OBJECTIVE:To compare the effects of2different treatment methods on the assaying of triptolide alcohol in tripterygium wilfordii cut crude drug.METHODS:After concentration,tripterygium wilfordii cut crude drug water decoction underwent column chromatographic separation after adsorption with neutral alumina(Method1)and neutral alumina column chromatographic separation after ethanol precipitation and extraction by chloroform(Method2),respectively.Triptolide alcohol was determined by HPLC and the assaying result underwent pairing and t tests.RESULTS:There was significant difference between the2methods with the content determined by Method1significantly higher than that by Method2(P

3.Effects of Sulfur Dioxide on Lactic Dehydrogenase-Isozyme.

Alteration of H-and M-isozymfs of Lactic Dehydrogenase(LDH) were observed in the various tissues after exposing the rats to 50ppm and 250ppm of sulfur dioxide. These isozymes of the respective tissue were separated by Diethlaminoethyl(DEAE)-cellulose from tile tissue homogenates of brain, lung and muscle, presenting the activities by rate of reduction of nicot inamids-adenine-dinucleotide (NAD+). Pure LDH and the coenzyme NAD (NAD) were directly treated with sulfur dioxide in vitro order to find out the direct to sulfur dioxide on LDH and NAD+ and the results were as follow. 1. In the normal tissues, the H-isozyme activity was dominant in the brain and heart, and tole M-isozyme in the muscle. 2. In the lung tissue of normal rats, there was no different between tole activity of H-and M-type of LDH. 3 When rats inhale sulfur dioxide gas in concentration of 50ppm and 230ppm, it appeared that the H-type tend to be suppressed in aerobic tissues and the M-type in anaerobic tissues. 4. In the lung tissue exposed to sulfur dioxide, both the LDH activities were suppressed. 5. It seems that LDH and the coenzyme (NAD ) are not directly affected by exposing in sulfur dioxide gas.

4.Evaluation of the effect of zirconia all-ceramic fixed dental prostheses designed and manufactured by CAD/CAM in restoration of posterior teeth

To observe the 36 months follow-up outcome of zirconia all-ceramic posterior fixed dental prostheses(FDPs)designed and manu-factured by computer aided design and computer aided manufacture (CAD /CAM)from clinical aspect,and to evaluate the success rate of zirconia framework and veneering porcelain.78 patients with less than three teeth lost which had natural opposing teeth were included.A to-tal of ninty-two zirconia all-ceramic FDPs (59 three-unit FDPs,20 four-unit FDPs and 13 five-unit FDPs)were made by CAD /CAM.Three years after cementation of the restorations,the reasons for complication and failure of FDPs in different lengths were analysed.Six FDPs were removed (frame fracture:1;porcelain fracture:1;secondary caries:2;vertical root fractures and post-core fracture after root canal therapy of premolars:2).The success rate of these FDPs was 93.5%.The success rate of zirconia all-ceramic crowns and bridges was higher.Their clinical effect was satisfactory.The main complications of these FDPs were porcelain fracture and de-bonding.
5.Study on quality specification of bazheng capsule

Objective To improve the quality of the standard bazheng capsule.Methods TLC was used for identification of emodin and chrysophanol content determination, and determination of samples by high performance liquid chromatography.Results TLC spots were clear,and the blank without interference.Emodin showed a good linear relationship at range of 0.0267 ~0.4272 μg, Y =1425.7X +2.1521 ( r=0.9998 );chrysophanol showed a good linear relationship at range of 0.0417 ~0.6677 μg, Y =5 ×106X -8566.2(r=0.9999).The recovery was 97.35%, 98.39%,and RSD was 1.7%,0.4%.Conclusion The established methods are simple and with good repeatability, and can be used for the quality control of bazheng capluse.
6.Director Doctor Zhao Runchen Treat Cervical Spondylosis of Nerve Root Type

Objective]To observe the clinical effect of chief physician Zhao Runchen’s therapy of nerve root type cervical spondylosis.[Methods]According to the random and parallel control test principles, 48 cases of patients with nerve root type cervical spondylosis were divided into treatment group and control group. The treatment group was treated with conventional massage combined with pulling therapy, and the control group was treated with conventional massage. After treatment every other day for 20 times, the clinical effect of the two groups and the visual analogue scale before and after treatment were observed.[Results]15 cases in the treatment group were cured, 6 cases improved, so the basic cure rate was 63%, and total effective rate was 88%. 11 cases in the control group were cured, 9 cases improved, so the basic cure rate was 46%, and total effective rate was 83%. Cure rate between the two groups had significant difference(P<0.01), and VAS score of both groups were significantly improved after treatment: the control group decreased significantly(P<0.05), and the treatment group showed extremely significant decrease(P<0.01). [Conclusion]Chief physician Zhao Runchen’s pulling therapy of nerve root type cervical spondylosis has a satisfactory basic cure rate.
7.Clinical analysis of glucocorticoid in the treatment of bronchial asthma and its influence on serum markers

