Objective To study the quality standard of Gegenbao Soft Capsule.Methods The qualitative identification of puerarin and daidzein was carried out by TLC,and the contents of puerarin and daidzein were determined by HPLC.Results Puerarin and daidzein could be identified by TLC with high specificity.The linearity was from 0.214 to 1.42 ? g for puerarin and from 0.033 to 0.221 ? g for daidzein by HPLC,and the average recovery was 101.5 % for puerarin and 96.6 % for daidzein with RSD 1.6 % and 1.8 % respectively(n=6).Conclusion This method is simple,accurate and reliable for the quality control of Gegenbao Soft Capsule.

METHODS: The lecels of mortality, peripheral white blood cell(WBC), Homeostasis Assessment-Insulin Resistance (HOMA-IR) and Homeostasis Assessmen-?(HOMA-?),fasting glucose, fasting lactic acid of the scalded mice treated individually by infusion with sCD14,sTNFR-P55,and both the sCD14 and sTNFR-P55, were examined compared with that of the control. Objective To assay the intact genomic DNA content of different parts from Herba Hedyoeis Diffusae and to observe its influence on the result of polymerase chain reaction (PCR) amplification. Methods The genomic DNA was analyzed by agarose gel electrophoresis and absorbance detection method and PCR amplification was carried out for further comparison. Results The content of intact genomic DNA in different parts was different as well as the DNA fingerprints of PCR amplification. Conclusion The obtaining of intact genomic DNA was the premise for further study. 

OBJECTIVE:To study the effects of soluble cluster differentiation 14 (sCD14) on serum pro-and anti-inflammatory cytokines in mice with serious scald endotoxemia. METHODS: A total of 60 healthy Kunming mice were randomly assigned to sCD14 (5 mg?kg-1) group, treatment control group (normal saline) and normal control group (normal saline). The first two groups were established into scald model (scald of 30% body surface area, Ⅲ degree scald) followed by intravenous injection of the corresponding drugs in every 12 h via vena caudalis for 3 consecutive days. On day 4, the model mice were sacrificed to obtain the serum sample for the detection of levels of proinflammatory cytokines (TNF?, IL-6) and anti-inflammatory cytokines (IL-4 and IL-10). OBJECTIVE:To evaluate the effects of the individualized treatment with GIK(Glucose-insulin-potassium)polarized solution on the discharged surgical patients with hyperglycemia.METHODS:2 287 surgical patients with hyperglycemia(including 125 who had diabetes before hospitalization)receiving individualized treatment with GIK(Glucose-insulin-potassium)polarized solution and who had been discharged from hospital for 1 year were surveyed by questionnaire to collect the data of adverse drug reactions of the polarized solution.RESULTS:None of the patients had secondary diabetes mellitus,hypertension,hypoglycemia or psychological dependence on insulin;0.6% worried about the sequela of GIP;98.5% of the patients who had diabetes prior to hospitalization and have been taking insulin after been discharged from hospital agreed that the symptom of their diabetes was greatly lessened by insulin;100.0% of the patients who had diabetes prior to hospitalization and received no insulin after been discharged from hospital agreed that taking large dose of insulin during hospitalization had no effect on the symptom of their diabetes or hypertension;99.3% of patients received supplemental nutrition of polarized solution;96.9% given hyperglycemia control;38.3% received antiinflammation therapy,5.5% received protective therapy for ? cell function.CONCLUSION:Individual treatment with GIK on the surgical glycemia patients is a safe remedy without sequela.But a few of surgical glycemia patients are afraid of the ADR of the polarized solution,suggesting the importance of publicizing the use of GIK.

OBJECTIVE:To provide information concerning the rational use of prepared slices of Chinese crude drug(PSCCD)for medical staff.METHODS:Based on the”Junwei No.1”hospital information system,a database system that can provide information of rational use of PSCCD was developed through setting up database and sorting the information of PSC?CD.RESULTS&CONCLUSIONS:This system is characterized by low cost,high transportability,friendly user interface,quick inquiry and easy maintenance,which can facilitate medical staff’s convenient,quick and accurate mastering of the info_ rmation of PSCCD so as to provide better service for the patients.

OBJECTIVE: To improve the checking management of outpatient pharmacy and to reduce the error rates of checking process. METHODS: With the data from "Army No 1" hospital information system, to designe dynamic checking table ordered by fixed location of each drugs in containers, and pending prescription transfer database is established to manage unconfirmed expired prescriptions. RESULTS & CONCLUSIONS: The order of name in the stock table of drugs is identified to the position of each drug in containers. There is no requirement for incorporate check-in operation of the same kind of drugs from various manufactories and identification of their locations. Taken advantage of computer technology, this checking program is more time-saving, simple and easy, and significantly increases the accuracy of results.

OBJECTIVE: To probe into the labeling of label contents of injections in China.METHODS: The label contents of 319 kinds of injections in our hospital including dripping bottle,infusion bag,Peniciline vial,ampule,and pre-rinsing injector were investigated and analyzed in accordance with the "Rule on the Management of Package Inserts and Labeling".RESULTS & CONCLUSIONS: The problem lies in the labeling of injections manifested as incomplete of label items and fuzzy printing etc.Medical institutions,pharmaceutical enterprises and drug monitoring institutions should attach great importance to the label contents of injections.
