Objective To monitor the lithium level in serum of patients who has taken lithium carbonate and analyze its influencing factor,to explore the relationship between lithium level in serum and chronic lithium intoxication.Methods The lithium level was determined by electrolytic analyzer with electrode method and results from September in 2011 to September in 2012 were retrospectively analyzed.Results The lithium levels of 252 cases were 56cases (22％) under 0.6mmol/L,188 cases (75 ％) between 0.6-1.2mmol/L and 8 cases (3％) above 1.2mmol/L.179 cases (71％) were effective and 69 cases (27 ％) were ineffective,4 cases (2％) showed lithium toxic.The clinical therapeutic effect was improved with the concentration gradually in creasing,and the poisoning rate was getting higher.Plasma lithium concentration is closely related to hyperlipoidemia,hemolysis,nephropathy and the incidence seasons.Conclusion We should attach importance to the therapy drug monitoring dosage,clinical feature,and removing influencing factor which are the basis to guide the clinical medication.This way can adjust the dosage for individual administration.

Anti-phospholipid antibody and lupus anticoagulant appear in the blood of patients with human immunodeficiency virus (HIV)infection,which result in the increased levels of von Willebrand factor and D-dimer,and decreased the levels of protein S,protein C,antithrombin and heparin cofactor,and thus rgsult in hypercoagulation status.In addition,the HIV infection itself and secondary opportunistic infections may also cause endothelial injury.Both hypercoag ulation status and endothelial injury may promote the occurrence of thrombotic diseases.

Objective To explore the influence of hospital- based transitional care on the rehabilita-tion of patients with enterostomy, and provide evidence- based reference for specialist care of the enterostomy patients. Methods The randomized controlled trials on the hospital- based transitional care in enterostomy patients were collected by computer using China National Knowledge Infrastructure Database, Chinese Science Technology Periodical Database, Wanfang Periodical Database, Foreign Medical Information Resources Database and PubMed from the building of the database till December 2014, and analyzed by RevMan 5.2 software. Results Sixteen articles were included in the study, involving 1 263 patients with enterostomy. The results of Meta- analysis revealed that the incidence of complications in transitional care patients was lower than that in conventional discharge guidance patients, odds ratio(95% confidence interval) was 0.31 (0.21-0.45), the difference was significant (Z=6.02, P<0.01), and the quality of life was raised (including the physical function, cognitive function, role function, emotional functions, social function and the total quality of life), weighted mean differences (95% confidence interval) were 13.81 (8.23-19.39), 22.00 (17.21-26.79), 15.22(11.71-18.73), 16.68(13.01-20.35), 22.60(16.58-28.62), 17.46(13.53-21.38),the differences were significant(P<0.01). Conclusions The transitional care model giving priority to hospital service resources can provide a higher level professional care for patients after enterostomy, and avoid or reduce the complications, promote the recovery earlier as well as constantly improve the quality of life.

OBJECTIVE:To establish an RP-HPLC method for content determination of s-omeprazole sodium and its related substances.METHODS:The separation of s-omeprazole sodium and the related substances was carried out on a Phenomenex Luna C18 column,the mobile phase consisted of methanol-0.033 mol?L-1 ammonium dihydrogen phosphate-triethylamine (58∶41.8∶0.2,adjusted to pH 7.0 by phosphate acid).The detection wavelength was 302 nm,the flow rate was 1.0 mL?min-1,the column temperature was 25 ℃,and the sample size was 20 ?L.RESULTS:The linear range of omeprazole sodium was 10～500 mg?L-1 (r=0.999 7).The average recovery rate was 100.27% (RSD=0.74%).The average content of the related substances in samples was 0.42%.CONCLUSION:This method is simple,accurate,specific and applicable for content determination of s-omeprazole sodium and its related substances.

