Because of the aggressive threaten of heat stroke and a lack of understanding of the mechanism of action, mammal animal models for experimental heat stroke were well developed. During the past 5 decades, anesthetized mouse, rat, rabbit, dog, baboon and monkey were used as animal model for experimental heat stroke. However, anesthetized mammals models have some limitations, such as neuroprotective effect of anesthetic agents, possible disturbance on injury and recovery of stroke animals by anesthetic agents, difficulty of discussing animal behavior before and after heat stroke, it was also difficult for the models to evaluate cognitive function of animal under hot environment. Considering humanitarian, only awaked and unrestrained mouse heat stroke model was accepted so far. Therefore, we also developed an awaked and unrestrained rat heat stroke model, and found it was helpful to evaluate drug effectiveness for animal behavior and cognitive function under hot environment.

Chinese Journal of General Surgery 2013;28(8):576-578
Objective To investigate the surgical approach for adult patients with presacral cystic teratoma. Methods In this study,16 female patients, aged at 26-45 years, with presacral cystic teratoma underwent surgical resection between March 2007 and August 2012.Tumor was primary in 9 cases and recurrent in 7 cases,Rectal examination revealed retrorectal tough semi-circular poorly movable massess with intact rectal mucosa.MR examination showed cystic or solid mass in the anterior sacral, clear boundary, rectum and or vagina compressed.Tumors were completely removed in all cases. Results All patients were cured by surgery,13 cases were cured by one stage resection and 1 was cured by two stage resection. Two cases suffered from recurrence and was cured by reoperation. There were no injury to rectum, anal sphincter, cauda equina, presacral vein.Pathological diagnosis was cystic teratoma. Conclusions By sacrococcygeal surgical resection of presacral cystic teratoma was safe and effective ; complete resection of the tumor capsule is the key to successful operation.

Objective To explore the factors in frequency and degree of risk behavior in adolescents,as well find the way to cope with adolescent mental health. Methods 1369 middle students and college students were measured by Risky Behavior Questionnaire for Adolescents (RBQ-A) ,and analyzed the data. Results (1) There were statistically significant among the different age in difference of risky behaviors except aggressive and/or violent behaviors. Males scored higher than females in unsafe sexual practices, aggressive and/or violent behaviors, dangerous,destructive,and/or illegal behaviors, alcohol and/or drug use and smoking(P<0.05 orP<0.01). Students in city scored higher than rural students in dangerous,destructive,and/or illegal behaviors and alcohol and/or drug use(P<0.05 or P< 0.01). Families with high income scored higher than low income in unsafe sexual practices and rule breaking(P< 0.05 or P< 0.01). Families with low income scored higher than high income residences in dangerous,destructive,and/or illegal behaviors and alcohol and/or drug use(P < 0.05 or P < 0.01). (2) The significant differences were existed in unsafe sexual practices, aggressive and/or violent behaviors, dangerous, destructive,and/or illegal behaviors, alcohol and/or drug use and smoking between males and females (P<0.05 or P<0.01).The significant differences were existed in dangerous,destructive,and/or illegal behaviors and alcohol and/or drug use between groups of 16 years old and 14 ~ 15 years old (P < 0. 05 or P < 0. 01). The significant differences were existed in dangerous,destructive,and/or illegal behaviors between urban and rural students (P< 0.05 orP<0.01).The significant differences were existed in total scores in gender and urban and rural(P<0.05 or P<0.01). Conclusion The significant differences are existed in rate of risky behaviors in gender, age, urban and rural. But there is different degree existed in it.

Pathology is the bridge of medicine between basic and clinic. It is needed for the graduate students of pathology to supplement the study of surgical pathology that is lacked now for adaptation to the employment situation as the qualified personnel in the field.
9. Simultaneous determination of five active components in Danxiong Tongmai Granule by HPLC
Chinese Traditional and Herbal Drugs 2014;45(19):2793-2796
Objective: To establish an HPLC method for the content determination of salvianolic acid B, fumalic acid, hydroxysafflor yellow A, gallic acid, and caffeic acid in Danxiong Tongmai Granule. Methods: The determination was carried out by HPLC, using Thermo ODS-2 Hypersil (250 mm×4.6 mm, 5 μm) chromatographic column. The mobile phase was 0.1% acetic acid solution-methyl alcohol, gradient elution, and UV detection wavelength was set at 286 nm. The column temperature was set at 30 ℃. The injection volume was 10 μL. Results: Under the above chromatographic conditions, there was a good linearity between the absorption peak area and the concentration in the ranges of 3.18-50.88 μg/mL (r=0.9990) for salvianolic acid B, 2.00-32.00 μg/mL (r=0.9995) for fumalic acid, 6.00-96.00 (r=0.9996) for hydroxysafflor yellow A, 0.60-9.60 μg/mL (r=0.9994) for gallic acid, and 1.00-16.00 μg/mL (r=0.9995) for caffeic acid, respectively. Conclusion: This method is simple, fast, accurate, reliable, and reproducible, and it is proper for the content determination of salvianolic acid B, fumalic acid, hydroxysafflor yellow A, gallic acid, and caffeic acid in Danxiong Tongmai Granule at the same time.

Objective To study the role of P53 target gene TIGAR on proliferation ,migration and invasion of lung cancer cells . Methods siRNA was introduced to knock down TIGAR in A 549 cells .Proliferation was detected by CCK-8 .The ability of migra-tion and invasion was measured by and ,respectively .was used to evaluate the expression levels of related proteins .Results Knock-down of TIGAR reduced the proliferation rate (P< 0 .05) ,inhibited the ability of migration and invasion ,decreased expression levels of MMP-2 and MM P-9 .Conclusion TIGAR promotes proliferation ,migration and invasiveness of lung cancer cells .
