ObjectiveTo establish the mathematical model of transcutaneous bilirubin (TcB) and total serum bilirubin (TSB) after phototherapy in neonates.MethodsNeonates with pathological jaundice were enrolled from October 2013 to June 2014. The neonates were divided into three groups by gestational age: full-term neonates (gestation age of 37-42 weeks), late preterm neonates (gestation age of 34-36+6 weeks), early and mid-preterm neonates (gestation age of 28-33+6 weeks). The neonates received single or double sided phototherapy. During the phototherapy, the forehead and chest were covered by opaque material. The TcB was measured at forehead, mid sternum, perineum area three times each before and after phototherapy. Mean-while the TSB was tested. Results Two hundred and sixty-one neonates with hyperbilirubinemia were enrolled, among whom there were 169 full-term neonates, 63 late preterm neonates and 29 early and mid-preterm neonates. Before phototherapy, there were signiifcantly correlation of TSB with TcB on forehead, mid sternum and perineum (r=0.813, 0.827, 0.754;P<0.001) and the best correlation was with TcB on mid sternum. The linear regression equation was TSB=1.35TcB-5.50. After phototherapy, there were signiifcantly correlateion of TSB with TcB on forehead, mid sternum, and perineum (r=0.751, 0.807, 0.683;P<0.001) and the best correlation was with TcB on mid sternum. The linear regression equation was TSB=1.01×TcB-0.62. Among three groups, the full-term neonates had the best correlation.ConclusionsAfter phototherapy, the TcB measured on mid sternum which was covered by opaque material is well correlated with TSB. The linear regression model can be established.

Objective To study the correlation between EPHX2 gene rs751141 polymorphisms and coronary heart disease (CHD) in Chinese population. Methods Totally 108 patients having more than one major coronary vessel with at least 50% stenosis defined by Coronary angiography were selected as CHD group and control group consisted of 112 healthy subjects.Rs751141 polymorphisms were detected by PCR and gene sequence. Results Three kinds of genotypes at the rs751141 were detected, and no deviation was observed from HardyWeinberg equilibrium. There was statistical difference between the two groups regarding the distribution of the genotype frequencies and the frequency of allele C (P < 0.05).Conclusion It suggests that rs751141 polymorphism is associated with CHD in Chinese population and the C allele might be a risk factor of CHD.

Global Health Journal 2017;1(1):11-20
Objectives:Economic growth and rapid development of health technology in China have created opportunities to strengthen health technology assessment (HTA) capacity.Over the time,HTA institutions have been established to conduct HTA related work. This study reviewed the current status of HTA in China and analysed the challenges of HTA development in the context of health reform under"new normal"economy. Methods:Literature review and webpage searches were used to document the development of HTA in China. An institutional survey has also been conducted to collect information on the HTA research institutions in China. Results:The number of articles and research projects on HTA were rising and are continuing to rise.HTA development has made substantial progress in China in terms of growing number of research institutions and qualified HTA workforce. However,HTA has notable weaknesses such as low capacity for conducting HTA research, limited experience in HTA researchers, and lack of knowledge translation. Conclusion:Currently, the translation of HTA findings to policy-making is limited and the integration of HTA in the policy-making processes is still in its infancy. The HTA development in China has had opportunities due to demands of health care, health insurance, and health technology as a result of health reform.Capacity building and institutionalization of HTA are urgently needed for further development of HTA in China.

Objective:
To investigate the effect of different mechanisms of liver-protection drugs in clinic and compare which one is best for the proliferation of irradiated HL-7702, laying the basis of liver-protection drugs choose in clinic on theory and practice.
Methods:
Human liver parenchyma cells HL-7702 were given single 6 MV X ray irradiation at a dose of 10Gy, the cells’ morphology were detected under an inverted microscope at 24h, 48h and 72h. Then, MTT was used to assess the survival rate of the cells to evaluate the effect of the X ray. The representive medicines which mechanism may relate to RILD were chosen and diluted into various concentrations with culture medium according to clinical and relative reports. Different concentrations of medicines were used to protect the cells damaged by the X ray. Comparing the effect with MTT and measure SOD, MDA for the best one. Further research on its protection of oxidative damage. T-test, F test and non- paramiter test were used for statistical analysis.
Results:
2.5 mg/ml and 1 mg/ml of magnesium isoglycyrrhizinate both have an effect on the proliferation of liver cells, especially the concentration of 1 mg/ml. The injection of polyene phosphatidyl choline show trivial effect at the concentrations of 250 μmol/L and reduced glutathione(GSH) did not demonstrate relative functions. Further research on the magnesium isoglycyrrhizinate, found its protection at 48h to oxidative damage (

Objective:To study the correlation between transcutaneous bilirubin (TcB) level measured from shielded skin and total serum bilirubin (TSB) level after phototherapy in premature infants. Methods:From July 2019 to July 2021,preterm infants with jaundice admitted to the Department of Neonatology of our hospital and received phototherapy were prospectively enrolled in the study. The infants were assigned into 26~31w group, 32~34w group and 35~36w group according to their gestational ages. During phototherapy, the forehead, the chest and the perineum were shielded. TcBs were measured at the above mentioned areas three times each before and after phototherapy and TSB was measured from venous blood samples. Results:A total of 306 premature infants were included, with 51 cases in 26~31w group, 126 cases in 32~34w group and 129 cases in 35~36w group. Before phototherapy, TcBs of the forehead, the chest and the perineum of all infants were correlated with TSB ( r=0.699, 0.913, 0.734, P<0.001) with TcB of the chest showed the best correlation. A linear regression equation was established using the TSB before phototherapy and the TcB of the chest: TSB=0.634+0.912TcB. After phototherapy, TcBs of the forehead, the chest and the perineum of all infants were also correlated with TSB ( r=0.586, 0.879, 0.690, P<0.001) with TcB of the chest showed the best correlation and the linear regression equation was TSB=1.910+0.736TcB. Conclusions:For preterm infants with gestational age of 26~36w, TcB of the shielded chest skin after phototherapy is correlated with TSB and a linear regression model can be established.

Cancer Research on Prevention and Treatment 2025;52(2):93-97
In response to the clinical needs of cancer treatment and rehabilitation, Professor Lin Hongsheng proposed the Wuzhi Wuyang (five treatments and rehabilitation) concept on the basis of years of clinical experience and the Guben Qingyuan (consolidate the foundation and clear the source) theory. Wuzhi Wuyang emphasizes the importance of treatment and rehabilitation and aims to provide personalized and stage-specific treatment and rehabilitation plans by integrating the advantages of traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) and modern medicine to achieve comprehensive life-cycle management for patients with cancer. The proposal of Wuzhi Wuyang has provided new ideas and methods for the treatment, prevention, and rehabilitation of cancer, along with valuable references for clinical practice and academic research. This article summarizes the connotation of Wuzhi Wuyang and its application in the comprehensive management of cancer prevention and treatment with TCM.
