1.The research progress of anti-tumor effects of interleukin-21
Tumor 2010;(3):261-264
Interleukin-21 (IL-21) is a recently discovered cytokine with immunomodulatory activity. It is a new member of the IL-2 family and mainly secreted by the activated CD4~+ T cells. IL-21 can promote proliferation, differentiation and function of T cells, natural killer (NK) cells, and B cells after binding with its receptor, thereby effectively strengthen the innate immunity and acquired immunity. The antitumor activity of IL-21 has been demonstrated in several tumor models. Its phase Ⅱ trials is being carried out in metastatic melanoma and renal cell carcinoma. IL-21 has a broad application prospects in the treatment of malignant tumors. Here, we review the anti-tumor effects of IL-21 and the application foreground of combination of IL-21 with other drugs in future tumor immunotherapy.

AIM: To investigate the processing and HPLC fingerprint of Radix Scutellariae processed with wine, and to set up appropriate quanlity control standard. METHODS: chromatographic condition of HPLC-UV fingerprint consisted of Hypersil C_18 column(200 mm?5.0 mm,5 ?m),mixture of methanol,0.4% phosphoric acid and acetonitrile as a mobile phase in a gradient mode.Flow rate was 1.0 mL/min and detection wavelength was set at 277 nm. RESULTS: There were no evident differences among fingerprints of Radix Scutellariae that was normatively processed from the production areas. CONCLUSION: The process is feasible, and can be used to provide a basis for quanlity control of Radix Scutellariae.

Objective To analyze psychological stress level and features of recruits in training camp. Methods Psychological stress self-evaluation test (PSET) was applied to 1 600 recruits in training camp. Results ①There were 64 recruits(64/1600,4%) who had high level of psychological stress(T score ≥70).②The psychological stress symptoms of recruits in training camp mainly manifested as increased alertness (87.7%),sleep deprivation (57.6%),mental and physical fatigue (48.7%) and nervous irritability (45.2%).③Psychological stress levels of recruits with different ages and different levels of self-feeling in camp had significant differences(P<0.05).Conclusion Recruits in training camp have partly excessive psychological stress responses, targeted emergency decompression trainings should be carried out in recruits.

OBJECTIVETo evaluate efficacy and optimal cut-off-point through cerebral vascular hemodynamic indexes (CVHI) examination to predict stroke.
METHODSA number of 20,333 people at 35 years old and over were checked by CVHI and accumulative score was calculated according to the value of detected indexes. Risk factors of stroke were investigated simultaneously. One hundred and sixty-eight patients with stroke occurred during 4-year following up. Typical syndromes and signs stroke were used as golden standard to evaluate screening efficacy of CVHI.
RESULTSScore of optimal cut-off-point of cerebral vascular hemodynamic indexes was under 75 in ROC curve analyses. Sensitivity, specificity, accuracy, positive and negative predictive values, positive and negative likelihood ratios as well as Youden's index for predicting stroke within 4 years after examination were found to be 87.50%, 67.70%, 67.86%, 2.21%, 99.85%, 2.71, 0.18 and 0.55 respectively. Sensitivity and positive predict values for predicting cerebral vascular thrombosis were superior to predicting cerebral hemorrhage. Positive predicting value in risk exposure population was higher than that of overall population. Coefficiency of variation of cerebral vascular hemodynamic examination was 4.03%. The agreement rate of examination between two physicians was 97.62% and Kappa value was 0.94.
CONCLUSIONThe score of optimal cut-off-point of cerebral vascular hemodynamic indexes examination was 75. Both Efficacy and reliability for predicting stroke seemed to be good, especially for predicting cerebral vascular thrombosis.

Modern Hospital 2024;24(1):80-83
Objective The rapid growth of data exchange and information volume in hospital information systems has brought significant challenges to the operation, maintenance, and service performance of the system. In order to overcome the performance bottleneck of the software and improve the response performance of the hospital information system, our hospital has tentatively introduced the Exadata database machine. Methods The machine was launched through hardware parameter selec-tion,high availability testing, and data migration. The benefits were evaluated by comparing the I/O operation time,SQL state-ment execution time, and business system module loading time before and after the launch. Results After using this machine, the overall waiting time of I/O operations decreased by 83.47% ,the execution time of the same statement decreased by over 22% ,and the average loadingtime of the business system decreased by43.74% .Conclusion The database machine can effec-tively reduce query time, accelerate the running speed of business modules, and help improve the performance of hospital infor-mation systems.

In order to assist in the standardization and maturity evaluation of national hospital information interconnection, and further standardize the application and management of hospital medical record data, a hospital carried out the practice of design of structured medical records and the corresponding quality management from April 2021. Based on the six sigma quality management method, the hospital had developed universal templates for electronic medical records and a list of candidate electronic medical record templates. The problems faced by medical record data had been analyzed, and improvement strategies had been proposed from three levels: template design, software functionality and management services. The clinical departments were guided to design and develop various structured electronic medical record templates for specialties and specialized diseases, and established a medical record template design and quality management method. The hospital had ultimately designed a total of 614 structured electronic medical record templates that met the actual needs of the hospital. This practice enhanced the scalability of structured templates and quality of the data, and achieved localization and specialization of medical record templates while meeting the requirements of information interconnection and sharing, providing reference for promoting the interconnection and sharing of electronic medical records of hospitals in China.
