Objective: To explore influence of short-term intervention of different doses rosuvastatin on plasma levels of thrombomodulin (TM) and high sensitive C reactive protein (hsCRP) in patients with acute coronary syndrome (ACS). Methods: A total of 32 ACS patients were enrolled, randomly and equally divided into rosuvastatin 10mg group and rosuvastatin 20mg group, and another 16 patients without coronary heart disease were enrolled as normal control group. Enzyme linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA) was used to measure plasma levels of TM and hsCRP in two rosuvastatin groups before and after treatment and in normal control group at admission. Adverse drug reactions and incidence rates of cardiovascular events within one month were observed in two rosuvastatin groups. Results: Plasma levels of TM and hsCRP in two groups of ACS patients were both significantly higher than those of normal control group before treatment, P<0.001 all; compared with before treatment, there were significant decrease in levels of TM [10mg group:(54.09±52.45) μg/dl vs. (15.65±2.30) μg/dl,20mg group:(70.27±62.43) μg/dl vs. (19.86±5.49) μg/dl] and hsCRP [10mg group:(126.35±76.08) ng/ml vs. (54.85±45.30) ng/ml,20mg group:(125.35±60.29) ng/ml vs. (58.14±53.54) ng/ml] in two rosuvastatin groups after treatment 7d, P<0.01 all; But there were no significant differences in influences of two doses on plasma levels of TM and hsCRP in ACS patients, P>0.05 all. There was no significant difference in incidence rate of adverse drug reactions between two rosuvastatin groups during follow-up (P>0.05); compared with rosuvastatin 10mg group, there was significant decrease in incidence rate of major adverse cardiovascular events(MACE): Relapse angina pectoris (62.50% vs. 18.75%, P<0.01) in rosuvastatin 20mg group. Conclusions: Early intensive statins medication (rosuvastatin 20mg)can decrease plasma levels of thrombomodulin and high sensitive C reactive protein, and rosuvastatin 20mg/d can effectively decrease incidence rate of cardiovascular events without significant increase incidence rate of adverse drug reactions in ACS patients.

The Journal of Practical Medicine 2015;(18):2963-2965
Objective To observe the levels of serum VEGF in different molecular subtypes of breast cancer and explore its relationship with response to neoadjuvant chemotherapy. Methods Levels of serum VEGF in 110 cases with breast cancer underwent neoadjuvant chemotherapy were detected by ELISA prior to and after 3 cycles of neoadjuvant chemotherapy. Clinical response to neoadjuvant chemotherapy was evaluated by physical examination and ultrasonography. Results Levels of serum VEGF were significantly increased in breast cancer patients with≥4 lymph node metastasis than those with < 4 lymph node[(307.31 ± 101.42) pg/mL vs. (170.16 ± 73.07) pg/mL,P = 0.017]. Patients with positive HER-2 status had significantly higher levels of serum VEGF than those with HER-2 negative status [(235.15 ± 88.42 ) pg/mL vs. (179.82 ± 69.90) pg/mL, P = 0.024]. No significant difference was observed among age , menopausal status and hormone status. In patients with neoadjuvant chemotherapy of cCR and Cpr,the mean levels of serum VEGF were (205.75 ± 78.12) pg/mL and (226.04 ± 89.04) pg/mL, respectively. After 3 cycles of chemotherapy, levels of serum VEGF decreased to (145.15 ± 67.08) pg/mL and (161.27 ± 93.57) pg/mL. There was significant difference between two groups (P=0.009,0.014). In patients with SD or PD response, no significant difference was observed between levels of serum VEGF before and after chemotherapy (P = 0.577). Conclusions Levels of serum VEGF in breast cancer correlate with lymph nodes metastasis and HER-2 status and may decrease after neoadjuvant chemotherapy. However, whether or not the levels of serum VEGF can be used as a biomarker for response to neoadjuvant chemotherapy needs more further studies.

BACKGROUND:Recently, there are many documents al over the world reporting hypotoxicity infection after fracture internal fixation surgery, but reports are different on whether it is necessary for chronic hypotoxicity infection internal fixation removal post surgery. There are no fixed judgment criteria of curative effects, which leads to inexact conclusion of treatment method.
OBJECTIVE:To observe the curative effects of taking rifampicin and ciprofloxacin with transfer of skin flap in the treatment of chronic hypotoxicity infection with sinus formation after fracture surgery on tibial plateau and ankle. METHODS:A total of 56 cases of chronic hypotoxicity infection after fracture surgery of tibial plateau and ankle were col ected from September 2005 to December 2012. 30 cases in the therapy group were treated with
levofloxacin and rifampicin with transfer of skin flap. 26 cases in the control group were treated with conventional intravenous antibiotics with local debridement to remove internal fixation. In both groups, the course of disease was 3 to 6 months. The erythrocyte sedimentation rate, kidney function and radiographic indices were reviewed every 1 to 3 months, and curative effects were evaluated.
RESULTS AND CONCLUSION:During the fol ow-up visit of 6-24 months, no recurrence happened to the cured and improved patients. In the therapy group, 24 cases were cured, 4 cases were improved, and 2 cases were invalid, with a total effective rate of 93%. In the control group, 11 cases were cured, 6 cases were improved and 9 cases were invalid with the total effective rate of 65%.χ2 test showed that therapeutic effects were significantly better in the therapy group than in the control group (P<0.05). These data indicated that rifampicin and ciprofloxacin with transfer of skin flap for chronic hypotoxicity infection with sinus formation after fracture surgery of tibial plateau and ankle showed good curative effects.

