Objective: To explore the clinical value of four-dimensional ultrasound imaging in obstetric examination. Methods:Four-dimensional ultrasound was detected by V730 on 60 pregnant women who used ultrasonography in prenatal screening. Results:There were 60 cases in which 20 cases with limb malformation, 15 cases with facial deformity, 12 cases with spinal malformation, 8 cases with abdominal malformation, and 5 cases with chest malformation. Conclusion:Four-dimensional ultrasound can better dynamic observation of fetal surface malformations location, which can provide more worthy information for clinical diagnosis and treatment.

The personality abnormality is a remarkable characteristic in schizophrenia. Some evidence to date indicated that there existed measurable scores of personality traits in schizophrenic patients, though the psychotic symptoms were concomitant. The psychotic symptoms were deemed to influence the assessment of personality traits in schizophrenia for the symptoms and personality abnormality were entangled tightly. Yet, it cannot exclude the personality pathology in the psychopathology of schizophrenia. Moreover, the personality abnormality was related to cognitive deficit, prognosis, and insight in schizophrenics. It was difficult to disentangle the relationship between personality psychopathology and schizophrenia. Spectrum, pathoplasty, and etiology model each could explain the relationship partially. An integrated viewpoint incorporating all three models was discussed. However, it needs further researches to investigate some important issues such as the physiological basis and psychological mechanism of the relationship, the influence of culture on personality assessment.

Objective : To investigate the effects of Mini-SG~ F attachment on periodontal health of the abutment teeth in restoring free-end removable partial dentures (RPDs). Methods : The periodontal status of the abutments in restoring free-end RPDs was longitudinally observed with periodontal indices commonly used in clinics, and a group comparison was made using a one-way analysis of variance (ANOVA). Results: The stability and retention of free-end RPDs retained by Mini-SG~ F attachments were excellent during the whole observation course. Compared with the periodontal status of the first and the second abutments before restoration respectively, no significant differences in gingival indices, plaque indices, periodontal probing depth, alveolar bone resorption levels of those were shown 6 months after restoration. The mobility of the abutments was significantly reduced when they were splinted together. Conclusion: Mini-SG~ F attachments used in free-end RPDs have no evident adverse effect on periodontal health of the abutment teeth, and the way of splinting the abutments is advantageous to their long-term health and stability.

Objective To investigate the probable function of new peptide apelin in pathological proceeding of pulmonary hypertension induced by hypoxia.Methods Twenty male Sprague-Dawley rats were randomly divided into normal control group and hypoxia group(9%-11% O_(2),9 h/d,6 d).The mean of pulmonary arterial pressure(mPAP),mean carotid arterial pressure(mCAP) and the weight ratio of right ventricle to left ventricle plus septum(RV/LV+S) were measured.The concentration of apelin in the plasma,right ventricular myocardium and lung tissue were measured by radioimmunity.The expression of apelin gene in right ventricular myocardium and lung tissue were measured by reverse transcription-polymerase chain raction(RT-PCR).Results The mPAP and RV/(LV+S) of hypoxic group were respectively more by 26.06% and 10.83% than control group(P

Anticoagulants are recommended for the prevention and treatment of a wide variety of thromboembolic events.Although existing anticoagulants are effective,their usage is limited by parenteral administration or the requirement for frequent monitoring and subsequent dose adjustment.Therefore,there is an urgent need for novel,oral agents with a predictable anticoagulant action.Because of its key position in the coagulation cascade and its limited roles outside of coagulation,Factor Xa has presented as an attractive target for novel anticoagulants.As a result,the past decade has witnessed an explosion of research into small-molecule,oral,direct Factor Xa inhibitors,and some are now in clinical development.Rivaroxaban is currently furthest ahead in its developmental program,having entered phase III in 3 indications.It is hoped that,before long,these anticoagulants will allow us to enter an era of convenient,oral anticoagulation,without the need for regular monitoring or dose adjustment.

Objective To assess the therapeutic ef fects of Compound Zaofan Pill (CZP) on aplastic anemia (AA). Methods A prospective randomized control trial was carried out. Thirty_six cases of AA treated with C ZP combined with stanozolol were allocated to Group A and other 30 cases treated with levamisole, prednisone, stanozolol and folacin served as Group B. Hemoglob in content, leukocyte and platelet counts were detected. Results The total e ffective rate was higher in G roup A (86%) than that in Group B ( 53.5% ), the differences bein g significant (P
