Objective To evaluate the morphological and signal intensity changes after anterior cruciate ligament reconstruction , and to analyze the correlations between MRI evaluation and clinical examination .Methods Totally 34 patients who underwent anterior cruciate liga-ment reconstruction in our hospital from July 2013 to June 2015 were given MRI examination .The morphology ,orientation and signal intensity of the anterior cruciate ligament grafts were evaluated on axial ,sagittal and coronal images .The grafts were assessed with Rak method ,and the clinical assessment was adopted with physical assessment method ,including drawer test ,axial shift test and Lachman test .The correlations be-tween MRI evaluation and clinical examination results were further analyzed by SPSS 16.0.Results After anterior cruciate ligament recon-struction,79%of the graft were visualized as a smoothly continuous low signal (well-defined type),15%of the graft showed increased signal intensity with only a small part of low signal bands ( intermediate type ) ,and 6% of the grafts showed remarkably increased signal intensity (indiscernible type).A statistically significant correlation was identified in MRI evaluation and clinical examination results (P<0.05). Spearman’ s correlation coefficient was 0.747 2 which indicating significantly positive correlation .Conclusion Magnetic resonance imaging is a noninvasive high-resolution imaging technology and it is an effective tool for evaluating anterior cruciate ligament reconstruction .

Protozoans,the natural host of the facultative intracellular pathogen Legionella species,play an important role in survival,proliferation,virulence and stress resistance of Legionella species. By repeating transformation and selection,a spontaneous mutant of plasmid over expressing green fluorescent protein was obtained. This mutant replicates and is maintained stably in Legionella cells. The colonies of L. pneumophila harbouring the mutated plasmid were intense green in colour even under the daylight. After feeding BF1 strain of Tetrahymena thermophila with transformed L. pneumophila,the intracellular dynamic of changing of bacterial shape,bacterial proliferation and lysis of the host cell due to the bacterial proliferation were observed clearly under fluorescent microscopy. Thus,the present paper provides a simple and intuitionistic strategy for investigating the ecological and cellular relationship between L. pneumophila and its host.

BACKGROUND:Individualized percutaneous cannulated screws fixation with the help of computer-assisted design and cast immobilization are common methods for treating nondisplaced wrist scaphoid fracture. However their clinical outcomes are stil unclear. ＜br> OBJECTIVE:To compare the clinical results of individualized percutaneous cannulated screws fixation with the help of computer-assisted design and cast immobilization for treatment of Herbert type Ib scaphoid fracture. ＜br> METHODS:A total of 36 patients with fresh Herbert type Ib scaphoid fracture were divided into two groups, individualized percutaneous cannulated screws fixation with the help of computer-assisted design group (screw group, 20 cases) and cast immobilization group (cast group, 16 cases). In the screw group, cannulated screws were inserted using 0.8 mm kirschner wires from scaphoid tuberosity based on the preoperative individualization fixation parameters. The direction of the wires was guided under C-arms and Herbert screws were percutaneously immobilized after fluoroscopy. In the cast group, radial deviation and palmar flexion plaster casts were immobilized for 3 months. The time of bone union, rate of bone nonunion, time return to work, wrist motion were recorded and compared in the fol ow-up. ＜br> RESULTS AND CONCLUSION:Al cases were fol owed for 10-24 months. Al patients in the screw fixation group and 13 out of 16 patients in the cast group achieved bone union. The average time of bone union of the two groups was 6 weeks and 14 weeks respectively (P＜0.001). The time of returning to work was 7.6 weeks and 16.8 weeks respectively, with significant differences between the two groups (P＜0.001). The range of motion of screw fixation group at the final fol ow-up was 96.4°-114.4°, average 104.4°, which was significantly higher than that in the cast group (66.4°-104.2°, average 94.2°;P＜0.001). Individualized percutaneous cannulated screws fixation with the help of computer-assisted design can provide mini-invasion, high accuracy and good reproducibility, has better results than cast immobilization in the treatment of Herbert typeⅠscaphoid fractures.