Objective To investigate the clinical effect of glucocorticoid in the treatment of bronchial asthma and its influence on serum markers,to provide a reference for clinical treatment.Methods 40 cases with bronchial asthma were selected,and they were randomly divided into observation group and control group,20 cases in each group.The observation group was given montelukast and budesonide inhalation therapy,the control group received montelukast therapy.The lung function after treatment,serum interleukins,serum nitric oxide,the rate -limiting enzyme targets were compared.Results After treatment,FVC%,FEV1 %,PEF% in the observation group were (83.67 ±5.57)%,(89.92 ±6.37)%,(88.01 ±6.04)% respectively,the improvement was better than the control group,the difference was statistically significant(comparison after treatment between the two groups tFVC =3.537;tFEV1 =3.119;tPEF =3.354,all P <0.05).After treatment,IL -4,IL -13,NO,NOS of the observation group were (4.79 ± 0.89)pg/mL,(26.64 ±3.32)pg/mL,(61.13 ±4.49)μmol/L,(33.34 ±2.81 )U /mL,respectively,the improve-ment was better than the control group,the difference was statistically significant(comparison after treatment between the two groups tIL -4 =3.214;tIL -13 =4.051;tNO =3.815;tNOS =3.904,all P <0.05).Conclusion Montelukast combined with glucocorticoids in the treatment of bronchial asthma has good clinical results,which will help to improve the serum inflammatory markers,it is worthy of clinical application.
8.Comparison of peritoneal cavity after laparoscopic renal pelvis and ureter lithotomy and traditional open renal pelvis incision nephrolithotomy

Objective To compare the clinical effects of peritoneal cavity after laparoscopic renal pelvis and ureter lithotomy and traditional open renal pelvis incision nephrolithotomy.Methods 150 cases with renal pelvis and ureteral calculi were randomly divided into control group and observation group with 75 cases in each group,the control group was given traditional open pyelolithotomy for treatment while the observation group was given peritoneal cavity after laparoscopic renal pelvis and ureter lithotomy for treatment,clinical efficacy of the two groups were compared.Results The clinical effective rate of the observation group after treatment was 100%,which that of the control group was 92%,there was significant differences between the two groups (x2 =10.31,P < 0.05).The operation time in the observation group was (90 ± 12) min,amount of bleeding during operation was (25 ± 7) mL,hospital stays was (10 ± 3) d,which were better than those of the control group,there were significant differences between the two groups (t =7.24,8.31,7.61,all P < 0.05).Conclusion Retroperitoneal laparoscopic pyelolithotomy and ureterolithotomy is a minimally invasive operation,which has the advantages of definite curative effect,less trauma,less bleeding,rapid recovery,superior than the traditional open pyelolithotomy,so it is worthy of clinical application.
9.Clinical Observation on Acupuncture Treatment of Parkinson's Syndrome

Objective:To explore if the therapeutic effect can be enhanced, the dose of levodopa-like medications can be decreased and the complications can be reduced by acupuncture treatment in the patients with Parkinson's disease (PD) who took levodopa-like medications for a long time. Methods: thirty cases of the patients, most of whom were noticed with the decreased therapeutic effect and drug-induced complications, were treated by puncturing Shuigou (GV 26) and Baihui (GV 20), by reduction of Madopa dose, and the patients' conditions and complications were evaluated six months later. Results:After treatments for six months, the physiological functions were improved and the dose of Madopa was reduced and the total effective rate was 66.7%. Conclusion: After acupuncture treatments in PD patients, the therapeutic effects of levodopa were enhanced, with its dose and complications reduced.
10.The Experience of Zhang Yu-zhu Treating Bi-syndrome

Objective]To summarize the clinical experience of Zhang Yu-zhu to treat Bi-Syndrome. [Methods] Summarized the academic view and clinical experience of Zhang yu-zhu to treat Bi-syndrome,including etiology and pathogenesis,therapeutic principle and the formulas of Zhang Yu-zhu. Summarize the compatibility and modified formulas,and proven cases attached. [Result] The cause of Bi-syndrome was divided into two types: one was external pathogen,which was caused by wind,cold and wet. The other was internal pathogen,including spleen and kidney deficiency,the unbalance of Ying qi and Wei qi and insecurity of the interstices. When diagnosing and treating Bi-syndrome ,he emphasized combining Chinese and western medicine and syndrome differentiation. [Conclusion]Zhang Yu-zhu's treatment of Bi-syndrome has evident effect.
