1.A Modified Culture Method for Porcine Pulmonary Trunk Smooth Muscle Cells
Acta Medicinae Universitatis Scientiae et Technologiae Huazhong 2000;29(5):383-384
The culture method for porcine pulmonary artery smooth muscle cells (PASMCs) established previously in our laboratory was modified as follows: (1) PASMC mixed medium (PASMCMM) containing 400 ml/L PASMC conditioned medium and 100 ml/L fetal bovine serum (FBS) was substituted for M199 medium containing 100 ml/L FBS; (2) When the PASMC was confluent by 90 %, the subculture was done at the time between the phase of logarithmic growth and stagnation phase of the cells; (3) The method of subculture: The cells were dispersed with 5 to 8 drops of a mixed digestive solution per flash, then M199 medium containing 100 ml/L newborn calf serum was added to terminate the digestion. The cells attached to the substrate of the flashes. On the 2nd day, the media were changed by PASMCMM. The cultured PASMCs by this method were characterized by rapid growth and good dispersion, etc.. The doubling time of the cells (45.6 h) by this method was 11.2 h shorter than that (56.8 h) by the previously established method in our laboratory. The modified culture method for PASMC was more simple, practical and effective, so it can be used as an effecrive method for rapidly harvesting large quantities of PASMCs.
2.The influence of curative effect and cellular immune function in patients with recurrent genital herpes by two methods
Chinese Journal of Primary Medicine and Pharmacy 2008;15(5):734-735
Objective To explore the influence of the treatment and T-cell subsets in patients with recurrent genital herpes (RGH) by two treatment methods. Methods 64 cases of RGH patients were randomly divided int0 2 groups: 32 patients in the unite treatment group, the control group of 32 patients. Control group oral valaciclovir. The unite treatment group of oral valaciclovir tablets, in addition, also accepted mycobacterium phle injection treatment. All the patients before and after treatment were analyzed by flow cytometry using T-cell subsets. Results In the unite treatment group after treatment RGH relapse frequency [(1.01±0.79)] than that of the control group [(2.53±0.93)] was significantly decreased (P<0.001). In the unite treatment group after treatment CD+4 T cells and CDCD+4/CDCD+8 ratio than the control group were significantly increased (P<0.05), CD+8 cells compared with the control group was significantly decreased (P<0.05). Conclusion The cellular immunity is abnormal in RGH patients and it plays an important role in pathogenesis of RGH. Mycobacterium phle may enhance cellular immunity of the patients and these patients treated with it showed some better effects.
3.Brief on the standardization of the practitioner's posture in acupuncture operation.
Chinese Acupuncture & Moxibustion 2015;35(7):691-694
To discuss the standardization of the practitioner's posture in acupuncture operation. Based on the relevant discussion on 'way to holding needle' recorded in Lingshu (Miraculous Pivot) and in association with the clinical acupuncture practice, it was required to standardize the practitioner's posture in acupuncture operation in reference to Lingshu (Miraculous Pivot). The standard standing posture of the practitioner is the precondition of acupuncture operation; the standard holding needle with the puncture hand is the key to the exercise of acupuncture technique and the regular standing orientation is the need of acupuncture operation. The three aspects are complemented each other, which is the coordinative procedure in acupuncture operation and enable the practitioner's high concentration with the body, qi and mind involved.

China Medical Equipment 2016;13(8):91-93
Objective:Uninterrupted power supply (UPS) has been widely used in hospital. Hospital medical equipment, information and monitoring equipment run mostly 24 hours without interrupt. To explore hospital monitoring and management of uninterruptible power supply (UPS), rescue patients well, protect all kinds of data and ensure the safety of the medical personnel and hospital property. Methods:This article mainly analyzed some problems including the definition, basic principle, classification, function, risks and management, in order to find out the solutions. Results: Through the analysis the problems, a set of feasible measures for the monitoring and management were made up to eliminate hidden danger in use and ensure medical security. Conclusion: UPS is sustainable and safe as a new power supply. Satisfactory monitoring and management can reduce failure rate, extend lifetime of the equipment and provide security for hospital economy and medical safety.
5.Surgical treatment of invasive proximal gastric cancer
Journal of Clinical Surgery 1999;0(05):-
Objective To introduce the surgical treatment experiences of upper gastric cancer in our department in recent 10 years for improving its therapeutic level. Methods 94 patients with upper gastric cancer underwent proximal subtotal gastrectomy or total incision plus the left seventh to ninth ribs resection. Results One case developed a fistula at the anastomosis, 3 cases had residual tumor cells at the esophageal margin, and 8 cases developed pttlmonary infections. No one developed costal chondritis or hemopneumothorax followed by pleura injury. Conclusions Operations through mid-abdominal incision on patients with upper gastric cancers, which provide a well exposure, less injury and pain, and are applicable to those whose esophageal invasion is under 1 cm of length.
6.Can Animal Experimentation Be Justified Ethically——A Comparative Study between Animal Experimentation and Human Experimentation
Chinese Medical Ethics 1994;0(05):-
The development of biomedicine is based on animal experimentation. The author conducts a comparative study between animal experimentation and human experimentation from the perspectives of value,IQ,right and obligation and argues that animal experimentation could not be justified ethically. And the different attitudes towards the animal experimentation are due to the application of different ethical theories. The author concludes that it is necessary to develop relevant law or regulation to ensure the welfare and rights of animals.
7.Ganglioside combined with bone marrow mesenchymal stem cells transplantation for treatment of traumatic brain injury
Chinese Journal of Tissue Engineering Research 2015;(36):5811-5815
BACKGROUND:Bone marrow mesenchymal stem cel s can secrete neurotrophic factors in vitro, and can also be differentiated into neurons, thereby contributing to the repair of traumatic brain injury. However, the short life cycle of bone marrow mesenchymal stem cel s influences their protective effects on the damaged brain tissues. OBJECTIVE:To observe the effect of bone marrow mesenchymal stem cel transplantation combined with ganglioside in rats with traumatic brain injury. METHODS:Sixty Wistar rats were used to make severe traumatic brain injury models using a hydraulic head injury instrument, and then randomized into three groups:1 mL DMEM, 1 mL bone marrow mesenchymal stem cel suspension (1×1010/L), 1 mL bone marrow mesenchymal stem cel suspension (1×1010/L) combined with ganglioside solution (30 mg/kg) were injected respectively in model group, transplantation group and combined group, once a day, total y for 3 days. Neurological behavior scores were observed according to Longa method at 24 hours after modeling and at 3 days, 1, 2, 3, 4 weeks after cel transplantation. At 3 days after cel transplantation, RT-PCR and western blot assay were employed to detect aquaporin 4 mRNA and protein expressions. At 1 week after transplantation, hematoxylin-eosin staining was performed for pathological observation of the damaged brain tissues. RESULTS AND CONCLUSION:At 3 days, 1, 2, 3, 4 weeks after cel transplantation, the neurological behavior scores were ranked as fol ows:combined group

10.Human Micro-Ecological Research Ethics: A New Field of Bioethics
Chinese Medical Ethics 2017;30(7):814-821
The rapid development of human micro-ecology (human microbiome) in recent years has opened up new medical prospects for revealing the close relationship between microorganism and human health and disease. As the second genome of human, the special relationship between the microorganism and the host and its important function have brought new ethical and social problems, which requires to rethink and reform the existing ethical norms. This paper focused on the seven perspectives of “identity”,ownership, informed consent, risk benefit assessment, privacy, commercialization and public health, and demonstrated the importance to construct the ethics of micro-ecological research, which would enrich and expand the connotation of bioethics in theory and better guarantee the benign development of micro-ecology research in practice.
