Chongqing Medicine 2013;(21):2468-2469
Objective To explore the impact of placenta polypeptide injection on fracture healing time and the incidence of infec-tion in patients with limb fractures .Methods 138 cases with limb fractures admitted to our hospital from February 2010 to Febru-ary 2012 were randomly divided into two groups ,and each group had 69 patients .The control group was given conventional treat-ment while the observation group was given placenta polypeptide injection on the basis of the conventional treatment .The bone healing time and infection rates were observed .Results The limbs fracture healing time of observation group was significantly shorter than that of control group (P<0 .05) .The infection rate of observation group (1 .45% ) was significantly lower than that of control group (10 .14% ,P<0 .05) .Conclusion The placenta polypeptide injection for treatment of limb fractures can effectively decrease fracture healing time ,and significantly reduce the rate of infection .
3.Inhibitive Effect of Interleukin-4,-10 on Cell Apoptosis in Rats with Renal Ischemic-Reperfusion Injury
Journal of Applied Clinical Pediatrics 1992;0(05):-
Objective To study the inhibitive effect of interleukin-4(IL-4) and (or) IL-10 on cell apoptosis of renal ischemic-reperfusion injury(IRI) in rats and its mechanism. Methods Thirty female Sprague-Dawley rats were divided into five groups(n=6): sham-operated group,operation+9 g/L NaCl control (NaCl group),operation+IL-4(IL-4 group),operation+IL-10(IL-10 group),operation+ IL-4+IL-10 (IL-4+IL-10 group). The animal model of IRI was set up by clamping bilateral renal pedicles for 45 min. When the clamp was loosed, relevant agents was injected in every group. Apoptosis of renal epithelial cells (TUNEL method) was obserued. Results IL-4 could not reduce level of apoptosis of renal epithelial cells. To some extent,IL-10 could reduce level of renal epithelial cells. The combination of IL-4 and IL-10 was more effective in inhibiting apoptosis of renal epithelial cells. Conclusion The combination of IL-4 and IL-10 is effective in inhibiting apoptosis of renal epithelial cells, indicating that it has a relationship in preventing renal histological and functional damage.

International Journal of Laboratory Medicine 2009;30(6):558-561
Objective To observe critical patients with thrombocytopenia, and exam their coagulation function,so as to diagnose disseminated intravascular coagulation(DIC)in the early stage. Methods Totally 56 critical patients complicated with thrombocytopenia were enrolled in the investigation;complete set of DIC tests were performed.A total of 26 cases were diagnosed as DIC according to the criteria from the International Society of Thrombosis Haemostasis(ISTH).The sensitivity, specificity, accuracy, likelihood ratio, predictive value of prothrombin time(PT),activated partial thromboplastin time(APTT),thrombin time(TT),fibrinogen(Fg),antithrombin Ⅲ and bleeding signs(including petechia and ecchymosia)were calculated by applying fourfold table. Results The specificity of PT prolongation and Fg reduction was 87.0%;the sensitivity of ATⅢ decrease, and each of PT prolongation,Fg reduction, and bleeding(including petechia and ecchymosis)were as high as 96.0%.Conclusion Multi-markers based on thrombocytopenia are likely to improve sensitivity and specificity of DIC diagnosis.

[Objective]To study the mechanism of posterior longitudinal ligament in cervical spine through measuring the collagen and Proteoglycan and Calcium changes.[Method]Fifteen specimens of cervical longitudinal ligament from cervical spondylotic myelopathy(CSM)and ten control specimens from corpses without cervical spondylosis were obtained. The content of the collagen was measured by Weossner method.Collagen type Ⅰ and Ⅱ were measured by Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbentassay(ELISA)method.Phloroglucinol spectrophotometer to determine the change of amount of Proteoglycan. The Calcium by Methyl-Thymes-Blue(MTB)Colorimetric Method. The specimens were treated hy Hematoxylin and Eosin(HE)stain method and by Masson stain method, the pathological changes of two groups were observed through microscopy.[Result]In CSM,as compared to the control groups, there showed a decrease in the contents of the total Collagen,Collagen type Ⅰ and Proteoglycan, and increase in the content of collagen type Ⅱ.The rate of type Ⅰ/Ⅱ in CSM was lower than that in control groups. An increase in the content of the Calcium. All of which have statistic significance(P

Chinese Journal of Interventional Cardiology 1993;0(02):-
Objective To determine the efficacy of stent based rapamycin (Rapa) and methotrexate (MTX) alone or in combination of them to reduce in stent neointimal hyperplasia Rapamycin is a potent immunosuppressive agent that inhibits smooth muscle cell (SMC) proliferation by blocking cell cycle progression Methods Stents were coated with PLGA (poly/lactic co glycolic acid) polymer containing 68-96 ?g Rapa or 250-300 ?g MTX or 58-81 ?g Rapa and 120-170 ?g MTX respectively Twenty five stents (metal, n =8; MTX, n =5; Rapa, n =7; Rapa and MTX, n =5) were implanted in the coronary arteries of 25 pigs Results After 28 days, the mean neointimal thickness was (2 18?1 03) mm 2 in the bare metal stent group; (0 94?0 88) mm 2 in the Rapa group; (0 47?0 24) mm 2 in the combination Rapa and MTX group, (3 93?1 48) mm 2 in the MTX group Compared with metal group the mean neointimal thickness was significantly decresed in Rapa groups and combined group The in stent restenosis was 25% (2/8) in metal group and 80% (4/5) in MTX group after 28 days, and there was no restenosis in the other two groups Conclusion Stent based delivery of Rapa via PLGA polymer can feasibly and effectively reduce in stent neointimal hyperplasia by inhibiting cellular proliferation However there are no effects to reduce in stent neointimal hyperplasia by MTX eluting stents in this study

OBJECTIVE To observe the therapeutic effectiveness and safety of the indigenous teicoplanin in intensive care unit(ICU) patients with severe infections of Gram-positive(G+) cocci.METHODS Sixty patients with severe Gram-positive bacteria infection received teicoplanin which was produced by Xinchang Pharmaceutical Factory of Zhejiang Medicine Co,Ltd.by infusion for 7-14 d.Dosage was adjusted according to the creatinine clearance rate.Maximum temperature,APACHEⅡ score, indicators of inflammatory response, liver and kidney function, microbiologic examination and adverse reactions were observed before treatment and the end of 7-14 day treatment.RESULTS Seventy-two strains of Gram-positive cocci were isolated from 60 patients,in which meticillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus(MRSA),meticillin-resistant S.epidermidis(MRSE),Enterococcus faecium,E.faecalis,S.haemolyticus and E.gallinarum accounted for 58.33%,8.33%,16.67%,5.56%,8.33% and 2.78%,respectively.After treatment,59 strains of Gram-positive cocci were eliminated while 13 strains were not eliminated and bacteriological eliminated rate(calculated by strains) was 86.1%;In this group,twenty-eight patients were cured while twenty-two cases were markedly improved. The total bacteriological eliminated rate was 81.94%.The incidence of adverse reactions was low and only a slight increase or decrease in platelet count was observed which didn′t require special treatment interventions.CONCLUSIONS Indigenous teicoplanin has certain therapeutic effectiveness and is safe for severe Gram-positive bacteria infected patients, particularly for septic patients with organ damage in ICU.In patients highly suspected with meticillin-resistant staphylococci or enterococci infection, teicoplanin may be a choice for initial empirical treatment.
