Objective To study the inhibitive effect of interleukin-4(IL-4) and (or) IL-10 on cell apoptosis of renal ischemic-reperfusion injury(IRI) in rats and its mechanism.Methods Thirty female Sprague-Dawley rats were divided into five groups(n=6): sham-operated group,operation+9 g/L NaCl control (NaCl group),operation+IL-4(IL-4 group),operation+IL-10(IL-10 group),operation+ IL-4+IL-10 (IL-4+IL-10 group). The animal model of IRI was set up by clamping bilateral renal pedicles for 45 min.When the clamp was loosed, relevant agents was injected in every group. Apoptosis of renal epithelial cells (TUNEL method) was obserued.Results IL-4 could not reduce level of apoptosis of renal epithelial cells.To some extent,IL-10 could reduce level of renal epithelial cells. The combination of IL-4 and IL-10 was more effective in inhibiting apoptosis of renal epithelial cells.Conclusion The combination of IL-4 and IL-10 is effective in inhibiting apoptosis of renal epithelial cells, indicating that it has a relationship in preventing renal histological and functional damage.

Objective To investigate the incidence of the pusher syndrome in stroke patients, and the relationship between the syndrome and the neuropsychological symptoms and location of brain lesion, and to investigate the mechanism and the physiotherapy intervention of pusher syndrome. Methods Thirty nine patients(25 male, 14 female, 62.5?9.4 years old) with pusher syndrome were examined, 91 patients(57 male,34 female, 58.4?11.6 years old) without ipsilateral pushing served as control. The lesion areas, neuropsychological syndrome and the Barthel Index(BI) were recorded, and the physiotherapy were administered in the patients. Results The incidence of pusher syndrome was 30% in the patients studied, corresponding to 17% of the total number of stroke patients in the study period. Objective: To compare the cognition of cancer patients and their relatives,so as to provide references for cognitive intervention.Methods: Cognition questionnaire consists 19 questions to which most patients and their relatives concern.Sixty new cases of cancer patients and their relatives were included in this study.Results: Answers to the 5 following questions from the patients and their relatives were different with statistical significance: do you know the diagnosis(83% patients know,97% relatives know,?2=5.93,P=0.015);whether to inform patients of diagnosis or not(87% patients chose yes,65% relatives chose yes,?2=7.69,P=0.006);is it necessary to tell patient intimate therapeutic regimen(77% patients thought it is necessary,62% relatives thought it is necessary,?2=8.71,P=0.013);who decide the method(s) of treatment(7% patients and 17% relatives' answer is the patients,?2=7.19,P=0.028);if the treatment is unable to cure your disease,what would be your option(80% patients and 97% relatives chose treatment,?2=8.09,P=0.004).Different educational background(?2=5.63,P=0.018) and occupation(?2=4.10,P=0.043) affected their cognition on being informed of the intimate therapeutic regimen.Conclusion:Patients` and relatives` cognition of being informed of the diagnosis and therapy are diverse from each other.In communication with them,doctors must treat them respectively.

Objective To investigate the effect of miR-141 up-regulation through miR-141 mimic transfection on proliferation,apoptosis and cell cycle of hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) cells.Methods Real-time polymerase chain reaction (qPCR) was employed to detect differential expression of miR-141 in normal hepatic epithelial cells (L02) and hepatocellular carcinoma cells (HepG2).Furthermore,miR-141 mimics were used to transfect into HepG2 to up-regulate the expression of niR-141 (experimental group).Blank group (CON) and negative control group (miR-NC) were used as control group.qPCR was used to detect expression of miR-141.CCK8 assay was used to detect the proliferation of HepG2 cells.Flow cytometry was used to detect the apoptosis and cell cycle of HepG2 cells.Results The results of qPCR showed that miR-141 was significantly down-regulated in HepG2 cells (0.64 ± 0.13) compared to L02 cells (1.00 ± 0.18),and the difference was significant (P ＜ 0.05).Relative expression of miR-141 was significantly increased after transfection (3.33 ± 0.66),compared to CON group (1.00 ± 0.17,P ＜ 0.05) and miR-NC group (1.08 ±0.14,P ＜0.05).CCK8 assay showed that the absorbance values of HepG2 of miR141 group at 48,72,96 h (0.67 ± 0.07,1.17 ± 0.05,1.36 ± 0.03) were all decreased significantly compared with those in CON group (0.81 ±0.02;1.42±0.03;1.73 ±0.05,all P＜0.05) and miR-NC group (0.78 ±0.01;1.38 ±0.02;1.69 ±0.01,all P ＜0.05).The results showed that miR-141 group [(11.81 ± 0.23)％] had significantly increased apoptosis rate compared to CON group [(4.18 ± 0.18) ％] and miR-NC group [(4.04 ± 0.08) ％],and the difference was statistically significant (P ＜ 0.05).miR-141 group had decreased percentage of S phase cells [(19.89 ± 2.78) ％] compared to CON group [(31.87 ± 1.00) ％,P ＜ 0.05] and miR-NC group [(30.49 ± 1.73) ％,P ＜ 0.05],while miR-141 group had significantly increased percentage of G1 phase cells [(74.74 ±2.03)％] compared to CON group (60.85 ± 1.69) ％ and miR-NC group (60.93 ± 1.95) ％,and the differences were all statistically significant (all P ＜ 0.05).Conclusions miR-141 was in low expression in HepG2 cells.Upregulation of miR-141 could specifically inhibit proliferation and promote apoptosis of HepG2 and change the distribution of cell cycle.

Objective How to improve nursing students′consciousness and ability of scientific research remains a big chal-lenge to in advanced nursing education .This study aimed to investigate the mode and methods of training the scientific research ability of adult nursing students in the junior-to-regular college education program . Methods Using a new mode of scientific research train-ing, i.e.class training+tutors′guidance+individual appraisal , we trained 242 adult nursing students from grades 2009 to 2013 of the junior-to-regular college education program , along with related questionnaire investigation . Results All the students considered the mode to be effective in improving their consciousness and ability of scientific research .During their study at school , they published 115 research papers in the Source Journals for Chinese Scientific and Technical Papers and Citations , and 18 of them undertook nursing re-search projects and won various awards for science and technology achievements in nursing research . Conclusion This new mode can effectively promote the scientific research ability of adult nursing students in the junior -to-regular college education program .
