Objective:
To explore the associations of Hand-Foot-Mouth disease (HFM) among children of different age groups in kindergartens, and to provide scientific evidence for HFM prevention and control.
Methods:
Cluster sampling was used to select 9 912 children from 40 kindergartens. The major caregivers of children were invited to participate into the study and fulfill a self-administered questionnaire that consisted of general background, hand washing and the history of HFM among children in the recent 1 year. Chi-square and binary logistic regression were applied,to analyze the influencing factors of HFM among children of different age groups.
Results:
In the 2 year-old-group, children who were male (OR=1.76, 95%CI=1.24-2.50), had the major caregiver with high school educational background or below (OR=1.54, 95%CI=1.06-2.24), had family income more than 100 000 yuan or more per year(OR=1.49, 95%CI=1.01-2.20), children whose major caregiver seldom wash hands immediately after coming home(OR=2.10, 95%CI=1.05-4.19),and 3-5 times per week(OR=2.07, 95%CI=1.26-3.41) were more likely to have HFM. In the 3 year-old-group, the more time children spent in the outdoors, the less likely they got HFM(3-5 times per week: OR=0.58, 95%CI=0.43-0.81; ≥6 times per week: OR=0.45, 95%CI=0.29-0.70). Children whose major caregiver did not use soap were more likely to have HFM(OR=1.67, 95%CI=1.11-2.49). In the 4 year-old-group, children who occasionally took toys when going out were less likely to get HFM (vs always, OR=0.57, 95%CI=0.38-0.88). No significant factors were found in the 5 year-old-group.
Conclusion
The behaviors and activities of major caregivers and children could influence the HFM incidence. To prevent HFM, it was advised that the major caregivers should wash hands immediately after coming home, and develop the habit of using soap for handwashing together with children at the earlier age, and encourage children to take more outside-door activities according to the age characteristics. Attention should be paid to avoid contaminating takeout snacks, and to clean the takeout toys timely.

The 1H-NMR fingerprints of three different species tibetan medicine sea buckthorn were established by 1H-HMR metabolomics to find out different motablism which could provide a new method for the quality evaluation of sea buckthorn. The obtained free induction decay (FID) signal will be imported into MestReNova software and into divide segments. The data will be normalized and processed by principal component analysis and.partial least squares discriminant analysis to perform pattern recognition. The results showed that 25 metabolites belonging to different chemical types were detected from sea buckthorn, including flavonoids, triterpenoids, amino acids, carbohydrates, fatty acids, etc. PCA and PLS-DA analysis showed three different varietiest of sea buckthorn that can be clearly separated by the content of L-quebrachitol, malic acid and some unidentified sugars, which can be used as the differences metabolites of three species of sea buckthorn. 1H-NMR-based metabonomies method had a holistic characteristic with sample preparation and handling. The results of this study can offer an important reference for the species identification and quality control of sea buckthorn.

Objective:
To analyze the features of Norovirus outbreaks in schools and kindergartens and the associated factors in Chengdu, 2017, and to provide the scientific basis for Norovious outbreaks prevention and control.
Methods:
A total of 75 schools and kindergartens in Chengdu of 2017 participated in the study about Norovirus outbreaks. ANOVA and binary Logistic regression models were used to analyze the influencing factors and duration of Norovirus outbreaks.
Results:
Overall 710 cases were included. There was an average of 9.47 cases and 27.52 hours for each outbreak, decreasing by 1.06 cases and 10.56 hours compared with those of 2016. Most outbreaks happened in kindergartens and in the firstlevel economy regions from January to March, with GII type as the main outbreak. Compared with the first case of vomiting at home, vomiting in public area (OR=11.76, 95%CI=1.63-84.69) was much more serious, and compared with the active report of school/ community, being informed of the outbreak passively (OR=4.09,95%CI=1.04-16.03) was positively associated with outbreak severity.
Conclusion
To prevent Norovirus infection, specific development and training of dealing with vomiting and feces should be introduced, and measures to increase the ability to surveil and report Norovirus outbreaks should be enhanced.

