Currently, the basic network resource of the entire traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) industry is fragmented. Issues of data unify are not easily resolved. It seems that there is no new breakthrough in key technologies, especially on the problem of data sharing and resources' integration. In this context, a method of medical information data sharing is advocated to solve the problem. We use the RESTful style to define resources of the pharmaceutical industry, which is based on the UDDI Web services standards. The objective of this paper is to create a method of TCM resource URL defined and exchanged. Finally, this paper provided an easy way for TCM data network sharing.

AIMTo search for flavonoids which possess stronger vasorelaxation action.

METHODSFour quercetin glycosides (1a - d) were synthesized from quercetin in three steps i. e. selective protection of quercetin, condensation with corresponding acetyiglycosyl bromide, and then removal of the protecting group; Six flavone compounds (2a - f) were prepared from phloroglucinol according to the conventional methods; The structures of synthetic compounds were confirmed by IR, 1H NMR, 13C NMR and MS. Vasorelaxation action of ten synthetic quercetin derivatives (or analogues) and four natural flavonoids compounds were examined on the isolated rat thoracic aorta rings; Comparative octanol-water partition coefficients (logP) were measured using a reversed-phase HPLC method.

RESULTSMost of the tested flavonoids showed concentration dependent relaxation effects against PE-induced contractions of rat aortic rings. These compounds had stronger action with the augment of logP values.

CONCLUSIONCompound 3-bromo-5 ,7-dihydroxyflavone (2d) was identified to have the most potent vasodilating action. These compounds exert vasodilating effects that are related to the logP values. A structure-activity relationship of flavonoids was suggested.

Objective To study the characteristics of heterotopic heart transplantation by echocardiographyand evaluate the heart function and acute rejection.Methods Five male 49-61 years old patients with heterotopic heart transplantation were studied using echocardiography pre-,intra-,post～operation and at follow-up.The anastomoses of great vessels of recipient with donor heart,chamber size,left ventricular wall thickness with wallmotion.left ventricular ejection fraction(LVEF),valvular function,pulmonary artery pressure,pericardial and pleural effusion were observed.Results All patients were end-stage coronary artery disease with NYHA class of received heterotopic heart transplantation with coronary artery bypass grafting.Some patients received mitral valvuloplasty,ventricular aneurysmectomy and stem cell transplantation simultaneously.During the operation,intra-operation transesophageal echocardiography was used to monitor and evaluate the surgical procedure with chamber sizes,anastomoses,native with donor heart ventricular and valvular function,and air bubble in chambers.The cardiac functions of donor heart backed to normal post operation,while the functions of recipient heart were increased gradually.All patients survived in 6 months and one year follow-up,with significantly improved functions of heart in situ[LVEF(44.0±15.6)%].The main reject reaction was small pericardial perfusion and pleural effusion.Conclusions Heterotopic heart transplantation has distinctive characteristics with echocardiography study,which is also an important technique in evaluation at pre-,intra-,post-operation and also at follow-up.

Objective To research the clinical application of split dorsal pedal flap for the repair of round-like soft tissue defect. Methods Design a long-strip dorsal pedal flap with slightly larger area than cutaneous deficiency,cut off the flap to the layer of superficial fascia along the suitable line degined in the middle of flap,and then rotate and reshape the split flap to resemble recipient area,and cover the wound surface based on pedical flap or free grafting;Meanwhile,donor area in dorsum of foot can be sutured directly.Results All the 5 cases of flap were survived,including one case which was free grafted and the others which were rotated locally, as well,donor area in dorsum of foot was satisfied because the cutting edge could be sutured directly. Conclusion It is a laudable modus operandi on account of beautiful outlook of both recipient and donor area.