OBJECTIVE:To establishment the method for the determination of content of vitamin A palmitate(VAP) and its related substances by HPLC. METHODS:The HPLC conditions were consisted of Phenomenex Luna C18 column with a mobile phase of a mixture of acetonitrile-isopropanol (90∶10) ,the detection wavelength of 328 nm,the column temperature of 30 ℃ and the flow rate of 1.0 mL?min-1. RESULTS:VAP was completely separated from impurities,the linearity range was 90～400 mg?L-1(r=0.999 2). The average recovery rate was 99.60% (RSD=1.32%). The average content of the related substances were lower than 2.53% . CONCLUSION: This accurate and reliable HPLC method is applicable for the quality control of VAP.

Objective:To explore the consistency of peripheral whole blood and venous serum procalcitonin (PCT) levels, and the value of peripheral whole blood PCT in evaluating pediatric bacterial infection.Methods:This multicenter cross-sectional parallel control study was conducted in 11 children′s hospital. All the 1 898 patients older than 28 days admitted to these hospitals from March 2018 to February 2019 had their peripheral whole blood and venous serum PCT detected simultaneously with unified equipment, reagent and method. According to the venous serum PCT level, the patients were stratified to subgroups. Analysis of variance and chi-square test were used to compare the demographic characteristics among groups. And the correlation between the peripheral blood and venous serum PCT level was investigated by quantitative Pearson correlation analysis.The PCT resultes were also converted into ranked data to further test the consistency between the two sampling methods by Spearman′s rank correlation test. Furthermore, the ranked data were converted into binary data to evaluate the consistency and investigate the best cut-off of peripheral blood PCT level in predicting bacterial infection.Results:A total of 1 898 valid samples were included (1 098 males, 800 females),age 27.4(12.2,56.7) months. There was a good correlation between PCT values of peripheral whole blood and venous serum ( r=0.97 , P<0.01). The linear regression equation was PCT?venous serum=0.135+0.929×PCT peripheral whole blood. However, when stratified to 5 levels, PCT results showed diverse and unsatisfied consistency between the two sampling methods ( r=0.51-0.92, all P<0.01). But after PCT was converted to ordinal categorical variables, the stratified analysis showed that the coincidence rate of the measured values by the two sampling methods in each boundary area was 84.9%-97.1%. The dichotomous variables also showed a good consistency (coincidence rate 96.8%-99.3%, Youden index 0.82-0.89). According to the severity of disease, the serum PCT value was classified into 4 intervals（<0.5、0.5-<2.0、2.0-<10.0、≥10.0 μg/L）, and the peripheral blood PCT value also showed a good predictive value (AUC value was 0.991 2-0.997 9). The optimal cut points of peripheral whole blood PCT value 0.5、1.0、2.0、10.0 μg/L corresponding to venous serum PCT values were 0.395, 0.595, 1.175 and 3.545 μg/L, respectively. Conclusions:There is a good correlation between peripheral whole blood PCT value and the venous serum PCT value, which means that the peripheral whole blood PCT could facilitate the identification of infection and clinical severity. Besides, the sampling of peripheral whole blood is simple and easy to repeat.

Terpine-4-ol is abundant in nature. As a cyclic monoterpenoid compound， terpine-4-ol is distributed in a variety of natural plants. It is the main component and the key active substance in many traditional Chinese essential oils， such as Melaleuca alba essential oil and coral ginger essential oil. Terpine-4-ol has anti-microbial， anti-tumor， insecticidal， anti-inflammatory， and other effects. It can treat cancer， as well as oral and cardiovascular diseases with great safety. In terms of antibacterial activity， terpine-4-ol can destroy bacterial cell walls， improve membrane permeability， and regulate bacterial migration， reproduction， and other related genes to inhibit bacterial activity. In terms of antifungal activity， terpine-4-ol can bind with ergosterol in fungal cell walls to cause fungal death. In terms of insecticidal activity， terpine-4-ol can inhibit Na⁺ and K⁺-ATPase activity and cause the death of the insect. In terms of anticancer activity， terpine-4-ol can regulate the expression of apoptosis-related proteins in cancer cells， so as to control the apoptosis of cancer cells. In this paper， the pharmacological activity and action mechanism of terpine-4-ol were reviewed to provide a reference for further research and utilization of terpine-4-ol.
