Chinese Journal of Blood Transfusion 1988;0(01):-
The treatment of 170 patients with arteriosclerotic cerebral infaction by ultra-violet-irradiated and oxygenated autoblood transfusion was reported. The pati- ents have been treated once every five days, and the five times was a course oftreatment. After a course of treatment,25.3%(43)of all the 170 patients gainedobviously curative effect,28.2%(48)patients showed curative effect and 46.5%(79)patients didn't have any curative effect.A proportion of the patients testedafter the treatment showed the following improvement:the TXB_2 content decreasedin plasma, the 6-KetoPGF_(1?) content increased in plasma, the specific value ofTXB_2 to 6-Keto-PGF_(1?)decreased,the SOD activity in red blood cells was enhan-ced,the LPO content decreased in plasma, the immune function of red blood cellswas enhanced, the PaO_2 and O_2ST increased, and PaCO_2 and TCO_2 decreasedaccording to the blood gas analysis, the high shear viscosity of whole blood andthe fibrinogen content in plasma decreased according to the blood rheologicaltest.
2.The Role of P-Glycoprotein-mediated Transport of Phenytoin and Carbamazepine in a Multidrug Resistant K562
Progress in Biochemistry and Biophysics 2006;0(12):-
A series of researches concerning the relationship between multidrug transporters and drug resistance in medically intractable epilepsy have been done. There is accumulating evidence demonstrating that P-glycoprotein (PGP) is a candidate to cause AEDs resistance. The effect of PGP inhibitor-verapamil on the intracellular AEDs accumulation in a MDR(multidrug resistant) K562 was investigated. The multidrug resistant (overexpression of PGP) cell line K562/Dox was established and the intracellular PHT and CBZ accumulation in multidrug resistant cell line and non- multidrug resistant cell line was observed. After PGP inhibitor-verapamil was applied to the two cell lines, the concentration change of PHT and CBZ in MDR cell was observed. The results were found: compared with non-MDR cell line K562, which IC50 was significantly increased in MDR cell line K562/Dox after PHT and CBZ was applied; verapamil could decrease significantly the level of IC50 in MDR cell line K562/Dox, and the reversal index were 2.5 and 1.5. The concentration of PHT and CBZ in MDR cell line K562/Dox was lower than that in non-MDR cell line K562, and verapamil significantly increased the concentration of PHT and CBZ in MDR cell line K562/Dox(P

Chinese Mental Health Journal 1992;0(01):-
Objective:To study memory changes in patients with non-demented Parkinson disease(PD) without depression. Methods:The Nissen Version(serial reaction time task,SRTT) software(as a task of procedural learning),the WMS-CR and two tasks of implicit memory were applied in 16 PD patients(Hoehn-Yahr score I~Ⅱdegrees).Normal controls enrolled for the Nissen Version either. Results In the explicit WMS-CR and the implicit(word stem completion and degraded picture naming) tasks, the patients' scores fell within normal limits(Memory Quotient 97.1?10.6).In the SRTT,normal control group displayed significantly reduced response times(F=2.54,P=0.008) and error rates(3.2 ?0.9% to 6.8 ?2.7%,t=-2.08,P=0.045) across the blocks of repeated sequence trials.By contrast,PD patients only showed a reduction in error rates(4.7?2.0% to 3.7?1.8%,t=-2.15,P=0.038) but no change in response times. Conclusion:Impairment of nigrostriatal pathways selectively affects performance in visuo-motor learning tasks such as the SRTT,but not in the explicit tasks of WMS-CR and the implicit tasks such as word stem completion and degraded picture naming.
