2.On Harmonious Physician-Patient Relationship and Hospital Culture Construction
Chinese Medical Ethics 1995;0(02):-
A harmonious physician-patient relationship is closely correlated with hospital culture construction. This paper explores the correlation from the perspectives of roles in building up decent fame of hospitals, promoting the construction of medical ethics, cultivating a fine humanistic medical atmosphere, strengthening the social responsibility of hospitals, and further clarifies the important function of hospital culture construction in constructing a harmonious physician-patient relationship.
6.Nutrition Status of Premature Neonates in Early Postnatal Stage in Neonatal Intensive Care Unit
Journal of Applied Clinical Pediatrics 2006;0(14):-
Objective To study the nutrition status of premature infants in the early postnatal stage. Methods According to the physical development standard, the premature neonates for treatment in our NICU from Jun.2007 to Jun.2009 were enrolled and divided into normal growth group and extrauterine growth restriction(EUGR) group. The nutrition status of these premature neonates were evaluated respectively.SPSS 13.0 software was used to analyze the data. Results Compared with EUGR group, the durations of regaining birth weight were shorter in normal growth group(t=-13.83,P0.05).Conclusions Premature neonates are prone to encounter extrauterine growth retardation.Extrauterine growth retardation had great impact on premature neonates.Premature neonates should be strengthened with nutrition supplement in order to reduce the incidence of extrauterine growth retardation.
9. The SonneLuxe sonodynamic therapy for S-180 sarcoma in mice
Tumor 2008;28(4):297-300
Objective: Sonodynamic therapy (SDT), using sono-sensitizer and ultrasound, is a new combined therapy for cancer treatment. The study used ultrasound to stimulate sono-sensitizer SonneLuxe, and study the tumor-killing effects of SDT on S-180 sarcoma in mice. Methods: The mice bearing S180 sarcoma were injected i. p. SonneLuxe 20 mg/kg. Six hours later, the tumor area was irradiated by 1.0 MHz ultrasound for 3 min. The mice were divided into three groups which were irradiated by ultrasound at intensity of 0.3 W/cm2, 0.6 W/cm2 and 1.2 W/cm2, respectively. The empty control, ultrasound-irradiated, and SonneLuxe-treated mice bearing S-180 sarcoma were used as different controls. The tumor size was recorded every 2 days and the tumor was weighted on the 15th day after treatment. Results: Ultrasound or SonneLuxe alone had no significant killing effect on S-180 sarcoma in mice. The proliferation of tumor was significant. SDT/SonneLuxe stimulated by ultrasound had significant inhibitory effect on the growth of S-180 sarcoma. The efficacy of SDT was enhanced accompanied with the increase in the ultrasound intensity. The adverse reaction such as photosensitive dermatitis was not observed. Conclusion: SonneLuxe/SDT had significant killing effect on S-180 sarcoma in mice. It may be a promising modality for cancer therapy.
10. Clinical observation on 125I seed brachytherapy combined with chemotherapy and thermotherapy for mid-advanced tumor
Tumor 2007;27(11):914-916
Objective: To investigate the clinical value of brachytherapy with radioactive 125I seed implantation combined with chemotherapy and thermotherapy for mid-advanced tumor. Methods: Twenty two patients with mid-advanced tumor were implantated radioactive 125I seed followed by chemotherapy and thermotherapy. Their clinical data was retrospectively reviewed and analyzed. Total 445 125I seeds of (1.48-2.59) × 107 Bq were implanted into 26 foci with the guidance of surgery or CT. Combined chemotherapy and thermotherapy was performed after brachytherapy. All the patients were followed up. The blood biochemical index, immune function and biological parameters of oncology and imaging changes were measured. The short-term efficacy was evaluated. Results: The oncological parameters significantly decreased 3 months after operations. There were 5 patients with complete response (CR), 12 with partial response (PR), 2 with no change (NC), 3 with progressive disease (PD). The objective response rate was 77.3% (17/22). Local foci control rate was 95.5% (21/22). One patient had pneumothorax during 125I seed implantation and the other patient had seed migration in lung. No other severe complications were observed. Conclusion: Radioactive 125I seed implantation combined with chemotherapy and thermotherapy has good clinical effects in treating mid-advanced tumor with low occurrence of complications. It is a simple, safe, and effective method for combined treatment of mid-advanced tumor.
