1.Investigation on spondylolysis of lumbar vertebral arch in 100 recruits before and after reinforced training
Chinese Journal of Tissue Engineering Research 2006;10(4):164-165
BACKGROUND: The incidence rate of spondylolysis of lumbar vertebral arch in recruits is higher during the training, and it affects the normal training. OBJECTIVE: To analyze the correlation of the incidence rate of spondy lolysis of lumbar vertebral arch with training and the original lesions at waist in recruits. DESIGN: A randomized sampling survey. SETTING: Department of Orthopaedics, the 97 Hospital of Chinese PLA. PARTICIPANTS: Totally 100 male recruits aged 18.7 years averagely en rolled in 2003 were involved in the survey. METHODS: The 100 recruits were followed up for the whole course, the X-ray examination at lumbar vertebrae of right, lateral and two-slope positions were observed before training and after 100-day reinforced training. MAIN OUTCOME MEASURES: The incidence rates of spondylolysis of vertebral arch, and whether there was slippage and other aggravations in those with spondylolysis before were mainly observed. RESULTS: All the 100 recruits entered the analysis of results. ① The in cidence rate of spondylolysis of vertebral arch before and after training: Be fore training, 5 cases had spondylolysis of L5 vertebral arch, and the incidence rate was 5%. At the end of the 100-day training, 8 cases had spondylolysis of lumbar vertebral arch, and the incidence rate increased to 8%. ② The results of X-ray examination before and after training: The Xray examination showed that isthmus narrowing of left and L5 vertebral arch occurred in 2 cases and 1 case respect ively, and spondylolysis of bilateral L5 vertebral arches occurred in 5 cases, including 1 case of degree I slip page before training. At the end of the 100-day training, the degree I slip page and below occurred in 3 of the 5 cases with spondylolysis of bilateral L5 vertebral arches before, another 3 cases with original narrowing of lumbar vertebral arch all had breakage. CONCLUSION: The incidence rate of spondylolysis of vertebral arch is associated with the training intensity. It suggestes that the examination of spinal cord should be reinforced in enrolled recruits, and the items of Xray examination at lumbar vertebrae of right, lateral and two-slope positions should be added.
2.The influence of different ranges of isokinetic quadriceps training for the knee function in patients after total knee arthroplasty
Tianjin Medical Journal 2016;44(1):91-93
Objective To study the effects of different ranges of isokinetic quadriceps training for improving the func-tion of knee joint after total knee arthroplasty (TKA),and provide the theoretical and clinical experiences for the early reha-bilitation of TKA.Methods A total of 73 TKA cases were randomly allocated into 3 groups for isokinetic quadriceps train-ing with ranges of 0°-30° (n=25), 31°-60° (n=24) and 61°-90° (n=24). The isokinetic quadriceps training was for two months. The isokinetic muscle strength and the IKS scores were recorded before and after the training in three groups. Re-sults After training, the isokinetic muscle strength increased significantly in three groups (P<0.05). The IKS scores in-creased significantly only in 0°-30° training group after training (P<0.05). There was no significant difference in IKS score before and after training in 31°-60° group and 61°-90°group. The IKS score after training was positively correlated with the isokinetic muscle strength only in 0°-30° group (P<0.05). Conclusion After TKA, isokinetic quadriceps training with a 0°-30° range of motion can improve the strength of quadriceps and the knee function.
3.Targeted therapy for small cell lung cancer
Journal of International Oncology 2015;(6):452-454
Targeted agents for small cell lung cancer (SCLC)include inhibitors of angiogenesis,tyro-sine kinase inhibitors and signal transduction pathway inhibitors.Bevacizumab,a class of antiangiogenic agent, tends to have no effects on patients. The tyrosine kinase inhibitor, for example sunitinib, may be used as a monotherapy.Signaling inhibitors including Amuvatinib and LDE225 are undergoing phaseⅠand Ⅱ trials.Pri-mary data show that SCLC is not sensitive to targeted therapy, needing more selection,so further studies are requested.
4.Treatment of recurrent small cell lung cancer
Journal of International Oncology 2012;39(5):373-376
Small-cell lung cancer (SCLG) relapses in the majority of patients, even though most patients respond to first-line therapy.Subsequent therapy can provide significant palliation and prolongation of survival for many patients. At present, topotecan is considered the standard second-line chemotherapy.Recently, amrubicin has also shown more favorable antitumor activity, and is the most promising at present.Unfortunately, targeted agents have failed to demonstrate effectiveness for SCLC.
5.Cancer and venous thromboembolism
Journal of International Oncology 2012;39(6):455-458
Thrombosis disease is a common complication of cancer. Researches show that venous thromboembelism ( VTE ) can increase the mortality rate of patients with cancer.Tissue factor (TF) and cancer procoagulant (CP) and other pathological factors are related to VTE.VTE risk factors in cancer patients can be grouped into 3 general categories:patient-related factors,cancer-related factors and treatment-related factors.Assessment of risk factors and early prevention can reduce the incidence of VTE.Immediate treatment and chronic therapy should be performed immediately after the diagnosis of VTE.
6.Advances in the experimental and clinical research of pemetrexed
China Oncology 1998;0(01):-
Pemetrexed is a multitargeted anti-metabolite.Pemetrexed has been approved as first-line treatment in malignant pleural mesothelioma(MPM)and second-line treatment in non-small cell lung cancer(NSCLC).A lot of experimental and clinical trials on pemetrexed have been conducted for the treatment of several kinds of cancer now. This paper summarizes the current developments in experimental and clinical research.
7.PRELIMINARY OBSERVATION ON SOME ASPECTS OFBIOLOGY AND PROTEIN BANDS OF METACERCARIAE OFEUPARAGONIMUS CENOCOPIOSUS
Chinese Journal of Parasitology and Parasitic Diseases 1987;0(04):-
Some biological and biochemical characteristics of metacercaria of Euparagonimus ce-nocopiosus obtained from crabs in the mountainous area of south Anhui, were compared with those of Paragonimus westermani from the same batch of crabs. The metacercariae of E. cenocopiosus prefer the location in heart rather than in the muscle of crabs. The average infection rate of crabs was 42.8% by E. cenocopiosus, while that by P. westermani was 100%. The infection rate of rats with E. cenocopiosus was 3/6 and 10/10 with P. westermani and the recovery rate of worm of these two species was 4.5-8.8% and 22-72.2% respectively. The number and pattern of protein bands of metacercaria of these two species by disc-PAGE and IEF technics were different.

Objective To evaluate relations between lung cancer and the expressions of P53 protein together with proliferating cell nuclear antigen(PCNA) in specimens of lung lesions by needle biopsy. Methods CT-guidance percutaneous biopsy of lung lesions were performed in 66 patients with the determination of expressions of p53 protein and PCNA by flow cytometer (FCM). Results 1. The sensitivity of CT-guidance percutaneous biopsy was 94.3% in 53 cases of lung cancer with the diagnostic accuracy of 90.9% totally. The complication rate of pneumothorax was 4.6%. 2. The expression of P53 protein was (29.9?2.7)% in lung cancer (53 cases), while ( 17.9 ?2.8)% in benign lesions (13 cases) (t=2.0, P0.05).Conclusions FCM plays and valuable role in determining the expression of P53 protein and PCNA in the specimen of lung cancer by CT-guided percutaneous biopsy. The expression of p53 and PCNA may be useful in the diagnosis of lung cancer by providing the relation between imaging of lung cancer and the molecular mechanism, and furthermore revealing the characteristics of molecular biology of lung cancer at protein level.
