China Pharmacist 2015;(8):1366-1367,1368
To study the efficacy of CAG regimen used in 35 cases of newly diagnosed acute myeloid leukemia in elder-ly patients. Methods:Totally 35 cases of elderly patients with acute myeloid leukemia were randomly divided into two groups. The pa-tients in the control group (15 cases) were treated with standard chemotherapy treatment, while the CAG regimen group (20 cases) was treated with CAG regimen (cytarabine, aclarubicin and granulocyte colony-stimulating factor). After one treatment course, the chemotherapy efficacy was observed, and the neutrophil and platelet recovery time and the incidence of adverse reactions in the two groups were compared. Results:The treatment efficacy of the CAG regimen group was 90%, which was higher than that of the control group (60%, P<0. 05). The neutrophil and platelet recovery time of the CAG regimen group was significantly shorter than that of the control group (P<0. 05). The incidence of adverse reactions in CAG regimen group was much lower than that of the control group(P<0. 05). Conclusion:The efficacy of CAG regimen used in the 35 cases of newly diagnosed acute myeloid leukemia in elderly pa-tients is promising, which can effectively control the progression of the disease and accelerate blood cell recovery with high safety.

Chinese Medical Equipment Journal 2003;0(11):-
Quality control of medical equipment is very important to the diagnostic accuracy and the cure effect. The work of the quality control is the main technical basis of the hospital construction in promoting medical development, and it's also an important content of the modem medical management. The status, causes and countermeasures of medical equipment quality control in military hospital at the present time are analyzed and discussed.

Objective To investigate the effect of artifictal circadian rhythm of melatonin on the postoperative cellular immune function in patients undergoing gynecological operation Methods Eighteen ASA Ⅰ or Ⅱ patients, aged 25-50 yr,weighing 45-80 kg,scheduled for elective gynecological operation, were randomly divided into 3 groups (n =6 each):control group (group C),placebo control group (group P) and melatonin group (group M).In group M.melatonin 6 mg was given orally at 10 min before lights-out (21:00) on 1 day before operation,on the day of operation and on 1 day after operation, while placebo was given orally instead of melatonin in group P.The operation was performed under epidural anesthesia.Patient-controlled epidural analgesia with ropivacaine was used for postoperative analgesia.VAS score was maintained < 5.Blood samples were collected from the peripheral vein at 1 day before operation (baseline),the end of operation and 1 day after operation to measure CD4+,CD8+ and CD3+ cell count by flow cytometry. The ratio of the number of CD4+ cells to the number of CD8+ cells was calculated. Results There were no significant differences in the number of CD4+,CD8+ and CD3 + cells and ratio of the number of CD4 + cells to the number of CD8 + cells between groups C,P and M (P >0.05).Conclusion Artificial circadian rhythm of melatonin exerts no influence on the postoperative cellular immune function in patients undergoing gynecological operation.

Objective To study the effect of matrine on the expression of a proliferation-inducing ligand (APRIL) in colorectal cancer cell line (SW480 cell). Methods MTT assay was used to evaluate the inhibitory effect of matrine on SW480 cells. The protein and mRNA levels of APRIL in SW480 cells were determined by immunohistochemistry and real-time fluorescence quantitative PCR (RFQ-PCR). SW480 cells were treated with 0.5,1.0,2.0 mg/ml of matrine for 24 h, 48 h and 72 h. FU and blank were served as drug control and blank control groups, respectively. Results Matrine had obviously inhibitory effect on proliferation of SW480 cells in a time- and dose-dependant manner. The expression of APRIL was strong in SW480 cells. When treated with 50,100,200 ug/ml of FU, the APRIL mRNA levels in SW480 cells raised gradually and reached the highest levels at 72 h after treatment, which were significantly higher than those in blank control group (all P value<0.001). When treated with 0. 5,1.0, 2.0 mg/ml of matrine, the APRIL mRNA levels in SW480 cells increased at 24 h after treatment, which were significantly higher than those in blank control group (all P value<0. 001), and then decreased gradually and almost equal to level of blank control group at 72 h. Conclusion In treatment with FU, the survival cells.may have stronger ability of proliferation due to higher expression of APRIL in SW480 cells. Anti-APRIL therapy might be an important assistant treatment to counter the impact of APRIL. Matrine will not cause persistent increase of APRIL mRNA levels in SW480 cells, so it might be a helpful drug in anti-tumor theraphy.

Journal of Clinical Otorhinolaryngology Head and Neck Surgery 2013;27(21):1211-1213
OBJECTIVE:
To study the clinical and pathological features of pilomatricoma.
METHOD:
The authors retrospectively investigated the clinical and pathological materials of 399 patients with pilomatricoma.
RESULT:
Single lesion occurred in most patients (99%) and 56.39% of them were younger than 30 years. The male-female ratio was 1:1.33. The lesions which sizes average 1.22 cm were commonly emerged in the head, neck, and upper extremity.
CONCLUSION
Pilomatricoma is a slowly developed benign cutaneous tumour, but it can aggravate sometimes. It's manifestation is diversed and easily misdiagnosed. Early complete excision is recommended for hard or tenacious nodules on head, neck and upper extremity.
