ObjectiveTo evaluate the efficacy of the high-flux dialysis on maintaining hemodialysis patients. Methods60 hemodialysis patients were randomly divided into the ordinary PMMA membrane dialyzer group,the ordinary polysulfone membrane dialyzer group and the high-flux dialyzer group with 20 patients in each group.Before and after the single hemodialysis,the removing effect of serum β2- microglobulin (β2-MG)in the 3 kinds of dialyzer,and cholesterol,triglyceride,low density lipoprotein changes after 6 months were compared. ResultsThe ordinary PMMA membrane dialyzer group and high-flux dialyzer group can reduce the concentration of β2-MG,while the high-flux dialyzer group showed more significant effect.On the aspect of lipid metabolism,in the high-flux dialyzer group,serum total cholesterol,triglycerides and LDL levels decreased significantly,while the ordinary dialysis group had no significant change. ConclusionsThe high-flux dialysis can improve the dialysis efficiency,life quality and reduce the complications of patients.

Objective　To find out the infection of brucella among local people.Methods　To implement requirement of brucella surveillance program according to the prevention and cure of brucella document.From 1996-1998,continous surveillance of the group people aged 7～60 years was done.Results　Three years surveillance showed that in Yuli county the brucella average infection rate is 13.11%,the rate of contracting disease is 2.62%.Such disease happened among different profession and different kinds of people.It shows that the brucela infection has transferred and diffused from pasturing area to rural section and town.Conclusions　The ways is to adopt the available prevention and cure ways,to avoid the source of brucella infection,to strengthen the prevention and cure of the brucella infection among the animals,to improve people's protection consciousness,to reduce the harm that disease done to people.

One of the strain of bivalent HFRS vaccine, Z37 strain was isolated from Rattus norvegicus and identified as SEO virus by serological test. The M segment cDNA of Hantavirus Z37 strain was obtained by reverse transcripti on and polymerase chain reaction, subsequently cloned into pGEM-T vector. The s equence of positive recombinants was determined by the method of dideoxy chain t ermination, which revealed that the M genomic segment is 3651 nucleotide in len gth with a predicated long open reading frame encoding a protein of 1133 amino acids. Comparison with HNT type (76-118, A9, HV-114 strains) indicated that th ere were 71.8%～72.1% homology at the nucleotide level, 76.2～76.7% homology at the amino acid level. Comparison with SEO type (R22,L99,80-39 strains) showed 95.3～96.1 homology at the nucleotide level, 95.3～99.2% homology at the amino acid level. The results of nucleotide and amino acid comparison indicated that Z 37 strain is SEO viruses in molecular level.

Objective To investigate the mastery degree of GCP (Good Clinical Practice) in Guang’anmen Hospital of China Academy of Chinese Medical Sciences (hereinafter referred to as“Guang’anmen Hospital”). Methods Totally 338 clinical researchers, covering 18 clinical professional sections and medical clinical trial institutions, in Guang’anmen Hospital with both qualification of clinical trials and GCP certificate were investigated in 23th-27th June 2014. The investigation was in the written answer sheet form, including four noun explanations and 36 multiple choice questions, which were related to GCP. Results 338 researchers could accurately explain the concepts of 4 nouns, and 57 (16.86%) researchers could do all multiple choice questions correctly. 141 (41.72%) researchers chose 1 wrong answer and 89 (26.33%) researchers chose 2 wrong answers. 39 (11.54%) researchers failed to answer 3-4 questions. Only 12 (3.55%) researchers failed to answer 5 or more questions. Conclusion The mastery degree of clinical researchers with qualification of clinical trials and GCP certificate in Guang’anmen Hospital is satisfied. In the future, pertinence and diverse training should be strengthened, in order to improve the overall level of the mastery degree of GCP.

Objective To investigate the variation of lipid profile in patients with acute myocardial infarction (AMI) of different age groups.Methods Total 1214 patients of AMI were admitted to our hospital from May 2007 to July 2011.The age of patients ranged 40-89 years,and patients were divided into 5 age groups with 10-years step.Differences in lipid levels were observed by using pair-wise comparison among different age groups.Results Pair-wise comparisons among different age groups indicated that TC levels were higher in 40-69 years age groups [(4.71 ± 1.08),(4.80 ± 1.30),(4.69 ± 1.03) mmol/L,respectively] than those in the 70-89 age groups [(4.41 ± 0.96),(4.38 ± 1.03) mmol/L],all P ＜ 0.05(t values were 2.381,2.323,4.382,3.965,3.317,3.096).TG levels among three age groups ＜ 59 years had no significant difference,which were higher than those in groups over 60 years.Among 50-89 years age groups,TG gradually reduced with increase of age.HDL levels were lower in 40-59 years age groups [(1.03 ± 0.23),(1.05 ± 0.26) mmol/L,respectively] than those in 60-89 years age groups [(1.11 ±0.28),(1.11±0.28),(1.16±0.34) mmol/L,respectively],allP＜0.05 (t values were-2.777,-2.789,-3.731,-2.543,-2.566,-3.644).Total cholesterol (TC) (r =-0.123,P ＜0.01),lowdensity lipoprotein cholesterol (LDL) (r =-0.139,P ＜ 0.01) and triglyceride (TG) (r =-0.287,P ＜0.01) were negatively but high-density lipoprotein cholesterol (HDL) (r =0.125,P ＜ 0.01) was positively correlated with age of patients.TC levels in female patients were higher than those in male patients in 50-89 years age groups; LDL levels in female patients were higher than those in male patients in 50-69 years age groups and HDL levels in female patients were higher than those in male patients in 40-79 years age groups (all P ＜ 0.05,t values were-2.878,-3.007,-3.352,-3.333).Conclusions Results show that the non-elderly AMI patients (＜60 years) have higher levels of TC,LDL and TG,and lower level of HDL than the elderly patients; the TC,LDL and HDL levels are higher in female AMI patients than those in male patients at the same age groups.

Objective To observe the influence of diabetes mellitus or insulin on fluctuations of serum potassium in patients with maintenance hemodialysis.Methods 52 cases of hemodialysis patients,including 30 non-diabetes patients,11 patients with diabetes but not using insulin,11 diabetes patients using insulin.At the time of 0,24,48 h during dialysis,we collected serum samples from the 52 patients,serum potassium was compared among the three groups.Results On 0,24,48 h,serum potassium level of the diabetes but not using insulin group had no significant difference with the non-diabetes group.While in diabetes using insulin group,serum potassium level was lower compared with the non-diabetes group or diabetes not using insulin group.Conclusions Diabetes itself had no effect on serum potassium fluctuations of maintenance hemodialysis (MHD) patients,however,insulin can reduce the pre-dialysis serum potassium levels of MHD patients.

Objective To investigate the influence of transient receptor potential canonical 6 (TRPC6) on the proliferation of hUVEC induced by the supematant from human prostate cancer cells (DU145). Methods Experiment group was treated with the mixture of DU145 cells supernatant and DMEM medium in different ratio, control group was treated with DMEM medium. The change of cell proliferation was detected by MTT method, and TRPC6 gene and protein was detected by PCR and Western-blot methods respectively. Results After incubated for 48h with the supematant from cultured DU145 cells,the population of hUVECs increased obviously, and the expression of TRPC6 genes and protein had clearly up-regulation. Conclusion The supernatant from cultured DU145 cells could effectively enhance the proliferation of hUVECs. The mechanisms might be that the proliferation of human umbilical vein endothelial cells was mediated by TRPC6.
