The term pseudolymphoma is not specific, and a variety of infl; m atory reactions may simulate clinically and histopat, hologically a cutaneous malignant lymphomas udolymphoma induced by drug therapies, especially anticonvulsants, have been reportecl. These pseidayrnphornas most commonly appear as single lesions. Characteristically, few localized lesions disappear after discontinuing therapy with the offending drug. Multiple and generalized tumors are very rate. We report a case of generalized cutaneous pseudolymphoma assocated with phenytoin therapy in a 52-year old male patient.

Journal of the Korean Ophthalmological Society 1995;36(1):52-57
Branch retinal vein occlusion(BRVO) is the most frequent entity of retinal vascular abnormality following diabetic retinopathy; a review of diagnosis for all our new outpatients verifies this, Sudden loss of visual acuity occur in the vast majority of BRVO patients. Other complications are macular edema, capillary nonperfusion, neovascularization, vitreous hemorrhage and so on. We did a clinical analysis of 71 patients with BRVO(71 eyes), who were considered to be treated with laser photocoagulation to prevent vitreous hemorrhage. We confirmed the fact that laser photocoagulation could prevent vitreous hemorrhage to a significant degree, but we were unable to demonstrate any statistical correlation between the occurrence of vitreous hemorrhage and the time of laser photocoagulation.

Journal of the Korean Ophthalmological Society 1997;38(7):1155-1161
A study on objective personality characteristics of 41 central serous chorioretinopathy patients was performed to investigate the etiologic relationship of psychological behaviors about the central serous chorioretinopathy. Fourty-one healthy subjects were used as a control group. Authors used the Minnesota Multiphasic Personality Inventory (MMPI) which consisted of 4 validity scales and 10 clinical scales. Three neurotic scales of hypochondriasis, depression and hysteria in the atients group were significantly higher than in the normal control group even though the mean scores on each clinical scale were within normal ranges in both groups.

Journal of the Korean Ophthalmological Society 1995;36(2):301-306
Argon laser trabeculoplasty(ALT) is commonly used in the treatment of uncontrolled open angle glaucoma. The authors retrospectively reviewed the efficacy of ALT in 52 patients(57 eyes) with primary open angle glaucoma. The mean follow-up was 28 months(range 2-48 months). The decrease in intraocular pressure 10P) was 10.1 +/- 3.5 mmHg at 1 month, 8.2 +/- 2.8 mmHg at 1 year, 6.2 +/- 5.1 mmHg at 2 years and 51% at 3 years. Failure was most common in the first 6 months after treatment(29%) and thereafter failure occurred at a rate of 5% to 15% per year. The sex and age of patients had no significant effect on success rate. The success rate was high in the patients with baseline IOP of 26 to 30 mmHg. A mild iritis in all cases, transient rise in IOP, peripheral anterior synechia and microscopic hyphema were noted as early complications of ALT.

Journal of Korean Neurosurgical Society 1994;23(10):1177-1180
Spontaneous spinal epidural hematoma are rare disease and the cause of bleeding in epidural hematoma remains unknown in most of the cause. The most frequently identified risk factor is coagulopathy or treatment with anticoagulants. Recently, authors experienced I case of spontaneous spinal epidural hematoma at thoracic location. Laboratory examination showed no evidence of coagulopathy and hepatic disease. The patient had good surgical outcome after emergent decompressive laminectomy.
