Objective To study on the changes of the IL-6、IL-8、TNF-? in the type 2 diabetes with insulin resistance and the relation of plasma glucose or insulin resistance and cytokines. Methods (1) To assay the serum level of cytokines in 90 cases with type 2 diabetes mellitus (T2DM) and 30 normal controls. (2)To measure the level of fasting plasma glucose (FPG),hemoglohin A_1c (HBA_1c),fasting insulin(FINS),fasting C-peptide (FCP).(3) To analysis the relation of the level of FPG,HBA_1c,FINS,FCP and cytokines. Results (1) The serum levels of cytokines in T2DM group were significantly increase than in control groups,IL-6 and TNF-? in T2DM group with insulin resistance were significantly increase than in T2DM group without insulin resistance (2) There was significantly positively correlated between insulin resistance and the increasing of cytokine levels. Conclusion There is an excess activation of cytokines in T2DM,which is significantly correlated with insulin resistance. Cytokines play the important role in the occurrence and development of T2DM and insulin resistance.

Objective To investigate the abnormal situation and the characteristics of body mass index(BMI),blood pressure (BP),blood lipid(BL),and fasting plasma glucose(FPG) in residents of Chongqing.Methods Data of BMI,BP,BL and FPG were obtained from 16 367 residents receiving regular health examination in our Hospital in 2006.Results These metabolic indicators of this group were abnormal:The detection rate was 33.2%(42.5% in male and 17.6% in female)for overweight;7.4%(9.7% in male and 3.5% in female) for obesity;25.4%(30.0% in male and 17.6% in female) for hypertension;,38.9%(41% in male and 35.5% in female) for total cholesterol;26.1%( 34% in male and 12.8% in female) for triglyceride;23.7%(26.8% in male and 18.6% in female) for low-density lipoprotein;8.2%(11.8% in male and 2.2% in female) for high-density lipoprotein;3.2%(3.8% in male and 2.2% in female) for impaired fasting glucose;and 3.2%(3.9% in male and 2.0% in female) for diabetes meUitus.The detection rate of these metabolic disorders was significantly higher in men than those in women,and increased with age,which was significantly higher in people aged 30-40 years than in people aged less than 30 years.Conclusion The levels of BMI,BP,BL and FPG of health examination residents in Chongqing had its unique characteristics,and were abnormal significantly,it was very important to take regularly health examination after 30 yrs old.

Aim Toinvestigatetheroleofbrain-de-rived neurotrophic factor(BDNF)-tyrosine receptor ki-nase B (trkB ) signaling pathway in the therapeutic effects of ketamine on diabetic neuropathic pain.Meth-ods Forty-eightWistarrats,aged3months,weighing 200~250 g,were equally randomized into 4 groups(n=12 ):control group (C group ), saline group (S group),ketamine group (K group)and ketamine +ANA-12 group (KA group ).Rats in S,K and KA groups were intraperitoneally injected with a single of streptozotocin(STZ)65 mg·kg-1 to construct diabetic neuropathic pain model.After twenty-eight days,rats in S,K and KA groups were intraperitoneally injected with saline, ketamine 10 mg·kg-1 and ketamine 10 mg·kg-1 +ANA-12 0. 5 mg·kg-1 for consecutive 7 days, respectively. On the 8th day, mechanical withdrawal threshold(MWT)of rats was measured.Af-ter that,the rats were immediately sacrificed,and dor-sal ganglion of lumbar spine and prefrontal cortex (PFC)were harvested for measuring BDNF,p-trkB/trkB,synaptophysin and spine density by Western blot andglogistaining.Results ComparedwithCgroup, rats in S group significantly decreased MWT,BDNF, p-trkB/trkB,synaptophysin and spine density in dorsal ganglion and PFC (P <0. 05 ).Compared with S group,rats in K group showed a significant increase of MWT,BDNF,p-trkB/trkB,synaptophysin and spine density in the all observed regions(P<0. 05 ).On the contrary,rats in KA group showed a significant de-crease of MWT and BDNF,p-trkB/trkB,synaptophys-in and spine density as compared with K group in all regions(P<0. 05 ).Furthermore,BDNF was positive-ly correlated with spine density in all regions (P <0.05).Conclusion BDNF-trkBsignalingpathway mediates ketamine-induced therapeutic effects in dia-betic neuropathic pain.

ObjectiveTo study possible mechanism through investigating the pathological and ultrastructural characters of secondary injury to perihematoma in intracerebral haemorrhage (ICH) rats.MethodsSprague Dawley male rats were subjected to ICH models. They were randomly divided into test group and control group. The rats in the test group were divided into 7 subgroups at 1h,3h,12h,24h,48h,72h and 7d after ICH; while those in control group were divided into 3 subgroups at 3h,24h,72h after saline injection. Each subgroup contained 5 rats. 2 rats from each group were stained by 2% triphenyltetrazolium chloride(TTC) to observe the pathological change.3 rats were picked up from each group to do optical microscope and electric microscope investigation on perihematoma tissue and ipsilateral cortex.ResultsHematoma tissue was demonstrated as black brown by TTC staining, no white infarcted area was detected around hematoma. In addition, there was a transitional zone between hematoma and normal tissue under microscopy; the involved tissue looked loose with varied edematous cells. Astrocytes appeared swollen and neural cells looked degenerated and necrosis. Meanwhile, capillary hyperplasia around hematoma with foot plate swollen were detected, no remarkable neural cells change was observed. 24 h after blood injection, astrocytes started to swell, part of them became degenerated and necrosis. Neural cells appeared mild degenerated and blood brain barrier were destroyed. 72 h after ICH, astrocytes showed highly swollen with neural cells degenerated.ConclusionSecondary injury to perihematoma has been identified and the pathological and ultrastructural changes have been observed.

Abstract：In recent years，the outbreak and prevalence of respiratory infectious diseases in the world seriously endanger human health，among which the respiratory infectious diseases caused by viral infection account for a large proportion. The use of vaccines and common antiviral drugs is an effective way to fight viral infection，but there are also problems such as lag and drug resistance. Monoclonal antibodies against respiratory viral infections provide a new strategy for clinical treatment. This paper reviews the development of monoclonal antibody against respiratory virus and its application in respiratory viral infectious diseases. Objective To investigate the changes of sympathovagal balance and the effects of va- gus stimulation on sympathovagal balance in endotoxemia rats.Methods Twenty-four Spragne Dawley rats were randomly divided into four groups.The frequency domain of heart rate variability(HRV)com- ponent was analyzed at 0 min,2 ,4 and 6 hours after intravenous injection of lipopolysaccharide(LPS, 5mg/kg)or physiologic saline,and cervical vagal nerve was stimulated(5mv,2ms,1Hz,5 min lasted, 20 min interval)when LPS or physiologic saline was injected.The levels of Noepinephine(NE)and Ace- tylcholin(ACh)were measured in liver tissues.Results Normalized low frequency(LFnm),hormali- zed high frequency(HFnm),very low frequency(VLF),LF/HF values and liver ACh were significantly increased(P＜0.05)and the level of liver NE was significantly decreased (P＜0.05)after LPS admin- istration.Vagal nerve stimulation markedly increased HFnm but decreased LFnm,VLF,LF/HF values, and the liver ACh also significant increased(P＜0.05 ).Conclusion The results suggest that the ac- tivity of sympathetic and vagal nerve was increased during endotoxemia,but the sympathetic activity was more excitable than that of vagal nerve.Vagal nerve stimulation increased the tone of vagus nerve while the tone of sympathetic nerve was decreased in this study.This may be beneficial for anti-inflammatory activity of vagal nerve.
