A method for determination of 6 plant growth regulators by high performance liquid chromatography-tandem mass spectrometry ( HPLC-MS/MS ) coupled with isotope-coded derivatization was developed. d0-10-Methyl-acridone-2-sulfonyl piperazine ( d0-MASPz, light form) and d3-10-methyl-acridone-2-sulfonyl piperazine ( d3-MASPz, heavy form ) were prepared as isotope-coded derivatization reagents for carboxyl compound. The carboxyl plant growth regulator standards and real samples were derivatized by d0-MASPz and d3-MASPz, respectively. The obtained solutions were mixed at a certain ratio, and then injected for HPLC-MS/MS analysis. The light and heavy derivatives were monitored with transitions of [M+H]+m/z 208. 2 and [M+H]+ m/z 211. 2,respectively. With heavy derivative as internal standard for corresponding light derivative, the global isotope internal standard quantification for 6 plant growth regulators was achieved. The results indicated that the proposed isotope-coded derivatization method could provide relative quantitative data with adequate linearity in a 10-fold dynamic range ( R=0 . 9991 ) . The detection and quantitation limits were 0. 19-0. 34 μmol/L and 0. 53-0. 96 μmol/L, respectively. The relative standard deviations were ≤3 . 8%, and the accuracies ranged from 97 . 5% to 103 . 8%.

Objective To explore the influence of cyclosporin on C-reactive protein (CRP),transforming growth factor-?1( TGF- ?1), matrix metalloproteinases (MMPs) and tissue inhibitor of metalloproteinases (TIMPs) in rats with asthma. Methods Eighty SD rats were randomly divided into normal group, model group, dexamethasone group,low- dose and high-dose of cyclosporin groups. The changes of CRP, TGF-?1, MMPs and TIMPs in samples were measured by computerized image analysis system. Results The contents of CRP, TGF-?1, MMPs and TIMPs in model group were significantly higher than those of control group(all P0.05).Conclusion CRP,TGF-?1,MMPs and TIMPs are related to asthma and certain dose of cyclosporin is similar to hormone.

Objective To investigate the diagnostic value of transbronchial needle aspiration (TBNA) and transbronchial biopsy(TBB) in central lung cancer. Methods Retrospectively analyzed the diagnostic data of 150 patients with central lung cancer who underwent TBNA followed by TBB in our hospital from January 2011 to October 2012.Results Among 150 patients with central lung cancer,33 cases had intracavity mass.Thirtythree cases (100%) were confirmed by TBB and 32 cases (97.0%) confirmed by TBNA.There was no statistically significant difference between the diagnosis of TBB and TBNA(P =0.90).There were 26 cases with simple stenosis, among which 1 case(3.9%) confirmed by TBB and 26 cases(100%) confirmed by TBNA.And there was statistically significant difference was observed between the diagnosis by TBB and TBNA (P =0.01) Sixteen cases belonged to the lumen external pressure type with 2 cases(12.5%) were confirmed by TBB and 16 cases(100%) confirmed by TBNA.And there was statistically significant difference was observed between the diagnosis by TBB and TBNA (P =0.02).Forty-seven cases had luminal stenosis combined with mucosal diffuse lesions with 25 cases(53.2%) confirmed by TBB and 40 cases(85.1%) confirmed by TBNA.And there was statistical difference was observed between the diagnosis of TBB and TBNA(P =0.04).Twenty-eight cases had mixed type central lung cancer with 27 cases(96.4%) confirmed by TBB and 28 cases(100%) confirmed by TBNA.No statistically significant difference was observed between the diagnosis of TBB and TBNA (P =0.87).Conclusion According to endoscopic performance of central lung cancer, accurate and reasonable choice of biopsy method can minimize inspection costs on the basis of maintaining positive rate of diagnosis in order to achieve optimal titer.

ObjectiveTo explore the correlations of simple bladder capacity measurement and urodynamic examination used for assessing the bladder function of patients with spinal cord injury. Methods From December 2011 to September 2013,a total of 37 patients with spinal cord injury were recruited.Their bladder functions were examined by both simple bladder capacity measurement and urodynamics in the first week after admission. The type of neurogenic bladder, residue urine, bladder capacity and the changes of bladder pressure were documented and compared. Results The simple bladder capacity measurement and urodynamics showed no significant differences in the parameters including residual urine, and bladder pressures when inputting 50mL,100mL,300mL and 400mL water(P>0.05). But there were significant differences in the results of bladder capacity and bladder pressure when inputting 200mL water(P<0.05). The intra-class coefficients between the results by the two methods were 0.606~0.919(P<0.01).The Kappa coefficient of the health professionals’judgments according to the two methods was 0.825(P<0.001).Conclusions The results of simple bladder capacity measurement are reliable. It can be used as the supplement for urodynamics to monitor the bladder function of patients with spinal cord injury.

OBJECTIVETo assess the accuracy of computed tomography angiography (CTA) in quantifying atherosclerotic area in the vascular wall of the carotid artery in comparison with high-resolution magnetic resonance imaging (MRI).
METHODSEighteen subjects (15 males and 3 females aged 63-/+8 years) with >or=50% stenosis in at least one carotid artery were enrolled in this study. CTA and high-resolution MRI scans (in-plane pixel size of 0.25 mmx0.25 mm for both) were conducted within 1 week on a multi-slice spiral CT scanner and a 1.5T MR scanner (Signa, GE Medical Systems), respectively. CTA images were matched with MR images with the carotid bifurcation as the mark. For each patient, multiple matched slices with carotid atherosclerotic plaques in the bilateral carotid arteries were selected to measure the outer wall boundary (OWB) area, lumen area and wall area. Bland-Altman analysis and Pearson correlation coefficients were used to analyze the correlations of the area measurements between CTA and high-resolution MRI.
RESULTSA wide range of lesion size (vascular wall area) was found in these patients. Strong correlations were noted between CTA and high-resolution MRI with the correlation coefficients for OWB area, lumen area and wall area of 0.98, 0.98 and 0.96, respectively. The mean differences between CTA and high-resolution MRI were 0.16-/+5.71 mm(2), 4.47-/+1.44 mm(2) and -4.31-/+5.73 mm(2) for OWB area, lumen area and wall area, respectively.
CONCLUSIONCompared to high-resolution MRI, CTA is also a reliable method to measure carotid vascular wall area. CTA might become an alternative modality to high-resolution MRI for follow-up examination of patients with carotid artery atherosclerosis, especially in uncooperative patients or patients with contra-indications for MRI.
