3.Theory Construction of the Attitudes Toward Gay Men and Lesbians in Chinese Context and Assessments in College Students
Chinese Journal of Clinical Psychology 1993;0(02):-
Objective:To develop the attitudes toward gay men and lesbians in Chinese context. Methods:Based on the sex differences in homosexual researches and the three factors of attitude, the initial Scale included two subscales of gay men and lesbians, and selected items from cognition, emotion and behavior;used the initial scale firstly to test 353 college students, then selected items through 4 methods;secondly, investigated 404 college students and 533 community residents with the ultimate scale in order to assess it in reliability and validity,10 days after the first testing session,193 students were re-tested.Results:Developed the attitudes toward lesbians and gay men scale of 20 items;the test-retest coefficients of total-scale was 0.959,the Cronbach's ? coefficient of the total-scale was 0.898,the split-half reliability was 0.912.Factor Analysis indicated there were three components in the scale including moral judgement, emotional reaction, and social communication. Conclusion:The attitudes toward lesbians and gay men scale has a high reliability and a good validity and can be used in researches of the public Attitudes toward homosexual.
4.Technology of supercritical CO_2 extraction process of Dragon's Blood
Chinese Traditional and Herbal Drugs 1994;0(06):-
Object To study the technology of supercritical CO_2 extraction of effective components from Dragon's Blood which has the inhibiting function on ?-glucosidase. Methods The influence of the extraction pressure, temperature, time and fluid velocity on surplus extraction rate and the improvement of inhibition was mainly discussed. Results The optimal experimental parameters were 15 MPa extraction pressure, 45 ℃ extraction temperature, 30 kg/h fluid velocity and 2 h extraction time. Conclusion The results show that SFE-CO_2 can enormously increase the surplus extraction rate and the inhibitory activities on ?-glucosidase.
5.Damage to medical safety brought about by job burnout and countermeasures
Chinese Journal of Hospital Administration 1996;0(03):-
The paper gives a brief account of the basic concept of job burnout and the current state of job burnout among physicians and nurses, analyzes the damage job burnout brings about to medical safety and the causes, further explains theories related to job burnout, and puts forward some countermeasures: ① enhancing understanding of job burnout and relevant measures of intervention;② making rational work arrangements so as to guarantee the sound interaction between people and work;③ implementing active psychological interventions so as to keep the employees in a sound psychological state;④ encouraging the employees to get involved in safety control so as to promote safe behavior over a long period of time.
6.Investigation on the running condition of defluoridation projects in Anyang City of Henan Province in 2006
Chinese Journal of Endemiology 2008;27(5):524-525
Objective To investigate the running condition of defluoridation projects and fluoride concentration in drinking-water in Anyang City of Henan Province. Methods Cluster sampfing of Anyang,Hua, Neihuang,Tangyin Counties emdimic fluomsis poining of Anyang City was conducted places of different orientation, about 1/3 towns in the selected examination towns had their defluoridation project investigated. Results Among 472 pwjects investigated,427 were running normally, accounting for 90.47%(427/472),only 9.53%(45/472)of the projects were out of service.68.62%(293/427)of the pwjects had normal fluoride concentration in drinking water, 31.38%(134/427)of the projects failed to do 80.In Hua County,41.00%(41/100)of the projects were out of service. In Neihuang County.70.39%(107/152)of the projects had abnormally high fluoride concentration in drinking water. Conclusions Defluoriding projects are out of service and fluoride concentration in drinking water exceeds the standard in Hua,Neihuang Counties of Anyang City.We must analyse the cause of it seriously, work out measures, promote a healthy and sustainable development of defluondation projects

Neurology Asia 2012;17(4):353-356
Limb-shaking transient ischemic attack (TIA), a rare manifestation, is commonly caused by severe
stenosis or occlusion of an extracranial internal carotid artery. Such patients are usually treated with
surgical revascularization or anti-platelet therapy. We present a 56-year-old woman with 6 months’
episodic attacks starting with mouth skewed to the right and a sensation of ‘weakness’ involving
predominantly her left arm, and at times, also involved the left leg. This was immediately followed by
rhythmic jerky movements of the left arm and at times, also involved the left leg. Magnetic resonance
angiography revealed severe stenosis of M1 segment of the right middle cerebral artery. The patient’s
symptoms were signifi cantly improved by treatment with anti-platelet drugs and nimodipine.
