To detect and phylogeneticaly analyze arenavirus carried by wild rodents in Ningbo ,China ,two pairs of degener‐ate‐primers were designed to amplify the S and L gene of arenavirus ,and then RT‐PCR was applied to detect arenavirus carried by rodents which captured from Ningbo port area .All 73 rodents samples were detected ,of which 12 Rattus norvegicus were positive ,an arenavirus virus strain named DX1401 were separated .The S gene amplified products of DX1401 was about 413 bp ,and the L gene was 1 204 bp .The phylogenetic analysis of S segments showed that DX1401 strain was in one branch of phylogenetic tree with Mobala virus strain ACAR3080 .The genetic distance to Mobala virus strain ACAR3080 was the closest , with the value of 0 .467 ;the phylogenetic analysis of L segments showed that DX1401 strain were in one group of phylogenetic tree with Lassa virus strain Josiah ,NL ,Z148 ,Bamba‐R114 ,Soromba‐R ,Nig08‐A37 ,Nig08‐A47 ,Mobala virus strain ACAR3080 ,Morogoro virus strain 13017/2004 ,Mopeia virus strain Mozambique ,and AN 21366‐BNI .The genetic distance to Mobala virus strain ACAR3080 was the closest ,with the value of 6 .953 .In conclusion ,the study confirmed the existence of arenavirus popular in wild rodents in Ningbo ,China .

Objective To study the clinical characteristics, diagnosis and treatment of 8 children with primary ileum cecum malignant lymphoma. Methods Retrospective analysis on the clinical and pathology materials of 8 children with primary ileum cecum malignant lymphoma was performed. Results Primary ileum cecum malignant lymphom′s clinical experience had no characteristic, and radical operation was main treatment method.Chemothereapy got well to some extents.Pathology and immunity tissue chemical were B cell malignant lymphoma. Conclusions Child primary ileum cecum malignant lymphoma lack specific manifestations, and histopathology is main diagnosis methods. They have good response to binding treatment of early operation and chemothereapy.

Objective To explore the culturing strategies, curiculum provision, courses conferring methods, teaching effects as well as the associated managerial evaluations on the basis of Sino-French cooperation on medical education with the hope of summarizing helpful suggestions to Sino-Foreign cooperation on medical education. Methods The achievements of our Sino-French cooperation on medical education were analyzed and compared in the teaching models, culturing strategies along with courses conferring processes among seven-year medical students from both English-teaching and French-teaching classes. Results Our Sino-French cooperation on medical education was featured in its distinct culturing purposes and effective teaching model. Its scientifically formulated culturing strategy found its full expression in French-teaching atmosphere. The Sino-French cooperation on medical education was consistently welcomed and favorably recommended by both faculties and students. Conclusion The Sino-French cooperation on medical education has not only gained precious experience in culturing the cutting-edge medical talents with the international visions but also conduced to fulfill the goal to establish a modernized and internationalized medical school.

·AlM: To investigate pathogeny and effects of surgery on paralytic strabismus.
· METHODS: A retrospective study was done in 46 patients with paralytic strabismus who underwent squint correction in our hospital from June 2010 to June 2013. Among 26 horizontal strabismus, the cases of extra rectus palsy was 16, internal rectus palsy was 10.Among all20 vertical strabismus, the cases of superior oblique palsy, superior rectus palsy, inferior rectus palsy, double elevator palsy counted for 7, 8, 2 and 3, respectively. Pathogenesis: trauma was 19 cases, followed by 10 cases that the causes could not be identified.Nine was congen ital paralytic strabismus, 8 o ccurred after nose or brain surgery. The surgery methods included rectus muscle recession, rectus muscle resection, partial rectus muscle transposition, Jensen procedure, inferior oblique myectomy and anterior transposition of inferior oblique. Statistical software SPSS10.0 was used in chi-square test between two groups, while the situation of paralysis eye movements improved by two methods in the horizontal strabismus group was compared with t test.
· RESULTS: Among all horizontal strabismus the rate of cure, improvement and inefficiency was 20 ( 77%) , 5 ( 19%) and 1 ( 4%) , respectively. Among vertical strabismus the ratio of cure, improvement and inefficiency was 15 (75%), 3 (15%) and 2 (10%).There was no significantly difference between the two groups ( P >0.05 ). The movements of paralytic eyes were improved. Two procedures used in horizontal strabismus, can improve paralysis eye movements were 3.76 ±0.91, 3.72 ±0.84mm, with no significant difference (P=0.93) statistically.
· CONCLUSlON: Paralytic strabismus in adults had complicated conditions. Choosing different operation methods in treating paralytic strabismus according to the degree of paralysis can result in satisfactory cosmetically alignment of the eyes and modify head position and diplopia.

Objective To analyze the sensitivity of clinical isolates of Candida albicans to flucona- zole,to detect mutations in their ERG11 genes, and to investigate the correlation between ERG11 gene mutation and resistance to fluconazole. Methods Candida albicans was identified from clinical isolates of Candida spp..The sensitivity to fluconazole was detected in vitro by microdilution-basesd method and Rosco tablets method.Three pairs of primers were designed to amplify three fragments of ERG11 gene(483 bps, from 295 bp to777 bp;482bps,from 723 bp to 1204 bp;489 bps, from 1179 bp to 1667 bp)after the extracting of genomic DNA.PCR products were sequenced. Results Eighty clinical isolates of Candida spp.were collected, which included 52 isolates of Candida albicans, all of which were sensitive to flucona- zole.Nineteen mutations were detected in ERG11 gene of 5 fluconazole-sensitive clinical isolates.Of the 19 mutations,14 were samesense mutations, and the remaing 5 missense mutations(T495A,A530C, G640A,A945C and G1609A),resulting in amino acid substitution D116E,K128T,E165K,E266D and V488I,respectively in lanosterol 14 alpha-demethylase.E165K was a novel mutation. Conclusions The clinical isolates of Candida albicans were highly sensitive to fluconazole;E165K and V488I might not lead to the resistance of Candida albicans to fluconazole.

Objective To investigate the inhibitory effect and the effect on cell proliferation and apoptosis of artemether(ART) on human gastric adenocarcinoma cell lines and pancreatic cancer cell lines in vitro. Methods The inhibitory effect of ART on human gastric cancer cell lines(SGC-7901 and MKN-45) and human pancreatic cancer cell lines(SW-1990 and BXPC-3) were detected by MTT assay, and the effect on cell cycle and apoptosis were evaluated by flow cytometry. Results It was indicated by MTT assay that the killing effect of ART on the cancer cell lines were positively correlated to time and dosage(P
