2.CGRP Immunoreactivities Following Artificail Ureteral Calsulosis and Ureteral Chemical Irritation in the Rat.
Korean Journal of Anatomy 1998;31(4):557-564
The aim of the present study was to investigate the CGRP-IR pattern in the ureter in stone-implanted rats and ureteral formalin irritated rats. Artificial ureteral stone rats were made according to Giamberardino's guide lines. For urethral formalin irritated rats, a small amount of diluted formalin was instilled into the ureter. The behavioral characteristics were observed and recorded with CCTV and analyzed, statistically. The rats showing characteristic visceral episode were sacrificed three days after stone implantation operation and after overnight chemical irritation followed by immunostaining of the ureter with anti-CGRP on the ureter In the artificial ureteral stone rats, CGRP IR fiber pattern showed variable changes on the upper portion of the stone implanted ureter. i.e., complete depletion, reticular pattern, and reticular pattern with more increased CGRP immunoreactivity were observed. In contrast, more-distinct CGRP IR fibers formed a reticular pattern but were not increased in density in the formalin irritated ureter. The results show the variable changing pattern of CGRP immunoreactivity in the ureter after artificial urethral calculosis, and the constant CGRP immunoreactivity in the ureter after chemical ureteral irritation.

Annals of Dermatology 2004;16(1):13-15
Sebaceous carcinoma is an uncommon neoplasm usually associated with ocular adnexa. This malignancy may occur at any anatomic site that contains sebaceous glands. Despite the widespread anatomic distribution of sebaceous glands, extraocular sebaceous carcinoma occurs with far less frequency. We report a case of an 87-year-old Korean woman with extraocular sebaceous carcinoma treated with total excision.

Crohn's disease is a rare inflammatory bowel disease in Korea which requires a differential diagnosis with intestinal tuberculosis. In the early stages of Crohn's diseaae, the combiation of bowel wall edema and spasm produces intermittent obstructive manifestations, so the usual subjective symptoms were appeared long standing diarrhea, low grade fever and abdominal pain and distension. We recently experienced a case of Crohn's colitis with repeated bowel obstruction in female adult who underwent surgical resection.

Korean Journal of Dermatology 1982;20(2):293-297
We herein report a 4-year-old boy with infantile digital fibrornatosis developing on the distal & middle phalanx portion of the right index & ring fingers, and the middle phalanx portion of the right middle finger, which started at the age of 5 months after birth. Biopsy specimen taken from the right middle finger showed the proliferating collagen bundles and fibroblasts in the dermis and eosinophilic cytoplasmic inclusions within the fibroblasts. Although we attempted to treat tbe patient with intralesional injection of triamcinolone acetonide suspension and cryotherapy 5 times biweekly, there was no signifit effect.