Objective To explore the risk factors for asthma in children.Methods A 1:1 matched and hospital-based case-control study was conducted to analyses risk factors for asthma in 300 pairs of children by logistic regression analysis. Results The result of univariate Logistic regression analysis showed that there were 17 related factors for children asthma, including disease history of parents in respiratory system,family income,atopie character,history of acute respiratory infections, eating habit,the amount of sea foods intakes,foam plastics,family decoration,the way of exhaust fume in kitchen,the exhaust effectiveness,raising pet in house,family history of asthma,family history of allergic rhinitis,family history of food allergy,dust allergy of parents,systemic therapy after the first attack.With multivariate Logistic regression analysis,7 factors were entered the model,6 risk factors including father's history of respiratory diseases(OR 3.771,95%CI 1.533～9.278),low family income(OR 1.503, 95%CI 1.258～1.795),atopy(OR 3.788,95%CI 2.368～6.058),meat-eating habit(OR 2.042,95%CI 1.481～2.815),asthma history of family members(OR 1.710,95%CI 0.988～2.958),the family history of allergic rhinitis(OR 1.991,95%CI 1.234～3.211), and 1 protective factor of raising pet in house(OR 0.443,95%CI 0.265～0.739).The coefficients of these factors in multivariate logistic regression model were 1.327、0.407、1.322、0.714、0.536、0.689、and-0.814 respectively.Conclusion Children asthma was a multi-factorial complex disease,and the interaction of environmental and genetic risk factors played an important role in the onset of this disease.

A UPLC method has been developed in the current investigation for simultaneous determination of nine chemical markers of Bletilla striata, 4-hydroxymethylphenyl beta-D-glucoside, blestroside, dactylorhin A, militarine, dihydrophenanthrene 5, gymnoside V, dihydrophenanthrene 1, benzylphenanthrene 3 and gymnosides IX. Separation was performed at 45 degrees C on an ACQUITY UPLC BEH C18 column (2.1 mm x 150 mm, 1.7 microm) with a gradient solvent system of acetonitrile-water as the mobile phase. The flow rate was 0.3 mL x min(-1), the detection wavelength was 280 nm. The results showed that the nine chemical markers could be well resolved and that in the selected linear range, all calibration curves of the nine chemical markers showed good linearity (r > or = 0.999 3). The recoveries (n = 6) were in the range of 98.15% - 102.2% and RSDs were between 2.1% - 3.6%. The data suggested that the developed UPLC-UV method had good reproducibility, robustness, and accuracy, which was suitable for the quality control of Bletilla striata. Applications of the method showed that the nine chemical markers had higher contents in the wild B. striata than in the cultivated ones.

OBJECTIVETo summarize clinical application of the distal island muscle flap of the gastrocnemius muscle for repairing the defects around knee and within the upper 2/3 of lower leg.

METHODS18 patients with defects around knee and within the upper 2/3 of lower leg, were treated with the distal island muscle flap of the gastrocnemius muscle, including 12 cases with medial muscle head and 6 cases with lateral muscle head. The muscular flaps were covered with meshed split-thickness skin grafts. The wound at donor sites were closed directly.

RESULTSAll the skin grafts and muscle flaps survived with superior infection at the wound edge in two cases. The patients were followed up for 8 months to 4.8 years with satisfactory cosmetic and functional results.

CONCLUSIONSThe distal island muscle flap of the gastrocnemius muscle has a reliable blood supply, long pedicle and suitable thickness. It is an ideal method for repairing the defects around knee and within the upper 2/3 of lower leg.

OBJECTIVETo study the technical conditions of the extraction and purification of the active composition from Polygonum orientale and Crataegus pinnatifida Bge. in Hongye Xingtong soft capsules with the macroporous resin.

METHODThe orientm, isorientm and hyperoside were used as index to screen the five kinds of resins. And the technical conditions of the enrichment and purification of D101 resin selected out of above were all-round studied.

RESULTThe D101 was fit for adsorbing orientm, isorientm and hyperoside. Under the optimal conditions, the transfer rate of orientm, isorientm and hyperoside was above 91%, and the total solid was cut down by more than 60%.

CONCLUSIONThe D101 is greatly effective for the enrichment and purification of the active composition of P. orientale and C. pinnatifida Bge.
