Objective To evaluate and improve the geometrical accuracy of the magnetic resonance imaging used for gamma knife radiosurgery localization. Methods Four common MRI scan programs were used in this study. The images were transferred to the Gamma Plan treatment planning system.Deviations between stereotactic coordinates based on MR images and real geometrical positions given by the construction of the phantom insert were evaluated for each study. The deviations were further investigated as a function of the spatial position of measured points in the investigated volume. Results The geometrical coordinate errors for axial and coronal images of the selected scan programs were all less than 1 mm.Optimal imaging procedure in terms of geometrical accuracy was observed using spin echo T1 and 3D FSPGR MRI sequences in the unit.Statistically significant differences were found in axial images amongSE T1,FSE T2,FRFSE Pd,FSPGR 3D sequences (F=1497.51,1873.63,2.87,3.00,P <0.05).The error increased along with the increase of the distance between node point and centricity. Conclusions The geometrical coordinate errors is related with the imaging program in M(il)l. Proper imaging programs and parameters should be selected according to the imageology character of patients' lesions when the radiosurgery is performed.

Chinese Pediatric Emergency Medicine 2018;25(3):221-224
Extracorporeal membrane oxygenation(ECMO)is an important cardiopulmonary support technique. It is the ultimate treatment for heart failure and lung failure after conventional treatment.ECMO enables the body to temporarily replace the pulmonary function and part of the heart function by extracorpore-al gas exchange, and creates a time window for the recovery of respiratory or cardiac function. In 1974, ECMO was first used in neonates. There are many complications in the application of ECMO in neonates, including mechanical complications, bleeding and thrombosis, hemolysis, neurological complications, renal dysfunction, gastrointestinal complications, infection, etc.Long term follow-up found that growth and develop-ment are affected by varying degrees. Timely monitoring, identification of complications and appropriate treatment will improve outcomes.

Chinese Journal of Hospital Administration 2018;34(8):648-651
Objective:
To analyze cases in different groups of DRGs mortality risk ranking regarding overall medical dispute cases of the hospital from 2012 to 2017, and to study various groups of such ranking for these disputes as faced by different clinical departments, for the purpose of targeted intervention into medical risk exposures.
Methods:
Inpatient medical dispute cases in 2012-2017 period were selected, and classified into the various mortality groups by the standards and definition of BJ-DRGs. These data were used to calculate medical dispute incidence in each group, and analyze the difference between internal medicine and surgery departments.
Results:
Medical disputes of the hospital were mostly found in case groups of mortality free and those of low mortality risks, accounting for 66% of the total cases. This figure was the highest in surgical departments, having a percentage as high as 72%, and the CMI values of these cases were low as well (0.765 and 1.416 respectively).
Conclusions
As case groups of mortality free and low risks tend to attract disputes, the hospital is recommended to enhance the risk awareness and training of its medical staff and key medical regulations.
7.Neural network analysis of mechanization's impact on coal miner's occupational health
Chinese Journal of Industrial Hygiene and Occupational Diseases 2024;42(5):374-380
In order to clarify the transmission mechanism of the impact of mechanization on the occupational health of miners and to provide empirical evidence for the development of new quality productivity in the coal industry that balances health and efficiency. In August 2022, we selected a typical coal mine, constructed a comprehensive evaluation index of miners' occupational health through a questionnaire survey based on the fully connected neural network model. A Bayesian model was used to verify the influence of mechanization level on miners' occupational health. We found that: the predicted probability of occupational diseases could be used as a comprehensive indicator of the level of occupational health, providing a basis for early intervention and prevention of occupational diseases. Mechanization could directly promote the improvement of miners' occupational health level, and also indirectly affect occupational health level by influencing hazards level and work intensity. The indirect effect of mechanization on work intensity was positive, and the indirect effect of mechanization on hazards level was positive. Presented the "inverted U-shaped" process in the mechanization breakthrough semi-mechanized level would realize the economies of scale of health protection, its impact on the prevention and control of occupational hazards would turn from negative to positive.

Journal of Korean Medical Science 2012;27(3):291-299
The extracellular matrix metalloproteinase inducer (EMMPRIN) has been known to play a key regulatory role in pathological angiogenesis. A elevated activation of vascular endothelial growth factor (VEGF) following radiation injury has been shown to mediate blood-brain barrier (BBB) breakdown. However, the roles of EMMPRIN and VEGF in radiation-induced brain injury after gamma knife surgery (GKS) are not clearly understood. In this study, we investigated EMMPRIN changes in a rat model of radiation injury following GKS and examined potential associations between EMMPRIN and VEGF expression. Adult male rats were subjected to cerebral radiation injury by GKS under anesthesia. We found that EMMPRIN and VEGF expression were markedly upregulated in the target area at 8-12 weeks after GKS compared with the control group by western blot, immunohistochemistry, and RT-PCR analysis. Immunofluorescent double staining demonstrated that EMMPRIN signals colocalized with caspase-3 and VEGF-positive cells. Our data also demonstrated that increased EMMPRIN expression was correlated with increased VEGF levels in a temporal manner. This is the first study to show that EMMPRIN and VEGF may play a role in radiation injuries of the central nervous system after GKS.

Objective To explore the behavioral characteristics of response to name in 16-30 months old infants with autism spectrum disorders (ASD),in order to provide a theoretical basis for the early identification and early diagnosis. Methods Two professionals, according to the scoring criteria and using video analysis methods, evaluated the response score (RS),reaction time (RT),duration time (DT) and the rate (RR) of response to their names among ASD infants (ASD group,61 cases),who were diagnosed at Child Developmental and Behavioral Center, the Third Affiliated Hospital of Sun Yat-Sen University from April to December 2017.Then they were compared with infants with developmental delays (DD group,32 cases) and neuro-typical (NT group,33 cases) infants. Finally, researchers predicted the diagnosis for ASD infants according to the behavioral indicators, which had significant differences compared with other groups. Results Compared with DD group [RS 2 (1) score,RT 1.32 (4.65) s,DT 2.69(1.84) s] and NT group [RS 2 (1) score,RT 1.37 (4.37) s,DT 2.90 (2.23) s],RS was significantly lower [1 (1)score],RT was significantly longer [5.87 (4.64) s],and DT was significantly shorter [0.77 (1.88) s] in ASD group, and the differences were statistically significant (H =-4.91,-5.94;5.36,5.41;-4.47,-5.78;all P <0.05);while the differences between DD group and NT group were not significant(all P >0.05).The RR was significantly lower in ASD group [0.25 (0.50)] and DD group [0.50 (0.25)],compared with NT group [0.75 (0.50)],and the differences were statistically significant (H =-6.39,-4.45,all P < 0.01);while the differences between DDgroup and ASD group were not significant(P >0.05).When detecting ASD from ASD and NT infants, the area under the receiver operating characteristic curve (AUC) was 0.889 (P <0.01);when detecting ASD from ASD and DD infants,AUC was 0.924 (P < 0.01);when detecting ASD from all infants,AUC was 0.868 (P < 0.01),according to all indicators of response to name. Conclusions There are significant differences between ASD infants and DD and NT infants in response to name domain.Behavioral characteristics in the procedure of response to name can predict ASDwell.Response to name as an early social behavioral indicator, being tested at 2 years old,is still of importance for the early identification and early diagnosis of ASD.
