Chinese Pharmacological Bulletin 1987;0(01):-
A protein designated as Flammulina Velutipes (FV) protein was isolated from the cultured mycelium of FV and purified to homogeneity by CM cellulose CM 52 and gel filtration chromatography. The molecular weight of FV protein were found to be 1.75?10~4u with pI 4.3. Amino acid analysis of FV protein indicated the presence of 14 kinds of amino acids, especially rich in Glu, Asp and Thr.Potent inhibitory effect of FV protein on thrombus formation, in the blood was observed in vitro when rats were given intravenously. The length of thrombus was shortened and the dry weight of the thrombus decreased significantly at the dose of 7.5?10~(-7) mol/kg. Thrombus formation was completely inhibited at the dose of 10~()-8 mol/kg. The IC_(50) was found to be 4.4?10~(-7) mol/kg. FV protein was shown to inhibit collegen induced aggregation of rat platelets both in vitro and in vivo. Its concentration for complete inhibition in vitro was 7.5?10~(-5) mol/L. The IC_(50) was found to be 4?10~(-5)mol/ L. However, FV protein dose of 1.25?10~(-5) mol/kg was required for 60% inhibition in vivo

Objective To study the chemical constituents from the stem bark of Daphne giraldii. MethodsThe chemical constituents in the alcoholic extract from the stem bark of D. giraldii were isola-ted and purified using liquid/liquid extraction and silica gel column chromatography. The structures of the isolated compounds were determined on the basis of NMR, and mass spectra. ResultsSeven compounds were isolated from the alcohol extract. Their structures were identified as E-octadecyl caffeinate (Ⅰ), (+)-nortrachelogenin (Ⅱ), daphnoretin (Ⅲ), daphneticin (Ⅳ), 7, 8-dihydroxy coumarin (Ⅴ), 7-hydroxy coumarin (Ⅵ), and luteolin (Ⅶ) on the basis of 1H-NMR, 13C-NMR, and MS. ConclusionCompound Ⅰ is a new one. Compounds Ⅱ, Ⅳ, and Ⅶ are isolated from the title plant for the first time.

Deep vein thrombosis is a common complication after orthopedic, gynecological, and obstetric operations. However, instances of this complication after oral and maxillofacial surgeries have been rarely reported. We report a case with odontogenic keratocyst in the jaw that gained left lower extremity venous thrombosis after operation, and discuss the risk factors and prevention of lower extremity venous thrombosis through literature review.

Objective To assess the efficacy and safety of CyberKnife radiotherapy in the treatment of locally advanced pancreatic carcinoma. Methods The data of 59 patients with locally advanced pancreatic carcinoma who were treated with CyberKnife radiotherapy from 2006 to 2014 were retrospectively analyzed. The tumor volume ranged from 13?? 0 cm3 to 125?? 1 cm3 with a median value of 27?? 1 cm3 . A dose of 35?50 Gy (median value= 45 Gy) in 3?8 fractions (median value = 5 fractions) was prescribed. The tumor progression was evaluated based on computed tomography. The overall survival (OS) and local progression?free survival ( LPFS) rates were calculated using the Kaplan?Meier method. Results The 1?and 2?year sample sizes were 26 and 17, respectively. The 1?and 2?year OS rates were 54% and 35%, respectively, while the 1?and 2?year LPFS rates were 91% and 70%, respectively. The median OS and LPFS times were 12?? 5 and 10?? 9 months, respectively. The overall incidence of grade 1?2 acute and late gastrointestinal toxicity was 61%. One patient with grade 3 late gastrointestinal toxicity had incomplete intestinal obstruction. Conclusions CyberKnife radiotherapy can achieve excellent treatment outcomes and mild complications in the treatment of locally advanced pancreatic carcinoma.