Objective:To analyze the changes of serum 25-hydroxyvitamin D 3[25-(OH)D 3] expression in diabetic patients and its correlation with macrovascular complications. Methods:Two hundreddiabetic patients admitted to Cangzhou Central Hospital from February 2018 to November 2019 were divided into macrovascular complications group (87 cases) and without macrovascular complicationsgroup (113 cases). According to the degree of 25-(OH)D 3 deficiency, 32 cases were divided into 25-(OH)D 3 normal group, 94 cases were mild deficiency group and 74 cases were moderate and severe deficiency group. At the same time, 168 outpatients were selected as control group. The levels of serum 25-(OH)D 3 were compared between diabetic group and control group, macrovascular complications group and without macrovascular complications group, and the correlation between the level of serum 25-(OH)D 3 and carotid intima-media thickness (IMT) was analyzed. Results:The level of serum 25-(OH)D 3 in diabetic group was lower than that in control group: (24.79 ± 3.02) μg/L vs. (39.18 ± 4.38) μg/L, the difference was statistically significant ( P<0.05). The level ofserum 25-(OH)D 3 in diabetic patients with macrovascular complications group was lower than that in without macrovascular complications group: (21.08 ± 2.64) μg/L vs. (27.65 ± 3.31) μg/L; while the IMT was higher than that without macrovascular complications group: (1.29 ± 0.13) mm vs. (0.93 ± 0.10) mm, the differences were statistically significant ( P<0.05). The incidence of macrovascular complications in 25-(OH)D 3 moderate and severe deficiency group was higher than that in 25-(OH)D 3 mild deficiency group and 25-(OH)D 3 normal group: 60.81%(45/74) vs. 40.43%(38/94), 12.50%(4/32), the difference was statistically significant ( χ2 = 21.896, P<0.05). The level of serum 25-(OH)D 3 in patients with diabetic macrovascular complications was negatively correlated with IMT ( r = -0.513, P<0.05). Conclusions:The level of serum 25-(OH)D 3 in diabetic patients is decreased, and the change of its concentration is related to the occurrence of macrovascular complications.

Sichuan Mental Health 2025;38(1):65-70
BackgroundIn recent years, the incidence of non-suicidal self-injury (NSSI) behaviors among adolescents has been increasing annually. Self-esteem and alexithymia are strongly associated with NSSI behaviors, and alienation is closely linked to both self-esteem and alexithymia. However, there is limited research on the relationship between alienation and NSSI behaviors among adolescents in China. ObjectiveTo analyze the relationship between alienation and NSSI behaviors among adolescents, and to explore the factors influencing NSSI behaviors in this population, so as to provide insights for the prevention and treatment of NSSI behaviors in adolescents. MethodsAdolescents admitted to the Department of Psychiatry and Psychology at the 923rd Hospital of the Joint Logistics Support Force of the Chinese People's Liberation Army from September 1, 2021 to March 1, 2023, who met the diagnostic criteria for NSSI in the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders, fifth edition (DSM-5), were selected as the study group (n=60). Concurrently, middle school students from Nanning were recruited as the control group (n=60). Participants were assessed using Adolescent Self Harm Scale (ASHS), Rosenberg Self-Esteem Scale (RSES), Toronto Alexithymia Scale (TAS) and Adolescent Students′ Alienation Scale (ASAS). Pearson correlation analysis was employed to examine the relationships between scale scores in the study group, and Logistic regression analysis was used to identify the influencing factors of NSSI behaviors among adolescents. ResultsThe RSES score of the study group was significantly lower than that of the control group (t=-7.033, P<0.01). The TAS and ASAS scores of the study group were significantly higher than those of the control group (t=5.591, 8.124, P<0.01). The ASHS score was negatively correlated with RSES score (r=-0.410, P<0.01) and positively correlated with ASAS score (r=0.555, P<0.01). The RSES scores of the study group were negatively correlated with TAS and ASAS scores (r=-0.317, -0.590, P<0.05 or 0.01). Logistic regression analysis showed that being female (OR=0.714, 95% CI: 0.042~0.709) was a protective factor for NSSI behaviors among adolescents, while high alienation (OR=1.028, 95% CI: 1.013~1.043) and residing in rural areas (OR=6.692, 95% CI: 2.038~21.967) were risk factors for NSSI behaviors among adolescents. ConclusionAlienation was positively correlated with NSSI behaviors in adolescents. Female adolescents had a lower risk of NSSI behaviors, while those with higher levels of alienation or residing in rural areas were more prone to NSSI behaviors.
