Objective To evaluate the therapeutic effect of Huangqin Decoction(HQD)on ulcerative colitis(UC)in mice and explore its mechanism.Methods Male Balb/c mice were randomly divided into normal control group,model group,mesalazine group(5-ASA,200 mg/kg),and low-,medium-and high-dose HQD groups(2.275,4.55 and 9.1 g/kg,respectively).With the exception of those in the normal control group,all the mice were exposed to 3%DSS solution in drinking water for 7 days to establish UC models.After treatment with the indicated drugs,the mice were assessed for colon injury and apoptosis using HE,AB-PAS and TUNEL staining,and the expression levels of inflammatory factors were detected with ELISA.Western blotting,immunohistochemistry and qRT-PCR were used to detect the changes in protein expressions associated with the intestinal chemical barrier,mechanical barrier and endoplasmic reticulum stress(ERS).Results HQD treatment significantly reduced DAI score and macro score of UC mice,decreased colonic epithelial cell apoptosis,lowered expressions of IL-6,TNF-α,IL-1β and IL-8,and enhanced the expressions of MUC2 and TFF3.HQD treatment also upregulated the protein expressions of claudin-1,occludin and E-cadherin,reduced the expressions of GRP78,CHOP,caspase-12 and caspase-3,decreased the phosphorylation levels of PERK,eIF2α and IRE1α,and increased the Bcl-2/Bax ratio in the colon tissues of UC mice.Conclusion HQD inhibits colonic epithelial cell apoptosis and improves intestinal barrier function in UC mice possibly by reducing ERS mediated by the PERK and IRE1α signaling pathways.

Objective:This study introduces a novel approach utilizing a self-made drug delivery cannula implanted into the cerebellomedullary cistern(CMC)of rats to allow repeated administrations in conscious subjects.Methods:A self-made medication cannula is inserted through a drilled hole at the midpoint of the occipital crest of the rat's skull,de-scending along the inner wall of the occipital bone until reaching the CMC,and securing it in place with skull screws and self-curing resin.Lipopolysaccharide(LPS)is injected into the CMC to induce neuroinflammation,and the feasibility of this method is assessed using X-ray imaging,behavioral testing,and immunofluorescence staining.Results:The place-ment of the brain cannula was confirmed using X-ray film and pontamine sky blue staining.Rats in the LPS group exhib-ited a lower facial mechanical pain threshold compared to the Control group(P＜0.001),along with reduced residence time in the open field center(P＜0.01).Immunofluorescence staining revealed LPS-induced activation of caudal spinal trigeminal nucleus(SpVc)microglia.Conclusion:This method proves to be suitable for multiple administrations to the cerebellomedullary cistern of conscious rats,enabling the study of the SpVc's role in pain modulation.

Objective:To analyze the results of the practice test and formal test of the annual professional proficiency test for residents in 2022, to investigate related influencing factors and the effectiveness of the practice test, and to propose the measures for improving the results of the annual professional proficiency test.Methods:The scores of the annual professional proficiency test were analyzed for 202 residents who participated in the test in 2022, and the data on sex, education background, type of personnel, whether they passed the medical licensing examination, and practice test scores were analyzed to investigate related influencing factors. SPSS 23.0 and GraphPad Prism 8 were used for the chi-square test, the t-test, the one-way of variance, and the Fisher's exact test. A multiple linear regression analysis was used to identify influencing factors, and a Pearson correlation analysis was also performed. Results:The scores of the annual professional proficiency test for 202 residents were normally distributed with the highest number of the residents with a score of 90-99 points and the lowest number of the residents with a score of <70 points. The residents who passed the medical licensing examination had a significantly higher score of the annual professional proficiency test than those who failed the examination ( t=2.87, P=0.005), and the residents who passed the three practice tests had a significantly higher score of the annual professional proficiency test than those who failed the practice tests ( P<0.05). The score of the second practice test, the score of the third practice test, and the passing of medical licensing examination were independent influencing factors for the score of annual professional proficiency test ( R2=0.236, R2=0.201, F=6.60, P<0.05). The correlation analysis showed that the scores of the three practice tests were positively correlated with the final score ( r=0.189, 0.373, and 0.311, P<0.05). Conclusions:Improving the passing rate of medical licensing examination and strengthening pre-examination practice tests can help to improve the score of annual professional proficiency test. At the same time, it is necessary to improve the quality of training through the measures such as strengthening the homogenization management of different types of students, improving the attention and enthusiasm of all levels, and accelerating the construction of question banks.

