1.Progress in biomarkers of cyclosporine A associated nephrotoxicity
International Journal of Pediatrics 2015;42(3):287-290
Cyclosporine A (CsA)has been widely used in steroid-dependent and steroid-resistant nephrotic syndrome as a common drug. However, renal toxicity can often occur at the same time which limited the use of CsA.CsA can lead to acute and chronic renal damage, ischemic renal tissue inflammation, and fibrosis.Currently in clinical practice, urine micro proteins and serum creatinine have been used to monitor CsA associated nephrotoxicity. However, this method cannot detect CsA associated renal damage in early stage. At present,a hot topic about CsA focuses on looking for a better non-invasive and sensitive way to monitoring CsA associated nephrotoxicity. This article reviews the current progress of known acute kidney injury biomarkers in momtoring CsA associated nephrotoxicity.

Tumor 2010;(2):134-137
Objective:To study the alteration of K-ras mutations in different stages of colorectal cancer(CRC) and its influence on the progression of CRC. Methods:The 20 paraffin-embedded tissues, including primary foci, metastatic lymph nodes, remoter metastatic foci, colorectal adenoma, and normal colorectal tissues, were collected from 20 patients with colorectal cancer. The sequence of PCR-amplified products were analyzed. Results:The wild K-ras gene was expressed in normal colorectal tissues. The mutation frequency of K-ras gene was 20.0% (4/20) in colorectal adenoma, 30.0% (6/20) in primary foci, 25.0% (5/20) in metastatic lymph nodes, and 30% (6/20) in remote metastatic lesions. In the samples with K-ras mutations, the consistency of the types of K-ras mutations between primary foci and colorectal carcinoma, lymph node metastatic lesions, remote metastatic lesions was 0.0%(0/4), 40.0%(2/5), and 50.0%(3/6), respectively. Conclusion:The colorectal adenoma, metastatic lymph nodes and remote metastatic lesions were not suited for K-ras analysis as routine samples in clinical practice. If the samples of primary lesions were not available, the detection results of metastatic lymph nodes and remote metastatic remote lesions will provide some reference values. K-ras gene had several different mutations in the progression of CRC.

OBJECTIVE:To evaluate the stability of 12 kinds of submicro emulsion in market, and screen the test method for the stability. METHODS:12 kinds of submicro emulsion in market were selected, high pressure sterilization (121 ℃,30 min), high speed centrifugation(4000 r/min,15 min),accelerated test [placing 6 months under temperature of(40±2)℃,relative hu-midity of (75 ± 5)%] were conducted to investigate the pH,particle size and other indexes, and SPSS 22.0 was used to analyze the distribution variance and chi-square test, and investigate the correlation of 3 evaluation methods. RESULTS:In terms of stabili-ty investigation, the pH value of 12 kinds of submicro emulsion decreased to some extent after accelerated test, average particle size of 6 kinds of submicro emulsion samples were greater than 300 nm,the variance of the particle size distribution of 9 kinds ap-peared in 0.05-0.15,the chi-square test results of 8 kinds distributed below 1. The average particle size of 4 kinds of submicro emul-sions changed more than 10 nm after accelerated test. In terms of stability test method,Pearson chi-square progressive significance of high pressure sterilization and accelerated test was 0.665,which was higher than 0.05,indicating there was no correlation (no significance),the stability results of high pressure sterilization can not represent the results of accelerated test;that of high speed centrifugation and accelerated test was 0.004,which was lower than 0.05,indicating stability results between high speed centrifuga-tion and accelerated test results were significantly correlated. CONCLUSIONS:The submicro emulsion in market can meet the re-quirements of stability. To a certain extent, high speed centrifugation can replace the acceleration test.

China Journal of Chinese Materia Medica 2009;34(3):251-254
In the guidance of system theory, using Multidisciplinary technology to study on the combination of Chinese traditional and western medicine, helps to promote fingding the common points between the Chinese traditional and western medicine. In this article, it intends to create mathematical model and analysis of correlation between Chinese medicinal characteristics and neurobehavioral effects based on literature informatics. The numbers of the Chinese medicines with neurobehavioral effects were worked out within the frame work of 'The China Pharmacopeia' of 2005 edition, from the literature publicized since 1980. The correlation and mathematical model were figured outbetween Chinese medicinal characteristics including traditional functional classification, different tastes as well as channel tropism and immunoregulatory activity based on the statistical software SPSS. The results showed that the neurobehavioral effects was related to the qi-invigorating drugs, yang-invigorating herbs, blood-invigorating herbs, resuscitative drugs and kidney meridian herbs, tastes mild of Chinese medicines (P<0.05). It also accords with the theory of 'Kidney produce marrow' of TCM, The coincidencewas 82.8% between mathematical computing and original classification. There are correlations between Chinese medicinal characteristics and neurobehavioral effects. The mathematical model based on these results can be used for studing of neurobehavioral effects and clinical treatment.
