Objective To study the application of native pelvis and ureter in kidney transplantation. Methods Between 1977 and 2001, 1 364 kidney transplantations were performed in our institution. 18 cases of ureteral complication after kidney transplantation were treated with native pelvis and ureter. The mean age of the patients was 42 years. In 10 patients with urine leakage, 3 cases underwent pyeloureterostomy using native ureter, 2 cases ureteroureterostomy using native ureter and 5 cases pyelopyelostomy using native pelvis. Five cases due to short ureter underwent ureteroureterostomy using native ureter. Three cases of ureteral stenosis were subjected to ureteroureterostomy using native ureter. Results Two grafts were rejected. Sixteen patients developed a normal function of kidney postoperatively (follow up: 3 months to 8 years). Conclusion Application of native pelvis and ureter might be a therapy of choice when secondary reconstruction by re-ureteroneocystostomy is not possible.

China Journal of Chinese Materia Medica 2014;39(5):755-758
Small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) are important components in Chinese medicine industry. However, the lack of big brand is becoming an urgent problem which is critical to the survival of SMEs. This article discusses the concept and traits of Chinese medicine of big brand, from clinical, scientific and market value three aspects. Guided by market value, highlighting clinical value, aiming at the scientific value improvement of big brand cultivation, we put forward the key points in cultivation, aiming at obtaining branded Chinese medicine with widely recognized efficacy, good quality control system and mechanism well explained and meanwhile which can bring innovation improvement to theory of Chinese medicine. According to the characters of SMEs, we hold a view that to build multidisciplinary research union could be considered as basic path, and then, from top-level design, skill upgrading and application three stages to probe the implementation strategy.

Abstract: Objective To explore the early diagnostic value of peripheral blood peroxisome proliferator-activated receptor γ (PPARγ) combined with γ-interferon (IFN-γ) release assay (IGRA) in the diagnosis of pulmonary tuberculosis in patients with end-stage renal disease (ESRD), and to provide reference for clinical diagnosis and treatment. Methods From January 2019 to December 2021, 70 ESRD patients with suspicious symptoms of pulmonary tuberculosis were treated at Hebei Chest Hospital were selected as the research objects. According to the examination results, they were divided into ESRD group (40 cases) and ESRD complicated by pulmonary tuberculosis (40 cases, comorbidity group). In addition, 40 cases with pulmonary tuberculosis were used as the PTB group. All three groups of patients underwent IGRA test, and the peripheral blood PPARγ level was detected by enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay, and the diagnostic value of PPARγ combined with IGRA test for ESRD patients with pulmonary tuberculosis was explored. Results The expression level of PPARγ and IFN-γ content in the PTB group and the comorbidity group were obviously higher than those in the ESRD group (P<0.05), while the differences in PPARγ expression level and IFN-γ content between the PTB and comorbidity groups were not statistically significant (P>0.05). The ROC curve showed that the areas under the curve (AUC) of PPARγ and IGRA in the diagnosis of end-stage renal disease combined with tuberculosis were 0.823 (95%CI: 0.722-0.925) and 0.773 (95%CI: 0.662-0.883), respectively, and the AUC of combined detection was 0.928 (95%CI: 0.871-0.984), which was better than that of PPARγ and IGRA alone (Z/P=2.057/0.039, 2.843/0.005). The Kappa values of serum PPARγ and IGRA test compared with the clinical gold standard results in the diagnosis of ESRD complicated with pulmonary tuberculosis were 0.557 and 0.444 (P<0.05). The combined screening of ESRD with pulmonary tuberculosis was consistent with the clinical gold standard (Kappa=0.661, P<0.05). Among the 30 ESRD patients complicated with pulmonary tuberculosis, the sensitivity of PPARγ combined with IGRA test in diagnosis of ESRD complicated with pulmonary tuberculosis was 93.33% (28/30), which was higher than 70.00% (21/30) of PPARγ and 66.67% (20/30) of IGRA test alone (P<0.05). Conclusions Peripheral blood PPARγ and IGRA tests have certain diagnostic value for ESRD complicated with tuberculosis, and the combined detection of the two can improve the sensitivity and reduce the rate of missed diagnosis, which is worthy of clinical promotion.

Chinese Journal of Urology 2001;0(10):-
Objective To evaluate the preoperative diagnosis and treatment of primary non-specific ureteritis, and to better understand this disease. Methods Three cases of primary non-specific ureteritis (1 man and 2 women)were reported.Their age was 28,38,68 years, respectively. One ease was found to have hydronephrosis on B-ultrasound at physical examination with no symptoms, and 2 had abdominal pain. The lesions were detected in lower part of the ureter in 2 cases, and in middle in I.The patients were diag- nosed preoperatively with combined use of MRU and ureteroscopy.Partial resection of the diseased part of the ureter was performed in all the cases. Results Pathological findings confirmed the diagnosis of non-spe- cific ureteritis.Microscopy showed necrotic tissue and inflammatory cell infiltration of ureteral mucosa, dilated and congested blood vessels, hypertrophic muscular layer, and proliferation of fibrous tissue.During the fol- low-up of 2 years, the patients had no symptoms and were free from hydronephrosis. Conclusions The eti- ology of primary non-specific ureteritis is unclear, and no typical symptoms can be found clinically.Combined use of MRU and ureteroscopy is helpful for definite diagnosis of the disease.Partial resection of the diseased part of the ureter has good results.

Objective To investigate the therapeutic effieacy and safety of 18 α-Diammonium glycyrrhizinate phosphatidylcholine complex (DGPC) in patients with chronic hepatitis B and or C with elevated aminotransferase. Methods 55 patients with chronic hepatitis B and or C, with serum alanine aminotransferase (ALT) of 2 to 10 times the upper limit of normal were randomly assigned to receive DGPC or Diammonium glyeyrrhizinate (DG) for 12 weeks. Then they were followed up for an additional 4 weeks. From week 1 to 10, DGPC or DG was given as 150 nag, three times a day (TID). At the 11th week, the drug was given as 100 mg,TID. Then 50 mg,TID for the 12th week. Results ALT was markedly decreased after receiving DGPC 4,8,12 weeks (P=0.00). ALT normalization rate at the end of therapy was similar (38.5% vs 34.5% ,P =0.76). Drug-related adverse events were similar. Conclusion DGPC can rapidly and safely decrease aminotransferase in patients with chronic viurs hepatitis.
