ObjectiveTo analyze the diversity and structural characteristics of microbial communities in the rhizosphere soil of healthy and diseased Andrographis paniculata and to explore the interactions of soil, plants, and microorganisms during the occurrence of diseases. MethodsThe physicochemical properties of the rhizosphere soil of healthy and diseased A.paniculata were determined, and the composition and diversity of bacterial and fungal communities in the rhizosphere soil were analyzed by Illumina high-throughput sequencing. Furthermore, the correlations between physicochemical properties and microorganisms of the rhizosphere soil were explored. ResultsThe content of total nitrogen, total potassium, and available potassium in the rhizosphere soil of diseased A. paniculata was significantly higher than that of healthy A. paniculata. The alpha diversity and richness (operational taxonomic units) of bacterial and fungal communities in the rhizosphere soil of diseased plants decreased compared with those of healthy plants. The microbial communities in the rhizosphere soil of healthy and diseased A. paniculata showed similar composition but different relative abundance. At the phylum level, the relative abundance of Proteobacteria and Chytridiomycota significantly increased, while that of Bacteroidota significantly decreased in the rhizosphere soil of diseased plants. At the genus level, the relative abundance of Sphingomonas, Pseudomonas, and Bryobacter significantly increased, while that of RB41 showed a significant decrease in the rhizosphere soil of diseased plants. The correlation analysis showed different correlations of microbial phyla with physicochemical properties of the rhizosphere soil between healthy and diseased plants. Organic matter, alkaline nitrogen, available phosphorus, and total potassium were correlated with the relative abundance of some dominant bacterial and fungal phyla in the rhizosphere soil of healthy plants, while available nitrogen and total phosphorus were correlated with the relative abundance of some dominant bacterial and fungal phyla in the rhizosphere soil of diseased plants. ConclusionThere are differences in the diversity and richness of microbial communities in the rhizosphere soil of healthy and diseased A. paniculata. The physicochemical properties of soil may have an impact on the rhizosphere microorganisms of A. paniculata, leading to the development of diseases. The results provide a scientific basis for the prevention and ecological management of A. paniculata diseases.

Five meroterpenoids, rhodonoids K-M (1-2), daurichromene E (3), and grifolins A-B (4-5), together with seven known compounds (6-12), were isolated from Rhododendron anthopogonoides. The chemical structures of these compounds were elucidated through comprehensive analysis of high-resolution electrospray ionization mass spectrometry (HR-ESI-MS), ultraviolet (UV), infrared spectroscopy (IR), and nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR) data. Their absolute configurations were determined by comparing experimental electronic circular dichroism (ECD) spectra with computed values. Notably, compounds 1 and 3 demonstrated significant inhibitory effects on lipopolysaccharide (LPS)-induced inflammation in RAW264.7 cells. These compounds markedly suppressed the mRNA expressions of inflammatory factors, including interleukin (IL)-1β, IL-6, and tumor necrosis factor-α (TNF-α) while also down-regulating the protein expressions of inducible nitric oxide synthase (iNOS) and cyclooxygenase-2 (COX-2).

Objective:To conduct scoping review on relevant studies on the application of telehealth in the disease prevention of pre-diabetic patients, in order to identify the main forms, content elements and application effects of telehealth and provide evidence for medical workers to carry out relevant intervention. Methods:Relevant studies were systematically searched in PubMed, Web of Science, Embase, Cochrane Library, National Knowledge Infrastructure, VIP, Wanfang database and China Biology Medicine disc. The search time was from the establishment of the databases to December 6, 2023. The included studies were summarized and analyzed. Results:A total of 33 literatures were included. The results showed that the main forms of telehealth included network communication software, applications, portable electronic devices, website platforms and artificial intelligence. The contents of telehealth mainly involved health education, data monitoring, peer support, personalized programs and psychological guidance. The outcome indexes of telehealth were physiological indexes, disease management indexes, exercise indexes, diet indexes, experience indexes and psychological indexes. Conclusions:Network communication software and application programs are the main forms of telehealth for pre-diabetic patients and multi-element and all-round telehealth services can enhance the application experience of patients. The effect of telehealth has initially appeared, but it needs to be verified for a long time.

Sarcopenia, also known as"oligomyositis""hypomyositis"and"muscle wasting",is an age-related geriatric syndrome characterized by decreased muscle mass, muscle strength and function decline. It can increase the risk of adverse out-comes such as physical disability, poor quality of life, and death. The pathogenic factors of sarcopenia mainly include older age, diseases, lack of exercise, malnutrition, etc. As one of the key factors affecting sarcopenia, the nutritional status of the body play an important role in the development of sarcopenia. Therefore, this paper reviews the role of nutrition in sarcopenia and nutritional interventions for patients with common chronic diseases combined with sarcopenia, aiming to provide a basis for the developing more scientific and rationalized nutritional intervention program for elderly patients with sarcopenia.

Abstract
Vaccination is the most effective prevenative measure against infectious diseases. As guardians of minor children, parental attitudes have a decisive influence on children s vaccination. Therefore, it is very important to understand parental attitudes and preference towards the vaccination of minor children in COVID-19 for the successful implementation of vaccination. In this study, the current situation and associated factors of parental COVID-19 vaccine hesitancy for children. It was found that parental vaccine hesitation was mainly influenced by factors related to parents, children, vaccination and information process. Parents should be guided to obtain information through authoritative channels and treat vaccination correctly. At the same time, medical staff should play an important role in health education, submit correct immunisation information, reduce vaccine hesitancy, and promote herd immunity.

Chinese Critical Care Medicine 2022;34(7):773-776
Acute respiratory distress syndrome (ARDS), a common respiratory critical illness with multiple causes, is associated with high mortality. The high degree of heterogeneity may be the reason why it is lack of highly specific and sensitive biological biomarkers. Therefore, it is an urgent need to explore biomarkers, perform phenotypic analysis and establish risk stratification model for diagnosis, prognosis, and treatment of ARDS. Endothelial cells specificity molecular-1 (ESM-1, endocan), is a soluble dermatan sulfate proteoglycan, and be involved in regulating biological behaviors such as cell proliferation, differentiation and migration. Numerous studies have confirmed that ESM-1 is closely related to inflammation, endothelial activation and dysfunction. However, the role of ESM-1 in the initiating and developing process of ARDS is still unclear. To provide a scientific basis for its clinical applications in ARDS, such as early prognosis assessment and timely prevent strategies, this paper focuses on the biological properties and the clinical value of ESM-1 as a potential biomarker for ARDS.

This article investigated an occupational chemical poisoning incident that occurred in a certain place in Guangdong Province in September 2020, detected the air at the scene, and analyzed the clinical data of the poisoned patients. The peripheral blood methanol concentrations of the three patients were 307.76 mg/L, 354.80 mg/L and 454.14 mg/L when they were admitted to the hospital. The raw and auxiliary materials were analyzed for volatile organic components. Methyl acetate was detected in the finished glue, synthetic resin and compound machine post glue in the glue room, and the relative percentages were 23.05%, 32.79% and 31.68%, respectively. Through comprehensive analysis, it was judged that this incident was an acute occupational methyl acetate poisoning incident, and 3 workers were poisoned.
