1.Thoughts on the Construction and Sustainable Development and Utilization of Germplasm Resources of Chinese Medicinal Herbs
Chinese Journal of Information on Traditional Chinese Medicine 2015;(6):5-8
This article analyzed the construction, experience and enlightenment of agriculture and forestry germplasm resources and TCM production and marketing bases based on current situation of construction of germplasm resources of Chinese medicinal herbs and market demand for high-quality Chinese medicinal herbs. It proposed that systems should be established first;plans should be improved;work division should be scientific;staple Chinese medicinal herbs demanded by the society should be set as focus;species should be set as basic units. Germplasm resource collection, quality identification and improved variety breeding should be carried out simultaneously, with a purpose to provide references for the construction and exploitation and utilization of TCM germplasm resources.

4.Relationship between coronary heart disease and glucose metabolism disorder
Chinese Journal of cardiovascular Rehabilitation Medicine 2015;24(1):26-29
Objective:To explore the relationship between coronary heart disease (CHD)and glucose metabolism dis-order.Methods:A total of 512 CHD patients received glucose tolerance test and coronary angiography, the percent-age of patients with impaired glucose tolerance (IGT)was counted, and degree of coronary disease was compared a-mong patients with different glucose tolerance. Results:Besides the 166 patients already diagnosed as diabetes melli-tus (DM),among the resting 346 patients undergoing oral glucose tolerance test (OGTT),there were 74 cases (21.39%)of new-onset DM and 152 cases (43.93%)of impaired glucose regulation (IGR).A total of 240 DM pa-tients occupied as high as 46.88% among the total 512 subjects.Compared with OGTT results, omission diagnose rate of DM was 43.2% and it′s 73.7% for IGR by single measuring fasting plasma glucose (FPG);compared with normal glucose tolerance (NGT)and IGT group, there were more of ≥ 3 vessel coronary disease (20.83% vs. 30.92% vs.58.75%)in DM group,P <0.05~ <0.01.Conclusion:Most CHD patients complicate with glucose metabolism disorder.Percentage of patients with≥ 3 vessel coronary disease is significant rise in DM group than those of NGT and IGT group.OGTT can significantly raise detection rate of glucose metabolism disorder.
6.Application of text mining in gene annotation
Chinese Journal of Medical Library and Information Science 2017;26(3):15-19
Co-citations of highly cited papers on gene annotation covered in Web of Science were analyzed by clustering analysis using clustering software after the word matrix of resource literature and highly cited papers was formed, which showed that the application of text mining on gene annotation includes use of authorized tools, development of text mining tools and algorithms, and verification of text mining tools.
7.Identification of Ternate Pinellia (Pinellia ternata),Yunnan Jackinthepulpit (Arisaema yunnanense) and Whipformed Typhonium (Typhonium flagelliforme) by UV-Spectrometry
Zhengrong ZHAO ; Yongcheng ZHAO
Chinese Traditional and Herbal Drugs 1994;0(12):-
Alcoholic (70%) extract of Pinellia ternate, Arisaeme yunnanense and Typhonium flagelliforme were analysed by UY-spectrometry. Results showed that each of them had its own characteristics spectrum and was repcatable. This provides a method for the identification of three kinds of drug.It was discovered that the wavelength of maximum absorbance showed aggreement, when P.ternata from different origin were analysed by UV-spectrometry.
8.Study on Quality Standards for Brain's King Oral Solution
Chinese Traditional Patent Medicine 1992;0(05):-
Objective: To establish the quality control standards for Brains' King Oral solution. Methods: Rhizoma Gastrodia, Rhizoma et Radix Noto-pterygii in oral solution were identified by TLC. The content of gastrodin in Brain's King Oral Solution was determined by HPLC with external standard. The average recovery was 99.22% and RSD was 0.99%(n=6).Results: These methods are simple, accurate and specific. Conclusion: These methods can be used for the quality control of Brain's King Oral Solution.
9.Design and establishment of a rat model of experimental local muscular atrophy
Chinese Journal of Tissue Engineering Research 2010;14(7):1223-1226
BACKGROUND: There were disadvantages of animal models in the study of the relationship of muscle and skeleton. Recent study has been demonstrated the effect of Botulinum toxin type A to atrophy local muscle without influencing the surrounding muscle.OBJECTIVE: To construct a reasonable animal model of local muscle atrophy by local injection of Botulinum toxin type A.METHODS: Totally 25 male Wistar rats of 4 months were subjected to ketamine (0.2 mL/kg) and Sumianxin (0.2 mL/kg) by intramuscular injection. A 0.5-cm incision was made on the middle of dorsal femur to expose quadriceps femoris. Right quaddceps femods was injected with 2 Units (0.2 mL) of Botulinum toxin type A, and left quaddcaps femoris of the same rat with the same amount of saline as controls. At 1, 2, 4, 8, 8 weeks after injection, 5 rats were used to take gross observation and histological examination.RESULTS AND CONCLUSION: Gross observation of the muscle tissue showed that, compared with self-controlled group, the volume and weight of the quadriceps femods were decreased significantly (P < 0.01). The histological examination of muscle tissue showed the atrophy of the quadricaps femods from expedmental group was more obvious, the muscle fiber become thin, and the nuclei of the muscle fiber assemble together, with small distance betWeen muscle fibers. Weight of the quadricaps femods treated with Botulinum toxin type A was decreased at 1 and 2 weeks. The increase in weight of muscle was slow among muscle at 4, 6 and 8 weeks. The muscle weight showed an increased tendency in the saline side at vadous time points. Injecting Botulinum toxin type A into local muscle is a reasonable way to set up an experimental model of the atrophy of a destination muscle with strong practice, good repeatability, high stability, and may be used to examine the relationship of muscle and skeleton.
10.The clinical study of microwave heliotherapy on the malignant bone tmnors of scapula
Chinese Journal of Orthopaedics 2009;29(8):711-716
Objective To investigate the clinical Results of microwave heliotherapy on the malignant bone tumors of scapula. Methods Form June 1998 to February 2008, 17 patients with malignant bone tu-mors of scapula were treated with microwave heliotherapy. There were 12 males and 5 females, 48 years old on the average (ranging from 13 to 59 years). The tumors included: the primary malignant tumor of the scapula (12 cases), the metastases of the scapula (5 cases). Locations of tumors included: the SI region (14 shape or curved nick on the surface of scapula. The lesions were heated at 50 ℃ fur 20 min at 2450 MHz microwave, with surrounding soft tissue protected by copper mesh. The necrotic tumor tissues were excised after the treatment of microwave heliotherapy. Results The axillary nerve of the patient with the metastases of the scapula was cut off, and the broken ends were sewed up after the tumor was excised. The duration of surgery was from 60 minutes to 180 minutes (120 minutes on average). The blood loss was from 300 ml to 1000 ml (460 ml on average). All patients were followed up for 3 months to 10 years (4.2 years on average). Three cases with Ewing sarcoma died due to brain metastases, pulmonary metastases or all body metastases 8 to 24 months postoperatively. Three cases with malignant fibrous histiocytoma died due to pulmonary metastases or all body metastases 10 to 22 months postoperatively. Five cases with the metastases died due to metastases 6 to 14 months postoperatively. Three patient's superduet function of shoulder joint was re-stricted. Conclusion The clinical Results demonstrated that the advantages of microwave heliotherapy in-cluded quick increase of temperature, sensitive responses, easy control of temperature, and effective inacti-vation of tumor cells in the malignant bone tumors of scapula.