Background Hyaluronic acid is a mucopolysaccharide existing in extracellular matrix and having good biocompatibility.Using chemical crosslinking method can improve the physical properties of the material,so cross-linked hyaluronic has potential clinical application value.Objective The present study was to evaluate the histocompatibility and biological security of cross-linked hyaluronic acid as ophthalmic implant material.Methods Cross-linked hyaluronic acid implant material was prepared according to the criteria of Biological Evaluation of Medical Devices (GB/T16886.5-2003).Eighteen 8-week-old male New Zealand white rabbits were randomized into the experimental group and the control group.Cross-linked hyaluronic acid material with 5.0 mm diameter was implanted into corneal stroma interlaminationally in the experimental group,and only corneal stromal interlaminational pocket was made without any implanting material in the control group.Biological response of cornea was assessed in vivo from 1 week through 3 months after operation by slit lamp microscope.The corneas were obtained 2 weeks,1 month and 3 months respectively for histopathological examination.Mouse embryonic fibroblasts were cultured in cross-linked hyaluronic acid film plate,medical silicone material culture plate and regular culture plate respectively for 24 hours,and the cell growth state and morphology were observed under the inverted microscope and scan electron microscope.MTT assay was used to test the relative growth rate of the cultured cells 48 hours after cultured using extracted liquid of hyaluronic acid implant material.Results Cross-linked hyaluronic acid implant material showed a well healing to the corneas of rabbits during the observation duration,without obvious inflammatory response and neovascularization.The arrangement of stromal fibers was uniform in order,and no infiltration of inflammatory cells was seen under the light microscope.The cells grew well after cultured with cross-linked hyaluronic acid film and regular medium for 24 hours,but in the silicone culture group,fewer of adherent cells and more floating cells were found.The relative growth rate of the cells was 87.50％ 48 hours after cultured with extracted liquid of hyaluronic acid implant material.Conclusions The cross-linked hyaluronic acid material has good histocompatibility and biological security in rabbit cornea tissue.

·AlM: To investigate pathogeny and effects of surgery on paralytic strabismus.
· METHODS: A retrospective study was done in 46 patients with paralytic strabismus who underwent squint correction in our hospital from June 2010 to June 2013. Among 26 horizontal strabismus, the cases of extra rectus palsy was 16, internal rectus palsy was 10.Among all20 vertical strabismus, the cases of superior oblique palsy, superior rectus palsy, inferior rectus palsy, double elevator palsy counted for 7, 8, 2 and 3, respectively. Pathogenesis: trauma was 19 cases, followed by 10 cases that the causes could not be identified.Nine was congen ital paralytic strabismus, 8 o ccurred after nose or brain surgery. The surgery methods included rectus muscle recession, rectus muscle resection, partial rectus muscle transposition, Jensen procedure, inferior oblique myectomy and anterior transposition of inferior oblique. Statistical software SPSS10.0 was used in chi-square test between two groups, while the situation of paralysis eye movements improved by two methods in the horizontal strabismus group was compared with t test.
· RESULTS: Among all horizontal strabismus the rate of cure, improvement and inefficiency was 20 ( 77%) , 5 ( 19%) and 1 ( 4%) , respectively. Among vertical strabismus the ratio of cure, improvement and inefficiency was 15 (75%), 3 (15%) and 2 (10%).There was no significantly difference between the two groups ( P >0.05 ). The movements of paralytic eyes were improved. Two procedures used in horizontal strabismus, can improve paralysis eye movements were 3.76 ±0.91, 3.72 ±0.84mm, with no significant difference (P=0.93) statistically.
· CONCLUSlON: Paralytic strabismus in adults had complicated conditions. Choosing different operation methods in treating paralytic strabismus according to the degree of paralysis can result in satisfactory cosmetically alignment of the eyes and modify head position and diplopia.

Theacrine is one kind of natural purine alkaloids, which mainly exists in an unusual Chinese tea known as Kucha. It shows various biological activities, such as anti-depression, sedative and hypnotic effects and anti-inflammatory and analgesic activi-ties. The study on theacrine dates back to a few decades ago. According to the references published in recent years, the resource, preparation, characterization and pharmacological effects of theacrine were reviewed, and its application prospect was also explored.

