Objective To discuss a method to show the structure of small mammary gland well by computed radiography(CR).Methods By analyzing 150 radiographs of mammary glands, the results showed that the mammary structure showed well whether or not was depended on the size of mammary gland.Using 24 steps aluminum ladder mimiced the small mammary gland and radiography was taken with various parameters and different imaging plate(IP) shading ways, then processed and printed, after that it was measured by density instrument. Results The display of grey scale of 24 steps aluminum ladder was improved if shading 10~15 mm margin of the IP by collimator or shading the central by a square cuprum plate with 22 mm length and 0.2 mm thickness.Radiography of small mammary gland by the same way was performed and the mammary structure was also showed well. Conclusion Shading the exposing areas properly by collimator or cuprum plate during CR can apparently improve the display of small mammary structure.

The short-term fol ow-up of porous tantalum implants in orthopedic surgery has been reported. And clinical data, radiology, histological analysis of the removed material have proved the practicability and safety of the porous tantalum. But the long-term effects of porous tantalum remain to be confirmed.

Objective To investigate the role of nuclear factor(erythroid?derived 2)?like 2(Nrf2)in load?driven bone metabolism in Nrf2 knock?out(KO)mice. Methods The hybridized mice in the same brood were selected through PCR detection and were divided into two groups,i.e.,the Nrf2 knockout(KO)group and the wild?type(WT)group. Ulna of mice was loaded with 4 000 peak microstrains at 2 Hz for 3 consecutive days (120 cycles/day)as scheduled, the relative mineralizing surface(rMS/BS)and the relative bone formation rate(rBFR/BS)of ulna were measured for the two groups. Results Load?induced bone formation was suppressed in KO mice. Compared to the WT control, the relative bone formation rate was roughly 84%lower in KO mice(P<0.01). Conclusion The loss?of?function mutation of Nrf2 in bone diminishes load?driven bone formation.

In order to improve the storage and transmission efficiency of dynamic photoplethysmography (PPG) signals in the detection process and reduce the redundancy of signals, the modified adaptive matching pursuit (MAMP) algorithm was proposed according to the sparsity of the PPG signal. The proposed algorithm which is based on reconstruction method of sparse adaptive matching pursuit (SAMP), could improve the accuracy of the sparsity estimation of signals by using both variable step size and the double threshold conditions. After experiments on the simulated and the actual PPG signals, the results show that the modified algorithm could estimate the sparsity of signals accurately and quickly, and had good anti-noise performance. Contrasting with SAMP and orthogonal matching pursuit (OMP), the reconstruction speed of the algorithm was faster and the accuracy was high.

Chinese Journal of Medical Instrumentation 2015;39(4):235-239
Pulse signal contains a wealth of biological and pathological information. However, it is susceptible to the influence of various factors which results in poor signal quality, and causes the device to generate false alarms. First the pulse signals are processing into discrete symbols, and then compare the test signal with the pulse template by using Dynamic Time Warping (DTW) to get the threshold for which can be used to find the interference segment of the test signal. By analyzing the DTW distance of the pulse signal, we can get the interference degree of the signal, then the quality level of the plus signal can be defined by the relationship between the interference degree and quality of the signal. The 1 055 group pulse signals provided by MIMIC II physiological database are used to train and test the signal quality assessment algorithms, and compared with other existing algorithms. The results show that the algorithms can accurately detect interference segments in pulse signal and reflect the quality of it.

Objective A intervention study was conducted with systemic health education in patients with internet addiction disorder (IAD),and evaluate the intervention effect of systemic health education. Methods 120 patients with IAD were collected, and then divided into the observation group andthe control group with 60 cases in each group. On the base of conventional treatment, the observation groupwas given systemic health education, and the control group was given general health education. The differences between the two groups were analyzed. Results The self-evaluated addiction scores, family cohesion scores, ideal adaptability scores, reality adaptability scores in the observation group before the intervention were significantly different from those after the intervention. The addiction scores, family cohesion scores, ideal adaptability scores, reality adaptability scores in the observation group were significantly different from those of the control group after the intervention. The scores of addiction ranged between 86~90,systemic health education had protection effect on IAD,the higher family cohesion scores, the better effect of IAD with systemic health education. When the ideal adaptability scores >46,the observation group has approximately two times the positive effect of the control group. When the reality adaptability scores >46,the effect of systemic health education in the observation group was better than the control group.Concl~ons Systemic health education has a positive effect on treatment of IAD,and it can improve family cohesion and family adaptability,so that the parent-kid relationship will improve.

Chinese Pharmacological Bulletin 2003;0(11):-
The regulation of immune response is affected by several factors in order to maintain homeostasis.Indoleamine 2,3-dioxygenase(IDO) is a tryptophan-catabolizing enzyme expressed by different types of APC,including macrophages and dendritic cells.IDO activity leads to regulatory effects on T cells, which are mediated by tryptophan depletion in specific local tissue microenvironments, the production of proapoptotic metabolites, and inhibition of T-cell clone proliferation through regulatory T cells.IDO plays an important role in protecting the allogeneic fetus from rejection, the development of autoimmune diseases, allograft rejection, and cancer. So regulation of IDO activity may offer a novel drug-based strategy to treat immune-related diseases.

Chinese Journal of Nephrology 2015;31(1):30-36
Objective To systematic evaluate the efficacy of paricalcitol on estimated glomerular filtration rate (eGFR) and proteinuria in non-dialysis chronic kidney disease (CKD) patients. Methods According to the collaborative search strategy,PubMed,the clinical control test database of Cochrane Library,Embase,Chinese Wanfang database,CNKI,VIP database (form the date of database establishment to March 2014) were searched.Published and unpublished literature, abstracts in academic meetings (ASN,WCN,CSN) were also searched by hand. The randomized controlled trials (RCTs) about the efficacy paricalcitol on eGFR and proteinuria in non-dialysis CKD patients were selected.Review Manager Software 5.2 was used for statistical analysis. Results Seven RCTs with a total of 834 patients were included (508 in experimental group,326 in placebo group). No statistical difference of the efficacy on eGFR[SMD=-0.10,95% CI:(-0.28-0.07),P=0.26] between lower dose paricalcitol (< 2 μg/d) group and placebo group, while higher dose (2 μg/d) group reduced eGFR significantly [SMD=-0.45,95% CI:(-0.63--0.27),P < 0.01].Compared with placebo, paricalcitol reduced proteinuria significantly [OR(95%C1):2.09(1.52-2.58),P < 0.01],and there was no difference between different dose groups [OR(95%CI):1.09(0.62-1.91),P=0.77].Lower dose group [OR(95%C1):0.93(0.57-1.52),P=0.76] and higher dose group [OR(95% CI):2.08(0.70-6.18),P=0.19] did not significantly increase the risk of adverse events. Conclusions Lower dose paricalcitol (< 2 μg/d)has no effect on eGFR in non-dialysis CKD patients meanwhile reduces proteinuria. The higher dose (2μg/d) may reduce eGFR without farther reduction in proteinuria.