Objective:To understand the effect of standardized residency training for residents with different identity types, and put forward targeted optimization and improvement measures to achieve the homogenization of training effect.Methods:Combined with literature review and expert consultation results, a self-designed questionnaire was conducted for 324 residents who completed their courses in 2019 and 2020. The effective recovery rate of the questionnaire was 87.65%. By comparing the passing rate of first-time medical admission and completion examination of different identity types, and the training standards of six core competencies, the training effect conclusion was drawn. T-test and Fisher exact probability test were also made by SPSS 21.0. Results:The passing rates of first-time doctors and completion examinations were higher in professional masters and units than in the general population, with the highest passing rates reaching 100% (10/10) and 97.3% (72/74) respectively. There was no statistical difference between the passing rates of residents with different identity types. The overall standard of the six core competencies of the integrated professional masters was better than that of the society and unit personnel. There were statistical differences between the groups in the training standards of the four abilities of the residents with different identity types in professional literacy ( P=0.048), patient management ( P=0.030), communication and cooperation ( P=0.026) and learning promotion ( P=0.003). There was no significant difference in professional ability ( P=0.131) and teaching ability ( P=0.061). Conclusion:There is no difference in the passing rate of residents with different identity types in a military hospital, which achieves the goal of homogenization training to a certain extent. However, there are obvious differences in the standards of the six core competencies, and further optimization measures need to be explored.

Objective: To explore the effects of grandparent involvement in parenting on health related behaviors among urban preschool children, so as to provide a basis for the development of interventions for unhealthy behaviors among preschool children with different parenting pattern. Methods: A total of 5 431 preschool children aged 3-6 years old in Xinbei District, Changzhou City, were selected by census method during January to October, 2022. General household characteristics and health related behaviors of children were investigated by questionnaires, and the differences in health related behaviors with different parenting pattern involving grandparents were explored by the χ 2 test. A multifactorial Logistic regression model was used to analyze the effects of grandparenting on preschool children s health behaviors. Results: About 51.2% of preschoolers were raised by both parents, 46.1 % were co parented by grandparents, and 2.7% were raised by grandparents. After multifactorial Logistic regression analysis controlling for age, gender, annual household income, and family structure, children co parented by grandparents had a reduced risk of screen exposure time>1 h/d ( OR =0.79, P <0.05), with increased risks of outdoor activity time<2 h/d ( OR =1.30, P < 0.05 ), sleep duration <10 h/d ( OR =1.31, P <0.05), sleep difficulties ( OR =1.39, P <0.05) and adverse eating behaviors ( OR =1.20， P < 0.05), compared with children parented by both parents. Children raised by grandparents were at increased risk for outdoor activity time<2 h/d ( OR =2.19) and unhealthy eating behaviors ( OR =1.39) ( P <0.05). Conclusions Compared with children raised by both parents, the incidence of unhealthy behaviors is increased in children raised by parents and grandparents and in children raised by full grandparents. Active intervention should be focused on unhealthy behaviors of preschool children with pareting involving grandparents to promote the physical and mental health of preschool children.

