Objective To summarize the experience of microsurgical repair of soft tissue defects in 136 cases with firearm wound,to probe into repairing defect methods in different parts and to improve repairing results Methods According to the location,area of soft tissue defects or special needs,dorsalis pedis flap,latissimus dorsi flap,thoracoumbilical flap,forearm flap,lateral leg flap,tensor fascia lata flap or compound tissue flap were used to repair 136 cases with soft tissue defects in the firearm wound Results All 136 cases with soft tissue defects were repaired successfully Conclusions Microsurgical technique is a good method to repair soft tissue defects and reconstruct function in the firearm wound

Recently, researches had also focused on the significant activity of smoke water in improving the yield and quality of medicinal plants, which provided new ideas for increasing the medicinal plants yield and quality. In this paper, physiological effects, active component, and mechanism of smoke water and its application in medicinal plants were summarized, which can be used as references of more value for the further development of medicinal plants.

Ac.) by American National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM). In the light of NCCAOM Certification Handbook, Foundations of Oriental Medicine Expanded Content Outline,and Foundations of Oriental Medicine Study Guide, the authors introduced the examination pattern and examination-related contents including: Clinical diagnostic methods; assessment, analysis, and pattern-differentiation based upon Oriental Medicine theory and treatment principle and strategy.

Objective To observe the effect of Shenfu injection on fluid intake volume of resuscitation therapy for patients with septic shock. Methods The clinic data of 36 patients with septic shock admitted to Department of Critical Care Medicine of the Affiliated Hospital of Hangzhou Normal University from June 2010 to June 2013 were retrospectively analyzed. All the patients were treated with western conventional medicine. Twenty cases treated with western medicine combined with Shenfu injection (intravenous drip 100 mL once daily, half of a month was a therapeutic course) were defined as Shenfu group; the rest 16 cases treated with western medicine only were assigned as control group. The following data after treatment for 6, 24, and 72 hours in the two groups were compared:liquid intake and urine volumes, system vascular resistance index (SVRI), mean arterial pressure (MAP), cardiac index (CI), and case fatality rate in 28 days. Results There were no significant differences in the liquid intake volume in 6 hours after treatment (mL:3 101±219 vs. 3 329±295, P>0.05), the urine volumes in 6, 24 and 72 hours after treatment (mL, 6 hours:701±229 vs. 651±292, 24 hours:1 870±566 vs. 1 697±618, 72 hours:7 396±2 546 vs. 5 987±2 497), and the levels of SVRI in 24 hours after treatment between Shenfu group and control group (kPa·s·L-1·m-2:802±158 vs. 741±106, all P>0.05). The total liquid intake volumes (mL) in 24 hours and 72 hours after treatment in Shenfu group were significantly less than those in the control group (24 hours:4 544±425 vs. 4 996±396, 72 hours:10 985±891 vs. 11 612±807, both P<0.05). The SVRI, MAP, and CI in 72 hours of Shenfu group were significantly higher than those of control group [SVRI (kPa·s·L-1·m-2): 1 361±182 vs. 1 163±183, MAP (mmHg, 1 mmHg = 0.133 kPa): 76.2±6.1 vs. 71.8±6.3, CI (mL·s-1·m-2):76.2±7.5 vs. 70.8±7.2, all P<0.05], and the 28-day mortality rate in Shenfu group was significantly lower than that of control group [25.0%(5/20) vs. 62.5%(10/16), P<0.05]. Conclusion The application of Shenfu injection was favorable to the reduction of liquid intake volume in 72 hours after treatment that may be beneficial to the fluid limitation management in the course of treatment for septic shock.

Working out the principle on the connotation and extension of acupuncture at present will contribute to better inherit and development of acupuncture. In this paper, through literature analysis, the study on the process of formation and development of acupuncture, we believe connotation of acupuncture and moxibustion mainly include the basic theory of TCM, meridians theory, diagnosis, techniques, clinics, and literatures of acupuncture and moxibustion;and its extension include basic integrated medicine of acupuncture and moxibustion, physiology, pathology, and theories, techniques and clinics derived from modern science.

