1.Plasma immunoreactive Beta-endorphin in response to oral glucose tolerance test in children with simple obesity
Chinese Journal of Pathophysiology 1986;0(04):-
We studied the immunoreactive Beta-endorphin (ir-?-Ep) plasma levels inresponse to an oral glucose tolerance test in 7 children with simple obesity and 7 childrenof normal weight. It was shown that the levels of ir-?-Ep and insulin were significantlyhigher in the obese children as compared to controls during oral glucose tolerance test, which reached a peak at 60 minutes. The result supports the concept of a possible linkbetween Beta-endorphin and glucose homeostasis.

Aim To investigate the influence of Tanshinone ⅡA on cytokine secreted by kuppfer cells via LPS stimulation, and explore its mechanism of therapying chronic hepatic disease. Methods The liver cell and kupffer cells were isolated and the model of liver cell injuries was made induced by LPS and D-GlaN, and the effects of TanshinoneⅡA was observed on the injuries of liver cell induced by lipopoly-saccharide(LPS) and D-Galactosamine(D-GlaN). Cytokine were released secreted by kupffer cells through LPS stimulation and the contents of TNF-?,IL-6,IL-8 were determined by radio-immunoassay. The hepatocyte morphological character was observed by HE stain, the expressions of TNF-?、CD14、iNOS、eNOS in kupffer cell were explored by immunohistochemical, double-decker chamber was used for observing the damage of hepatocyte caused by cytokine secreted by kupffer via LPS stimulation. Results Tanshinone ⅡA could restore the injury of liver cell induced by D-GlaN and LPS, the levels of ALT、MAO、LDH-L、GSH-S and contents of MDA were significantly reduce. It could inhibit TNF-? IL-8 secreted by kupffer cells through LPS stimulation ,and the expressions of TNF-?、CD14 Inos、eNOS in kupffer cell through LPS stimulation were inhibited. Blocking injuries of the inflammatory cytokine release excessive on liver cell, it hadn′t the protect action on liver cell damage suffer from inflammatory cytokine. Conclusion The mechanism of Tanshinon ⅡA of blocking liver cell injuries induced by D-GlaN and LPS may be correlation with inhibiting the excessive cytokine by kupffer cells

Journal of Medical Research 2006;0(01):-
Objective To investigate the diagnosis and the curative effects of interventional therapy by spiral CT in rupture of hepatocellular carcinoma(HCC). Methods 46 patients were checked by spiral CT and abdominal puncture of non-condensable blood. All the patients were treated by the transcatheter arterial embolization (TAE) with iodinated oil and/or gelatin sponge. Results Characteristic findings were detected in 31 patients,of which 7 patients were chiefly detected by spiral CT. The bleeding of ruptured HCCs was controlled effectively in all the cases treated by TAE without serious complications. Conclusion Spiral CT is susceptive to the diagnosis of the ruptured HCC. TAE can be the chiefly treatment in ruptured HCC with fewer serious complications.

Academic Journal of Second Military Medical University 1981;0(03):-
Single factor analysis of intelligence test of children aged from birth to 12 years in PLA was made. Results showed that the dangerous factors in mental development included twins, low birth weight neonate, premature neonate, severe asphyxia, encephalitis and medium or severe cranium trauma. On the other hand, many factors (single child in family, comfortable family, better educated raiser and the mother's child-bearing age from 25 to 35 years) could promote mental development. It is indicated that children mental health care were closely related to birth control, perinatal health care and improving economical and culture quality of our country.

Objective To analyze the causes of early death in elderly patients undergoing maintenance hemodialysis ( MHD) and major risk factors. Methods A retrospective study was conducted.Fourty-three patients who had undergone MHD between January 2005 and December 2015 and died within 3 -12 months after hemodialysis in the Hemodialysis Center of China Aerospace Center Hospital were included in Group A while 106 patients who had undergone hemodialysis in the same period but survived for over 12 months were selected as control group(Group B).Results The main causes of early death of 43 elderly patients with MHD were cardiovascular ( 46.5%) and cerebrovascular diseases ( 25.6%) (CCVD), and infections(14.0%).The age, proportion of patients with diabetes and CVD,and the proportion of patients using the central venous catheter( CVC) as vascular access were higher in Group A,but the level of hemoglobin and serum albumin was lower.Indicators of cardiac structure and function showed that the left ventricular end-diastolic diameter (LVDd),left ventricular posterior wall thickness(LVPWT),and left ventricular myocardial quality index(LVMI)in Group A were well above those in Group B, but EF and E/A ratio were significantly lower(P<0.05 and P<0.01).COX regression analysis indicated that the comorbidity with CVD, a lower level of serum albumin and EF were the main risk factors for early mortality in elderly patients under MHD.Conclusion The main cause of early death in elderly MHD patients is CCVD.The comorbidity of CVD, malnutrition and decreased left ventricular systolic function might be the main risk factors for early mortality in elderly MHD patients.Early and adequate dialysis, active treatment of underlying diseases, and the correction of hypoalbuminemia can decrease complications, prolong life and improve the quality of life.