Objective To investigate the correlation of Bax and apoptosis in enterocytes of neonatal rats with necrotizing enterocolitis (NEC).Methods Forty-eight neonatal rats (1 day) were randomly divided into control group (n =24) and NEC model group (n =24) by use of odd and even.The rats in control group were maternal breast-fed.The rats in NEC model group were separated from their mothers.To be given formula feeding,cold exposure after hypoxic-reoxygenation treatment.The intestinal tissue located at the boundary of ileum and caecum of two groups were gained on the 24 h,48 h and 72 h with which that all rats were sacrificed by cutting neck.Section of intestinal tissue were stained with immunohistochemistry to detect the expression of Bax and were stained with TdT mediated dUTP nick end labeling(TUNEL) to evaluate the apoptosis in each group.Results The integrate optical density (IOD) value of expression of Bax in the NEC model group began to increase on the 24 h [(1 005.06-± 11.96) IOD] and reached the summit on the 72 h [(3 340.66 ±68.72)] compared with the control group[(666.55 ± 15.77)IOD].A few of TUNEL positive cells began to increase with time dependence.A lot of TUNEL positive cells could be found in NEC model group on the 24 h [(15.04 ± 0.24) ％],and the apoptotic index reached the peak on the 72 h [(35.65 ±0.61) ％] compared with the control group[(4.73 ±0.04) ％,P ＜0.01]-There was a significantly positive correlation between the cell apoptosis and the ratio change of Bax in NEC model group (r =0.94,P ＜ 0.01).Conclusion There is a significantly positive correlation between the cell apoptosis and the ratio change of Bax in enterocytes of neonatal rats with NEC.The cell apoptosis in enterocytes of neonatal rats with NEC maybe be induced by Bax.

Objective·To investigate effect and the possible molecular mechanism of JQ1,a specific inhibitor of bromodomain containing protein 4,on human hypertropic scar.Methods·Primary fibroblasts were isolated from human hypertrophic scars and treated with JQ-1 of different concentrations (0.1,0.5,1.0,2.0,2.5,and 12.5μmol/L) for 48 h.Then CCK-8 kit and wound healing assay were used to measure proliferation and migration of the fibroblasts.ELISA was adopted to detect the levels of collagen type Ⅰ (COL Ⅰ) and TGF-β1 after JQ-1 treatment for 24 h.Thirty-six nude mice were used for hypertrophic scar models.Human hypertrophic scars (1.0 cm× 1.0 cm×0.5 cm) were grafted subcutaneously at the backs of nude mice to establish scar animal models.After 4 weeks,the nude mice were averagely divided into two groups,i.e.JQ-1 group and DMSO group,which were respectively injected with 0.5 μmol/L JQ-1 and 0.1％ DMSO each mouse every day.COL Ⅰ / Ⅲ and α-smooth muscle actin (α-SMA) were examined by immunohistochemical method and sirius red staining.Results·Cell experiments showed that JQ-1 with the concentration of 0.5 μmol/L and above significantly inhibited proliferation of fibroblasts (P＜0.01).JQ-1 inhibited migration of fibroblast (P＜0.01).JQ-1 inhibited secretion of COL Ⅰ and TGF-β1 of fibroblasts (P＜0.01).Animal experiments showed that concentration and proportion of COL Ⅰ / Ⅲ in JQ-1 group decreased compared to DMSO group (P＜0.05).α-SMA protein expression in JQ-1 group also decreased (P＜0.05).Conclusion·JQ-1 can inhibit proliferation,migration,secretion of COL Ⅰ,and production of TGF-β1 of human sear fibroblasts in vitro;it can also inhibit secretion of COL Ⅰ /Ⅲ and fibroblast-myofibroblast differentiation in the human hypertrophic scars in nude mice.
