2.Bone marrow mesenchymal stem cell transplantation alleviates myocardial injury due to systolic hypertension
Chinese Journal of Tissue Engineering Research 2016;20(50):7518-7523
BACKGROUND:Mesenchymal stem cel s can be used to treat a variety of injuries, but little is known about their effect on systolic hypertension. OBJECTIVE:To study the therapeutic effect of bone marrow mesenchymal stem cel s on systolic hypertension rats. METHODS:Twenty-four rats were randomized equal y into control, model and cel transplantation groups. A rat model of systolic hypertension was made by injection of vitamin K and warfarin sodium in the model and cel transplantation groups. Rats in the cel transplantation group were given injection of bone marrow mesenchymal stem cel s into the left ventricle, while those in the other two groups given normal saline. RESULTS AND CONCLUSION:Compared with the model group, bone marrow mesenchymal stem cel s could reduce left ventricular mass index, increase cardiac tissue type I col agen volume fraction, col agen volume fraction and perivascular col agen volume fraction, but the ratio of end-diastolic volume/body weight did not change significantly. These findings indicate that bone marrow mesenchymal stem cel transplantation can reduce myocardial hypertrophy and cardiac fibrosis in systolic hypertension rats.
3.Expression of SRPX2 in human endometrial carcinoma and its role in cell proliferation and apoptosis
The Journal of Practical Medicine 2017;33(4):529-532
Objective To detect the expression of Sushi Repeat Containing Protein X Linked 2 (SRPX2) in hunan endometrial carcinoma (EC) and its role in cell proliferation and apoptosis Methods Immunohistochemistry was applied to detect the expression of SRPX2 in EC and matched tumor-adjacent tissues (n =50).The correlation between SRPX2 expression and clinical features was analyzed by Pearson chi-square test.siRNA was used to down-regulate the expression of SRPX2 in HEC-1A cells. The effects of SRPX2 on cell proliferation and apoptosis were measured by CCK-8 assay and Flow cytometer, respectively. The FAK and Cyclin D1 expression were detected after silencing SRPX2 expression. Results The expression of SRPX2 was significantly up-regulated in EC tissues, and the high expression of SRPX2 was associated with the large tumor size (>3 cm) and advanced FIGO stage (Ⅲ+Ⅳ stage).Silencing SRPX2 could inhibit cell proliferation, induce cell apoptosis and repress FAK and Cyclin D1 expression in HEC-1A cells. Conclusion The expression of SRPX2 is significantly higher in EC tissues, which is closely related with cell proliferation.Scilencing SRPX2 could achieve an anti-cancer role through inhibiting cell proliferation and inducing cell apoptosis by the down-regulation of SRPX2.

Objective: To research the effect of dexmedetomidine on regional cerebral oxygen saturation(rSO2)and postoperative cognitive function in elder patients received prostatectomy by using laparoscope. Methods: 60 elderly patients received prostatectomy by using laparoscope were divided into observation group (30cases) and control group (30cases) as random number table. In observation group, the dexmedetomidine was injected by venous pump after endotracheal intubation of general anesthesia was implemented, while the equivalent normal saline (NS) was injected by venous pump in control group. The rSO2, PaCO2 and PaO2 of different time point between the two groups were observed and compared. The usages of propofol and remifentanil, the situation of postoperative restlessness, and situation of nausea and vomiting between the two groups were compared. Besides, the scores of MoCA of different time point between the two groups also were compared. Results: The usages of propofol and remifentanil of observation group were significantly lower than that of control group (t=3.449, t=9.466, P<0.05), respectively. The occurrence rate of postoperative restlessness and occurrence rate of nausea and vomiting were 10.0% and 6.7%, respectively, while they were 13.3% and 3.3%in control group, and the differences of them between the two groups were no significant (x2=0.162, x2=0.351, P>0.05). The score of MoCA of observation group was significant higher than that of control group (t=8.938, P<0.05) at postoperative 1d. Conclusion: In the elder patients received prostatectomy by using laparoscope, the dexmedetomidine doesn't affect the rSO2 level of patients, while it contributes to fast recover the postoperative cognitive function of patients.
9.Research progress of the association of STIL with malignancies and its potential mechanism
International Journal of Surgery 2015;42(9):646-648,封4
The hyperamplification in centrosomes give rise to a series of biochemical events including formation of multipolar spindle, abnormal segregation of chromosome and aneuploid, promoting the performance of chromosome instability, which is the main pathogenesis of multiple human malignancies.STIL participates in the formation of centrioles, activates CDK1/CyclinB1 complex and promotes mitotic entry. Moreover, it regulated expression of related downstream genes through Sonic Hedgehog signal pathway. Thus, STIL correlates with gastric and pancreatic carcinogenesis and progression. We aim to review the structure and function of STIL, association with malignancies and its potential mechanism.