【Objective】 To develop a prognosis model based on CT images using radiomics method for patients with osteonecrosis of the femoral head (ONFH) and to investigate the additional prediction value of the imaging features of the contralateral normal femoral head regions for the prognosis prediction. 【Methods】 A total of 51 patients were included in this retrospective study. All the patients had preoperative CT images. For each patient, two regions of interest (ROIs) were involved, including the osteonecrosis region and the contralateral normal femoral head region. A total of 968 radiomics features were extracted for each patient. We made both the univariate and multivariable analyses. Three models were developed based on the features of osteonecrosis region, contralateral normal femoral head region, and both regions. The 10 times of repeated random experiments were used for model construction and validation. The average performance of the 10 times of experiments was reported as the results. 【Results】 For the features of osteonecrosis region, 37 features showed significant predictive value, with the mean AUC value of 0.708 2±0.029 9. The AUC of the constructed prediction model was 0.911 0±0.029 4 and 0.688 6±0.089 3 for the training set and validation set, respectively. For the features of contralateral normal femoral head region, 14 features showed significant predictive value, with the mean AUC value of 0.703 6±0.006 9. The AUC value of the constructed model for the training set and validation set was 0.867 2±0.039 5 and 0.669 0±0.072 6, respectively. For the models developed based on combined features, the AUC value was higher than that of the models developed based on osteonecrosis region features (training set: 0.935 8±0.016 6 vs. validation set: 0.737 9±0.090 8). 【Conclusion】 We developed a novel CT images-based radiomics method to predict postoperative prognosis in patients with ONFH. Furthermore, the features of contralateral normal femoral head region has additional prediction value. Combining the imaging features of osteonecrosis region and contralateral normal femoral head region can obtain more accurate prediction of prognosis in patients with ONFH.

【Objective】 To explore the relationship between changes in the entorhinal cortex （EC） of traumatic brain injury （TBI） and cognitive function based on structural magnetic resonance imaging. 【Methods】 MRI was performed in 26 patients with clinically confirmed TBI after admission， and the Mini-mental State Examination （MMSE） was followed up 6 months later. The TBI patients were classified as mild TBI and moderate to severe TBI according to the post-traumatic Glasgow coma scale （GCS）. We compared the differences in age， gender， education level， hypertension， diabetes， TBI operation history， and follow-up MMSE between the two groups. Then the morphology， surface area， volume and thickness of the patient’s EC were evaluated using the visual score and Freesurfer software， and finally the correlation between EC parameters and MMSE was analyzed. 【Results】 The study included 12 cases of mild TBI and 14 cases of moderate to severe TBI. There were no statistical differences in age， gender， years of education， hypertension， diabetes or TBI operation history. However， the two groups differed significantly in follow-up MMSE. Visual evaluation showed statistical difference in the left EC scores. Structural MRI showed that the volume and thickness of left EC were statistically different between the two groups. The correlation analysis showed that there was a positive correlation between the thickness of left EC and MMSE （r=0.430， P<0.05）. 【Conclusion】 Entorhinal cortex atrophy after TBI is related to the severity of trauma， and it can reflect the long-term cognitive level of patients， which can be used as a noninvasive and reliable imaging marker for evaluating cognitive impairment after TBI.

Provisional restorations are beneficial to final restorations. However, the importance of provisional restorations is often overlooked because they are designed to function for a limited period. This article summarizes the clinical values and two common materials of provisional restorations.

Objective To observe the interfractional variation and actual dose for cervical cancer patients treated with tomotherapy.Methods Five patients who received tomotherapy were chosen from Aug 2013 to Feb 2014.A megavohage computed tomography (MVCT) scan was performed before treatment and then registered with the planning CT images.Dose distributions were recalculated and targets were contoured on the MVCT images.The differences between the actual radiation and planning were analyzed.Results In the patients received external radiotherapy, the decline in cervix volume and maximum diameter was 68.90％ and 26.91％ , respectively (t =5.21, 8.39, P ＜0.05).Cervix, uterus and CTV movement in left-right, anteroposterior, superoinferior were 1.43,-7.72, 0.02,-0.40,-1.24, -6.51,-0.43,-1.68and-0.22mm.The medianCTV V95％ was 99.40％ (95.96％-100％), and missing volume was 6.94 cm3 (0-32.30 cm3).Conclusions During radiotherapy for cervical cancer patients, the volume, position and doses are different between initial plan and actual radiation.Based on image guided radiation therapy (IGRT), missing targets are limited.
