1.AN ANATOMICAL STUDY OF FREE SKIN FLAPS SUPPLIED BY INTERMUSCULAR SEPTAL VESSELS

In addition to the three existing types of skin flaps, supplied by the cutaneous, the myocutaneous and the arterio-reticular vessels, a new type of free skin flap pedicled by the vessels of intermuscular septum was designed. The intermuscular septal arteries are easy to dissect and have relatively longer pedicles. The skin flaps taken from the limbs supplied by these arteries are suitable for grafting in their natural location.The intermuscular septal arteries of the arms and the thighs were studied and measured on 70 adult cadavers and 9 corrosion preparations. The arteries studied were: the superior ulnar collateral arteries, the intermuscular branches of the perforating arteries and the saphenous branches of the highest genicular arteries. The skin flaps supplied by these arteries were studied with regard to their application in surgery and these vessels were believed to be convenient for the microvascular anastomosis during grafting.The practical value of the skin flaps taken from the medial and lateral sides of the arm, the lateral side of the thigh and the medial side of the leg were discussed.
2.Association of lumbar disc herniation with the interaction between environmental factors and Fas/FasL/Caspase-9 apoptosis-associated gene polymorphisms

Objective To investigate the etiologic roles of apoptosis-associated genes,environmental factors and their interactions in lumbar disc herniation (LDH).Methods A case-control trial was conducted.We recruited 128 outpatients with LDH as case group and 132 normal people matched by age and gender as control group.Peripheral venous blood samples were collected and DNA was extracted from leukocytes.By using a modified Brucker Autoflex MALDI-TOF mass spectrometer,we analyzed 3 genes with 9 polymorphic sites,namely,Fas-1377G/A rs2234767,Fas-670G/A rs1800682,Fas rs2147420,Fas rs2296603,Fas rs7901 656,Fas rs1 57101 9,FasL-844C/T rs7631 10,CASP-9-1263A > G rs4645978,and CASP-9-712C > T rs4645981.The correlations between polymorphism of Fas,FasL and CASP-9 genes and the risk of LDH were evaluated by non-conditional Logistic regression model.Multiple Logistic regression model was performed to assess the interaction between apoptosis-associated genes and environment factors,such as lumbar vertebral loads,bed type,spare-time exercises and spare-time activities. Results There were preferable balances in case and control groups in age and gender without significant differences.However,the two groups differed significantly (P <0.05)in lumbar vertebral loads,body mass index, bed type, spare-time exercises and spare-time activities. Correlation analysis showed remarkable correlations between LDH and the polymorphisms of FasL-844C/T (rs7631 10)and CASP-9-1263A>G (rs4645978),and FasL-844C/T TT and CASP-9-1263A>G GG genotypes might be the high risk genotypes of LDH.The gene-environment interaction analysis revealed that super-multiplicative and sub-multiplicative interactions respectively between FasL-844TT genotype and lumbar vertebral loads (3-4 level),and between CASP-9-rs4645978 GG and lumbar vertebral loads (3-4 level).Conclusion FasL,CASP-9 genes and lumbar vertebral loads and their interactions play important roles in the pathogenesis of LDH.It suggests that the risk of LDH may be codetermined by environmental factors and inherited susceptibility genes,and that the mechanisms of interactions vary in different genotypes and the same or different environmental factors.
3.Thoughts and practices of personnel training majoring in Chinese material medica based on the cultural self-confidence of Chinese medicine

Guided by Chinese medicine culture,the strengthening of the cultural self-confidence of Chinese medicine is the cornerstone of the personnel training majoring in Chinese material medica.With the rapid development of modern medicine,the personnel training of the undergraduate students majoring in Chinese material medica in the universities of western medicine is facing several problems,such as lack of cultural identity,lack of professional confidence,unsteadiness of professional thinking,and changes of employment direction.For these problems,based on the main line "Solidify the cultural foundation of Chinese medicine,strengthen the self-confidence of Chinese material medica",our school selected the Chinese medicine cultural traveling,social practices and Chinese medicine employment guidance curriculum as the starting points,and carried out various of lively and vivid activities,which had positive impacts on the learning enthusiasm and professional love of the undergraduate students majoring in Chinese material medica.
4.Development strategy analysis of clinical science and technology innovation park based on PEST-SWOT model

