The expert system is an important field of the artificial intelligence. The traditional interface of the expert system is the command, menu and window at present. It limits the application of the expert system and embarrasses the enthusiasm of using expert system. Combining with the study on the expert system of network fault diagnosis, the natural language interface of the expert system has been discussed in this article. This interface can understand and generate Chinese sentences. Using this interface, the user and field experts can use the expert system to diagnose the fault of network conveniently. In the article, first, the extended production rule has been proposed. Then the methods of Chinese sentence generation from conceptual graphs and the model of expert system are introduced in detail. Using this model, the network fault diagnosis expert system and its natural language interface have been developed with Prolog.

OBJECTIVETo compare the results of femoral head replacement (FHR) and total hip replacement (THR) in treatment of subcapital femoral neck fractures (SFNF).
METHODSBetween May 1987 and July 1998, 56 elderly patients (6 5-90 years; average 73.5 years) with SFNF were treated with prosthetic replacement. Six cases were treated with unipolar FHR, 18 cases with Bateman bipolar FHR, and 32 cases with Bateman bipolar THR. All domestic prostheses were installed with cement.
RESULTSThere was no significant difference between the 2 groups in operating time and blood transfusion. Forty-nine patients were followed-up for an average of 5 years and 10 months. No wound infection or death was related to surgery. Complications in Group FHR were significantly higher than that i n Group THR.
CONCLUSIONSSince FHR is difficult to fit the bony acetabulum, it is only indicated for senile cases with poor conditions. However, the bi polar THR installed with cement is indicated for most elderly patients. Since th e femoral head and acetabulum can fit each other completely, it is more stable for taking weight-bearing earlier with less complications.

The hardware and software faults in the image guidance system may cause ring-shaped artifacts, which is more commonly induced by the aging of the hardware.During troubleshooting, the first step should be checking whether there are obvious faults in the basic hardware.Subsequently,OBI background image is collected to confirm the bad point status. If the bad point is not shielded,it can be compensated by updating the image processing bad point. The invoked Pixel Correction Maps are adopted compensate for the bad point and calibrate the image. If it is still unable to repair, replacing the detection board can be considered.Cone-beam CT (CBCT) image guidance system is an important approach to verify the position orientation and positioning accuracy in modem radiotherapy, which effectively guarantees for the safety and accuracy of radiotherapy. We should fully understand its law of aging, maintain the equipment on a regular basis and verify the image quality to ensure the normal operation of the equipment.

Objective To observe the effect of hypoxia on the expression of epithelial growth factor receptor (EGFR) and cell apoptosis of breast and cervical cancer xenografts in nude mouse models. Methods The nude mouse models with MCF-7 and HeLa xenografts were established. The degree of hypoxia and EGFR expression were observed by confocal microscopy. The influence of EGFR expression on cell apoptosis under hypoxia was observed by TUNEL assay. Results EGFR expression was either up-regulated or down-regulated in the MCF-7 and HeLa cells with high degree of hypoxia.Furthermore, the degree of apoptosis was reduced in tumor tissues with high EGFR expression compared with that in those with low expression of EGFR.Conclusion The hypoxia in MCF-7 and HeLa cells exerts heterogeneous effect on EGFR expression.Under hypoxic conditions,EGFR exoression is negatively correlated with cell apoptosis.

Intensive cancer treatment with drug combination is widely exploited in the clinic but suffers from inconsistent pharmacokinetics among different therapeutic agents. To overcome it,the emerging nanomedicine offers an unparalleled opportunity for encapsulating multiple drugs in a nano-carrier.Herein,a two-step super-assembled strategy was performed to unify the pharmacokinetics of a pep-tide and a small molecular compound. In this proof-of-concept study, the bioinformatics analysis firstly revealed the potential synergies towards hepatoma therapy for the associative inhibition of exportin 1(XPO1)and ataxia telangiectasia mutated-Rad3-related(ATR),and then a super-assembled nano-pill(gold nano drug carrier loaded AZD6738 and 97-110 amino acids of apoptin(AP)(AA@G))was con-structed through camouflaging AZD6738(ATR small-molecule inhibitor)-binding human serum albumin onto the AP-Au supramolecular nanoparticle. As expected, both in vitro and in vivo experiment results verified that the AA@G possessed extraordinary biocompatibility and enhanced therapeutic effect through inducing cell cycle arrest, promoting DNA damage and inhibiting DNA repair of hepatoma cell. This work not only provides a co-delivery strategy for intensive liver cancer treatment with the clinical translational potential, but develops a common approach to unify the pharmacokinetics of peptide and small-molecular compounds, thereby extending the scope of drugs for developing the advanced com-bination therapy.

Objective The literature study the setup errors of head and neck, thoracic, abdominal and pelvic tumors by megavoltage fan-beam CT based image guidance in TOMO-HD to provide the margin enlarging from clinic target volume (CTV) to planning target volume (PTV) in treatment planning system of TOMO-HD. Methods 103 patients with head and neck (30 patients), thoracic (42 patients), abdominal and pelvic (31 patients) carcinoma were enrolled. Megavoltage fan-beam CT based image guidance in tomotherapy-HD was used to acquire CT scan before every treatment. The left-right (X), superior-inferior (Y), anterior-posterior (Z) and rotation (Fy) setup errors of patients can be obtained from the tomography image automatically restructured by the system. Calculating the systematic error and the random error in the three dimensions and check whether the setup data accord with the normal distribution or not, then acquire the data expand in the three directions. Results According to 2593 fan-beam CT scans, the shift errors (µ ± s) in X, Y, Z and Fy (rotation) of three study group were [(−0.31 ± 2.16) mm、(1.09 ± 3.56) mm、(2.36 ± 2.27) mm, (0.29 ± 0.96)°] (head and neck tumor), [(−0.98 ± 2.95) mm、(0.45 ± 6.86) mm、(3.79 ± 2.47) mm, (0.18 ± 0.60)°] (thoracic cancer) and [(−0.86 ± 2.85) mm、(−1.59 ± 6.91) mm、(5.77 ± 2.40) mm, (0.20 ± 0.68)°](abdominal and pelvic carcinoma). The systematic errors (∑) and random errors (σ) in X, Y, Z dimensions of patients with head and neck, thoracic, abdominal and pelvic tumors were (1.06 mm and 1.84 mm), (1.93 mm and 3.43 mm), (2.41 mm and 2.71 mm), (1.10 mm and 2.56 mm), (3.79 mm and 5.46 mm), (1.38 mm and 1.99 mm) and (1.39 mm and 0.87 mm), (4.98 mm and 5.69 mm), (1.19 mm and 2.05 mm), respectively. Conclusion It is recommended as a reference for image guidance in TOMO-HD according to the frequency distribution of setup errors, for patients with head and neck, chest and abdominal and pelvic tumors, the maximum range of motion in three dimensions are (5.00, 5.00, 5.00) mm, (6.63, 17.25, 16.00) mm and (6.49, 16.24, 13.60) mm.