Objective To provide anatomical basis for the thigh medial neurocutaneous vascular flap pedicled with descending genicular artery perforators. Methods ① The course and distribution of thigh medial cutaneous nerve. ②Anastomosis between descending genicular artery perforators and thigh medial neurocutaneous vascular, were observed on 40 specimens of adult lower limb perfused with red latex. Mimic operation was performed on one side of fresh specimen. Results ①The line between the midpoint of inguinal ligament and medial femoral condyle can be considered as the projection on body surface of thigh medial cutaneous nerve. ②Perforating branches of descending genicular artery (infrapatellar branch )started from the lower edge of medial femoral condyle about 4 cm, and passed through the deep fascia in which the triangle depression surrounded by the vastus medialis muscle, adductor tendon and the medial femoral condyle to the subcutaneous. They also separated large number of small blood vessels, which closely aligned with the perineural and neural stem vascular chain of thigh medial cutaneous nerve. Then they formated vascular plexus in the upper part of thigh along the thigh medial cutaneous nerve longitudinal axis. Conclusion The thigh medial neurocutaneous vascular flap pedicled with descending genicular artery perforators can be formed to repair soft tissue defect around knee joint.

Objective To study the effects of community comprehensive intervention model on osteoporosis, in order to provides a reference for osteoporosis health education work. Methods A multistage stratified random cluster sampling was applied to conduct a survey in Jiangsu province, in accordance with the economic level and geographic location. Nanjing, Nantong and Xuzhou cities were sampled, three urban streets were sampled in every district , respectively. A total of 1 500 40-69 years old community residents were screened, 619 high-risk participants for osteoporosis were arranged into the intervention group, and a total of 590 residents from the same communities were chosen as control group, who were gender- and age-matched with the intervention group. The intervention group residents received health management and comprehensive intervention, after half a year, a self-designed questionnaire was used to investigate the effects. Results Compared with control group, after six months, knowledge of intervention group related to osteoporosis awareness was improved significantly, such as the most serious harm to human body for osteoporosis (χ2=24.27), characteristic of osteoporosis (χ2=11.05), basic supplements to improve bone health (χ2=60.65) , the recommended daily calcium intake to postmenopausal women and the elderly (χ2=26.80), the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05); daily behavior related to diet and exercise of intervention group has improved significantly, such as drinking milk or itsproducts less than 3 days a week (χ2=25.83), eating beans and products for less than 3 days a week (χ2=19.20), drinking coffee for more than three days a week (χ2=7.77), not often taking outdoor activities (χ2=18.55) ,(P<0.05);Diseases and symptoms related to osteoporosis in intervention group was significantly reduced (P<0.001). Conclusions The osteoporosis is one of the most important public health problem for Jiangsu province, the work for osteoporosis prevention and control should be emphasized in community.

ObjectiveTo investigate the type,characteristics and development trend of prehospital medical care of sudden mass incident from 2001 to 2010 in Guangzhou.MethodsThe data of prehospital medical care of sudden mass incident in Guangzhou from 2001 to 2010 were come from the database of 120 Emergency Center.ResultsTotal 6 807 events of Sudden mass incident were recorded from 2001 to 2010,resulting in 26 749 injuries and 917 deaths.In all kinds of sudden mass incident,traffic accident was primary cause ( the number of cases,injuries and deaths accounted for 49.80％,55.29％ and 61.72％,respectively),followed by fighting,fire and poisoning.Over the past decade,the number of occurrence of traffic accidents and the number of injuries were increasing.The large sudden mass incident was 76.65％ in all levels of sudden mass incident happened from 2008 to 2010.Conclusions Traffic accident is an important cause of sudden mass incident in Guangzhou from 2001 to 2010.The number of the traffic accident cases and injuries were increasing.The large sudden mass incident was the main type in all levels of sudden mass incident.It is important to improve the emergency plan,strengthen the training of medical staff and organize the medical rescue drill of sudden mass incident regularly.
