1.Method for computerized 3D reconstruction of eyeball ultrasonograph
Chinese Medical Equipment Journal 1989;0(03):-
This paper describes an algorithm of extracting location information in 2D eyeball ultrasound slices. The relative position of eyeball slices is adjusted based on the correlation between the slices. Some middle slices are added with elastic matching-based interpolation algorithm. Then ray-casting algorithm for volume rendering is used to reconstruct 3D image of the eyeball.
2.Effects of Erythromycin on Voltage-dependent Potassium Current in Hippocampal Neurons of Mice
China Pharmacy 2001;0(10):-
OBJECTIVE:To study the effect of erythromycin on the voltage-dependent K~+ current in hippocampal neurons of mice.METHODS:Isolation of mice's hippocammal neurons cells and whole-cell patch-clamp techniques were applied to study the change of voltage-dependent K~+ current of hippocampal neurons and the current-voltage curves in mice before and after treatment with erythromycin.RESULTS:Erythromycin inhibited the voltage-dependent K~+ current of mice's hippocampal neurons, and it down-regulated the peak current from(810.67?250.86)pA to(529.96?171.83)pA(P

Chinese Journal of Behavioral Medicine and Brain Science 2001;10(3):186-188
objective To investigate the differences in behaviors between asthmatic and nonasthmatic children , and to evaluate the psychological interventions. Method Behaviors were investigated in the 84 children with asthma and 84 healthy children, After psychological interventions of 3~4 months, the effects were evaluated in 18 asthmatic children. Results Behavioral problems were more prevalent in asthmatics than nonasthmatics, behavioral problems were different in asthmatic children of different severity and gender, psychological interventions as well as drug therapy have beneficial effects on controling of asthmatic symptoms. Conclusions Asthma contributes to the development of behavioral problems,Psychological intervention in child with asthma has many positive effects on controling the symptom and miniming the bad behaviors.

China Oncology 2014;(1):57-61
Patients treated with radiotherapy (RT) might experience a large variation in normal tissues. Severe radiation damage in a minority of patients limits the doses that might be safe given to the majority. The possibility of predicting such radiation-induced damage would provide a better treatment schedule for the patients. Several predictive tests in peripheral blood lymphocytes such as initial DNA damage, radiation-induced apoptosis and genetic variation have been proposed to know the individual sensitivity of patients to the radiotherapy schedules. This study aimed to summarize the main studies regarding to this ifeld.

Journal of Practical Radiology 1992;0(11):-
Objective To discuss CT appearance and differential diagnosis of costal cartilage fracture in adult. Methods CT findings of 30 costal cartilage fractures in 20 cases were analyzed. Results On the basis of fractural location and CT appearanes, the fractures were divided three types:14 line-like fracture in 10 cases,9 local focal cleft within the costal cartilage in 6 cases and 7 massed fractures in 4 cases. Conclusion CT is of great value in diagnosing costal cartilage fracture.

Academic Journal of Second Military Medical University 1981;0(04):-
Using computerized analysis of hemodynamics in conscious unrestrained rats, we tested the effects of intracerebroventricular administration of ketanserin (50 ?g), a special 5-HT2 antagonist, on blood pressure (BP), blood pressure variability (BPV), baroreflex-blood pressure control (ABR-BP), and baroreflex-heart period control (ABR-HP). The result are as follows: (1) There was no significant depression of blood pressure after intracerebroventricular administration of ketanserin; (2) Ketanserin could significantly decreased BPV, and enhanced ABR-BP and ABR-HP; (3) The decreasing of BPV was associated with enhancement of ABR-BP, but these changes were no related to the level of BP, indicating that the hypotension induced by ketanserin was not related to the enhancement of ABR-BP; (4) There was no significant negative relationship between ABR-BP and BPV after intracerebroventricular administration of ketanserin.

Chinese Journal of Clinical Psychology 2001;0(03):-
Objective:To explore differences in beha viors and quality of life between asthmatic and non-asthmatic children . Methods:Be haviors and quality of life were assessed in the 84 children with asthma and healthy children,4-11 years of age .Results :Behavioral problems were more prevalent in asthmatics than non-asthmatics.The major beha vior al problems in children with asthma were recession, physical complaints,anxiety/ de pression, and social intercourse. The children with asthma were less satisfact ory than healthy children with respect to quality of life especially on anxiety, depressi on and somatic feelings. Conclusion:Asthma contribut es to the developmen t of behavioral problem and adversely affects the children's quality of life.

Objective To investigate the best pathologically diagnostic method for breast cancer before surgery. Methods Wet fine needle aspiration cytology was conducted in 68 cases of probable breast cancer by using a 10 ml syringe with size 7 needle. Results Malignant cells were found in 19 cases, without any false positive cases.Of the remaining 49 cases of negative cytological findings: 46 cases underwent segmental mastectomy,1 of which was postoperatively diagnosed as having fibrosarcoma by paraffin section examination and the rest of which were all demonstrated the presence of benign tumors;3 cases without surgical intervention were followed for (11~20) months and no evidences of breast cancer were found. The sensitivity was 95 0% (19/20),the specificity was 100% (48/48),the accuracy rate was 98 5% (67/68),and the false negative rate and false positive rate were 5 0% (1/20) and 0 (0/48),respectively.Of the 19 cases of positive cytological findings,no implantation metastasis in needle passage occurred. There were no complications in the study. Conclusions Wet fine needle aspiration cytology is safe, economical, convenient, quick, almost painless, and accurate, being the method of first choice in the diagnosis of breast cancer.

A 42-year-old man from Ghana presented with bilateral painful corneal perforations following ingestion of a sulphur-based antibiotic. Emergency bilateral penetrating keratoplasty was performed, with restoration of globe integrity. However, surgical complications arose such as non-healing epithelial defect, secondary infection, graft dehiscence, and mounting intraocular pressure. This case illustrates the challenges faced in managing corneal grafts in patients with already compromised ocular surfaces.