Objective:To formulate sustainable development strategies for the newly-found clinical science and technology innovation park to improve the clinical research and disease diagnosis and treatment.Methods:PEST-SWOT model was used to analyze the internal and external environmental factors that impact the development of the park.Results:The advantages and disadvantages of the park were analyzed as well as the opportunities and challenges. Effective strategies for the construction and development of the park were put forward from four aspects, such as SO, ST, WO and WT.Conclusions:The development strategy proposed in this study is conducive to establish a well-known clinical science and technology innovation park which is an institute integrating clinical and scientific research.
5.Long non-coding RNA Gm15577 is involved in mouse cerebellar neurogenesis.

OBJECTIVETo identify novel lncRNAs involved in cerebellar neurogenesis using neuronal specific Nbs1-deficient (Nbs1(CNS-del)) mouse model.
METHODSMicroarray analysis was performed to identify differentially expressed lncRNAs between Nbs1(CNS-ctr) and Nbs1(CNS-del) mice. Expression profiles of lncRNA Gm15577 and coding gene Negr1 in mice, primary cerebellar culture and cell lines were measured using RT-qPCR. Subcellular fractionation was performed to determine the subcellular localization of Gm15577.
RESULTSGm15577 was specifically expressed in mice cerebellum in a developmentally regulated manner, which could be abolished upon Nbs1-deficiency. Gm15577 was located in the intronic region of Negr1 in a reversed orientation. Gm15577 modulated the RNA expression of Negr1, Shh and β-catenin. NEGR1 had a distinct expression pattern between normal and medulloblastoma patients.
CONCLUSIONGm15577 may modulate cerebellar granule cell proliferation and differentiation by targeting Negr1, and their dysfunctions or abnormal expression may be related to tumorigenesis of medulloblastoma.

6.Association between the 24-hour movement behaviors and executive function in preschoolers

Objective:To explore the characteristics of 24-hour movement in preschoolers and its relationship with executive function.Methods:The study subjects consisted of 555 preschoolers in Zhuhai City. An objective measurement approach was employed, physical activity level was assessed by utilizing accelerometers and executive function was evaluated by computerized behavioral tests.The characteristics of 24-hour movement in children were described.Data were analyzed using SPSS 26.0 software, independent samples t-test was used to compare differences in 24-hour activity behaviors across genders, and multivariate linear regression was used to explore the effect of preschoolers' achievement of activity behaviors on executive functioning. Results:According to the physical activity guideline for Chinese preschoolers aged 3-6 years recommendations for children's daily moderate to vigorous-intensity physical activity, sedentary screen time, and sleep duration, among the study participants, the compliance rate of moderate to vigorous-intensity physical activity (≥60 min/d) was 33.9 %(188/555), sedentary screen time (≤1 h/d) was 43.4%(241/555), and sleep duration (10-13 h/d) was 83.4 %(463/555). Only 13.3 %(74/555) of the participants met the recommended guidelines for all three behaviors. The correct score of the working memory test was (60.6±20.3) and the reaction time of the inhibitory control test was (695.1±135.8) ms. In male preschoolers, moderate to vigorous-intensity physical activity (≥60 min/d) positively predicted working memory( β=0.121, P=0.037), while sedentary screen time (≤1 h/d) negatively predicted inhibitory control ( β=-0.122, P=0.036). Conclusions:The daily compliance rate of moderate to vigorous-intensity physical activity and sedentary screen time is low among preschooler. The former is positively correlated with working memory in preschool boys, while the latter is negatively correlated with inhibitory control.
