative effect was observed, blood rheology and hemodynamics were also studied. Results:The to-tal effective rate of the treatment group was 95. 0%, which was significantly higher than that of the control group (75. 0%) with statis-tically significant difference(P<0. 05). After the treatment, the blood rheology (viscosity, low shear viscosity, plasma viscosity and reduced viscosity) and TCD ( LVA, RVA, BA and PI) in the two groups were significantly improved, and the treatment group showed more significant improvement(P<0. 05). Conclusion:Vinpocetine combined with Danhong injections in the treatment of posterior cir-culation ischemia syndrome has significant effect in the effective improvement of blood rheology and hemodynamics, which is worthy of clinical promotion and application.

Antiangiogenesis therapy is one of the most common anticancer therapies. Bevacizumab is a monoclonal antibody that blocks the binding of the vascular endothelial growth factor to its high-affinity receptors. It is the only antiangiogenic agent approved for the first-line treatment of advanced non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC). Many recent studies have attempted to determine the suit-able partners of bevacizumab in first-line treatment of NSCLC and evaluate its efficacy and safety as a second-line or beyond and con-tinuous treatment of beyond disease progression in patients with advanced NSCLC. This review summarizes current clinical research about the efficacy and safety of bevacizumab in the treatment of advanced NSCLC.

According to two kinds of acupoint combination methods for Huahe and Huhe in five-door and ten-change theory proposed by the deceased Taiwanese famous acupuncturist Mr. ZHOU Zuo-yu, the origin of the change theory proposed by the deceased Taiwanese famous acupuncturist Mr. ZHOU Zuo-yu, the origin of the acupoint combination method of five-door and ten-change is introduced. This method combines traditional philosophy of Yi with medicine, which is featured with casual timing, casual pattern, capacity to be combined with TCM syndrome differentiation, specific application scope and pertinence. Some clinical cases are additionally presented to verify this method. Huhe method is mostly used for Bi-syndrome while Huahe method has better effects on internal medicine diseases. They open the new thinking methods for clinical acupoint selection.

Objective To explore economic valuation of the minimally invasive esophagectomy.Methods The cases undergone esophagectomy were studied retrospectively.Monofactorial analysis was done to evaluate the impact of various factors on the overall hospitalization costs.The correlated factors then were used as independent variables to carry out the multiple linear regression aimed at the hospitalization costs.Results The results of monofactorial analysis showed that the accompanying diseases,days during hospitalization,modes of esophagectomy,postoperative complications were correlated factors of the overall hospitalization costs.According to the multiple linear regression,it were sorted based on descending order duing to its effect of largenning the hospitalization costs:postoperative complications (β =0.439,P =0.000),days during hospitalization (β =0.397,P =0.000),accompanying diseases(β =0.257,P =0.000),modes of esophagectomy(β =0.132,P =0.000).The expenses caused immediately by the operations were statistically more of the minimally invasive surgery than that of the open procedures whatever the numerous or proportion of the overall costs (P =0.000).Conclusion Combined thoracoscopic and laparoscopic esophagectomy was more expensive than open operation.Nevertheless,impact of the other factors,such as postoperative complications,were more significant than that of the different procedure.h was a strategy to minimally invasive osophagectomy that hospitalization costs could be reduced by means of controlling complications and diminishing hospitalization days.

Objective To investigate the effect of hypertension on the large artery elasticity index (C1),the small artery elasticity index (C2) and the medial structure of the ascending aorta as well as the relationship between artery elasticity and the medial structure of the ascending aorta.Methods Sixty patients with CHD receiving coronary artery bypass graft surgery at our hospital were divided into two groups:30 patients in the hypertension group and 30 patients in the non-hypertension group.C1 and C2 were measured using the CVProfilor DO-2020 system.Sections of tissues taken from the anterior wall of the ascending aorta during the surgery were subjected to Masson's trichrome staining for the detection of vascular smooth muscle and collagen fibers and Weigert's resorcin-fuchsin staining for the detection of elastic fibers.The relative areas of vascular smooth muscle fibers,collagen fibers and elastic fibers of the ascending aorta were measured by a computer image analysis system under the light microscope.The linear correlations of C1 and C2 with the medial structure of the ascending aorta were analyzed.Results C1 in the non hypertension group was higher than that in thehypertensiongroup[11.9±1.8 (ml/mmHg×10) w 13.1±2.5 (ml/mmHg×10),t 2.22,P ＜0.05].In the media of the ascending aorta,the relative content of collagen fibers was higher,while the relative content of elastic fibers was lower in the hypertension group than in the non-hypertension group [(46.0±3.8)％ w (42.2±3.0)％,(17.5±3.5)％ vs.(19.3 2.7)％,respectively,t=4.24 and 2.20,P＜0.01 or 0.05].C1 was positively correlated with the relative content of elastic fibers but negatively correlated with the relative content of collagen fibers in both groups (r=0.52 and 0.39,respectively,P＜0.05 or 0.01).Conclusions The main pathogenic basis of hypertension-induced decline in arterial elasticity in CHD patients is increased collagen fibers and reduced elastic fibers with disorganization of the two types of components.C1 may accurately reflect the effect of hypertension on medial collagen fibers and elastic fibers in the ascending aorta.

Background and purpose:Hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) is a common malignant tumor of the digestive system in our country, with high fatality, development of HCC and the machine system research and treatment is a primary issue in current study of HCC. To explore the expression ofβ-catenin at different stages in the process of hepatocellular carcinoma carcinogenisis for SD rats induced by chemicals. Methods: The experimental group included 48 male SD rats mice with primary liver cancer induced by diethylnirtosamine/carbon tetrachloride/Ethanol, while 48 normal male SD rats mice were used as the control group. The rats were killed every 3 weeks to collect the specimens and observe the pathological changes by HE staining. The changes ofβ-catenin protein expressions were detected by immunohistochemistry and Western blot respectively. Results:SD rats liver cancer was conifrmed by HE staining after 21 weeks DEN/CCl4/Ethanol induction. Immunohistochemistry showed thatβ-catenin expression level was obviously higher in the experimental group(0.27±0.01) than that of the control group(0.21±0.02) after 3 weeks induction(P<0.05). As time progresses, the expression levels ofβ-catenin kept on rising, and at the 18th(0.30±0.02) and 21th weeks(0.32±0.02), it was significantly higher than that of the earlier liver tissues of the experimental group(P<0.05), Western blot consistent with immunohistochemical results. Conclusion:β-catenin protein expression is different in the normal liver tissue, cirrhosis, liver cancer,β-catenin and the occurrence of liver carcinoma development had close relationship.β-catenin protein in the cell with further accumulation, may active a series of target gene, leading to the formation of liver cancer..