Journal of Southern Medical University 2008;28(3):345-347
OBJECTIVETo study the segmentation methods of the liver CT images and the value of 3-dimensional (3D) reconstruction of the liver in the planning of hepatic surgery.
METHODSThe 2D Digital Imaging and Communications in Medicine (DICOM) format data of the liver obtained from healthy volunteers were transformed into bmp format image, and the liver image segmentation was performed using Photoshop software. The 3D model was reconstructed using MIMICS software.
RESULTSThe DICOM format data of the liver obtained by 64 slice spiral CT included totally 658 slice images. The segmented liver image showed clear profiles and complete intrahepatic duct data were reserved. The segmented liver images were free of discontinuation during continuous observation. The liver surface and internal ductal system, including the hepatic arteries and veins, and the hepatic portal system and their branches, were represented clearly. The reconstructed liver allowed clear identification of the anatomic landmark and matched the actual liver volume. The reconstructed ductal structure were distinct and continuous with natural texture. The reconstructed liver and the hepatic internal duct system were simultaneously displayed by adjusting the transparency of the liver, and the blood vessels were also represented.
CONCLUSIONSegmentation of the liver images in different phases using Photoshop can be feasible for liver reconstruction. The reconstructed liver and the intrahepatic ductal structure allow vivid 3D observation of the spatial relationship among the major tracts and accurate estimation of the liver volume.

Acta Pharmaceutica Sinica 2011;46(11):1321-1325
This study is to investigate inhibitory effects of lidamycin (LDM) on the proliferation of HERG K+ channel highly expressing cancer cells and its synergy with anticancer drugs. MTT assay was used to examine the inhibitory effects of lidamycin combined with various anticancer drugs on the proliferation of human lung cancer A549 cells, human colon cancer HT-29 cells and herg-stably-transfected A549 cells. Using the xenograft model of subcutaneously transplanted HT-29 in nude mice, inhibitory effect was appraised in vivo. The coefficient of drug interaction (CDI) was used to evaluate the synergistic effect of drug combination. LDM significantly inhibited the proliferation ofA549 cells and HT-29 cells with IC50 values of 2.14 and 4.64 ng mL(-1), respectively. The efficacy in HT-29 cells with high HERG potassium expression level is less potent than that in A549 cells with low expression level. In terms of IC50 values, LDM suppressed the growth of herg-stably-transfected A549 cells less potently than pCDNA3.1-stably-transfected A549 cells. There existed synergistic effects in the combinations of fluorouracil (5-FU) and LDM, doxorubicin (DOX) and LDM, or hydroxycamptothecine (HCPT) and LDM. CDI values of the combinations of 5-FU and LDM were more than 0.75. CDI values of LDM and DOX were more than 0.70, but some CDI values of LDM and HCPT were less than 0.70. As for the CDI values, synergistic effects of the combination of LDM and HCPT were the most potent of the three groups. There is no relationship between the inhibitory effect of the growth of cancer cells by 5-FU and HERG potassium expression level. HERG expression level negatively correlated with inhibitory effect on the proliferation of cancer cells by DOX. HERG expression levels and chemosensitivity were positively correlated for HCPT. In the model of subcutaneously xenograft transplanted HT-29 in vivo, LDM and/or HCPT effectively inhibited the growth of HT-29 in nude mice, and the optimum CDI of the combination of LDM and HCPT was less than 1. HERG expression level negatively correlates the chemosensitivity of cancer cells to LDM. There exist synergistic effects in vitro and in vivo in the combination of LDM and HCPT, which inhibitory effects of the proliferation of cancer cells positively modulated by HERG potassium expression level. HERG K+ channel may become a target of combined therapy for choosing anticancer drugs.

OBJECTIVETo design and construct the inducible expression vector of endothelial-overexpressed lipopolysaccharide-associated factor 1 (EOLA1), in order to establish EOLA1 compelling expression model, and to observe the effects of EOLA1 compelling expression on the proliferation of ECV304 cells.
METHODSInducible overexpression vector pOPRSV I-EOLA1 was constructed by amplifying the open reading fragment of EOLA1 and subcloning it into the Not I site and Xho I site of pOPRSV I vector. After sequencing, the pOPRSV I-EOLA1 recombinant vector and pCMVLac I vector were co-transfected into ECV304 cells. The cells resistant to G418 and hygromycin were screened by G418 and hygromycin, so that stable transfected cell strain was obtained. The growth curve of cells with or without isopropyl-beta-D-thiogalactoside (IPTG) induction were graphed with cell counting.
RESULTSThe inducible overexpressed EOLA1 vector was constructed successfully. The proliferation of the cells with EOLA1 compelling expression after induction of IPTG (44 +/- 17) x 10(4) was significantly higher than that without IPTG induction (27 +/- 11) x 10(4), (P < 0.01).
CONCLUSIONCompelling expression of EOLA1 protein can enhance the proliferation of ECV304 cell.
