Presently, with the development of tissue engineering technology, medical workers have seen a more effective and safer therapy to repair and reconstruct tissue defects. Many domestic and abroad animal experiments have confirmed that it is feasible, effective and superior to use tissue-engineered bone and cartilage for repairing tissue defects. There have been achieved considerable results using tissue-engineered bone and cartilage to repair tissue defects and reconstruct tissue functions through the animal experiments and initial clinical studies. Compare with traditional operations, tissue engineering technology has a broader clinical application, especially in orthopedics, department of stomatology, cranio-facial surgery and ear, nose and throat, department. However, through the research, we recognize some deficiencies of tissue engineering, such as single tissue components, lack of biological activity, limited for scaffolds, tissue regeneration and productions.

The construction plan of information service platform for biomedical industry groups was proposed, including expert intelligence database, special database, advanced information service platform and biomedical achievements transformation platform.The information ( including names, subject fields and research interests of experts) in expert intelligence database can be searched according to the subject fields and research interests of experts.The special database is consisted of database of special literature, genes, proteins, special drugs, achievements, patents and demands.The information service platform can provide literature retrieval service, literature novelty assessment service, data-mining service, information analysis service, decision-making support service, and competitive informa-tion service.The biomedical achievements transformation platform can provide service for transforming achievements and for solving difficulty demand problems.

Objective To investigate the clinical characteristics,diagnosis,therapy and maternal and perinatal prognosis of generalized pustular psoriasis of pregnancy.Methods Clinical data for seven inpatients with generalized pustular psoriasis of pregnancy were retrospectively analyzed from January 1,2005 to December 31,2012.Results Three patients had family history of psoriasis and five had previous history of psoriasis.All skin lesions were large patches of erythema,with needlepoint to miliary size pustules and scales.Two patients had oral involvement and three had nail involvement.Biopsy and bacterial culture were performed on five patients,in whom histopathological changes of pustular psoriasis were found,and bacterial culture was negative except in one patient.Among the patients,four had confirmed cause of disease; six patients were complicated with fever; four had increased leukocytes; seven had elevated neutrophils and C-reactive protein;five had increased total protein; and six had increased albumin.The disease was diagnosed according to the clinical manifestations and laboratory tests.Comprehensive treatment with glucocorticosteroids,antibiotics and local treatment were performed.Four patients had live births,and three patients underwent odinopoeia.Two babies were healthy,one had died,and another had varus foot deformity.Three patients had pustular relapse after labor.Conclusions Fetal-placental functions of patients with generalized pustular psoriasis of pregnancy should be monitored closely.Early diagnosis,treatment and termination of pregnancy can improve the maternal and perinatal prognosis.

Objective To understand the etiology and clinical manifestation of malignant atrophic papulosis,to report the psychological care of one case with malignant atrophic papules,and patients to maintain a good psychological state.Methods Nursing measures such as strengthening skin care,reducing discomfort,avoiding aggravating the injury; attention to abdominal signs,detection of changes in disease condition,prevention of intestinal perforation,related medication education to increase medication compliance were given to this patients.Results The abdominal pain disappeared,lower limb muscle force recovered,and the patient was discharged after the disease condition was steady.Conclusions To patients with malignant atrophic papulosis,early detection and early treatment should be given to them.

Objective To explore the relationship between the endogenous plasma cortisol and the airway remodeling associated cytokines which was infected respiratory syncytial virus (RSV) through measuring the levels of them.Methods Forty-two infants diagnosed as acute RSV infection were divided into two groups,severe group(21 cases) and mild group(21 cases),as well as 21 healthy infants for control group.The levels of matrix metalloproteinase-9 (MMP-9),tissue inhibitor of metalloproteinase-1 (TIMP-1) and transforming growth factor- β1 (TGF- β 1) were determined by ELISA,the levels of plasma cortisol were determined by radio immunoaasay.Results The levels of plasma cortisol in severe group [(236.25 ± 119.87)μg/L] were significantly higher than those in mild group [(130.62 ±73.04)μg/L] and control group [(56.35 ±34.52)μg/L],there were significant differences (P ＜0.05),and the mild group was significandy higher than the control group(P＜ 0.05).The levels of TIMP-1 and TGF- β 1 in severe group were significantly higher than those in mild group(P＜ 0.05),and the mild group was significantly higher than the control group (P ＜ 0.05 ); the ratio of MMP-9 and TIMP-1 in severe group was significantly lower than that in control group (P ＜0.05);the levels of MMP-9 in severe group were significantly higher than those in mild group (P ＜0.05).The levels of lymphocytes,eosinophilic cells and CD4+,CD8+ in severe group were significantly lower than those in mild group (P＜0.05),and significantly lowerthan those in control group (P ＜ 0.05 ).The levels of eosinophilic cells and CD8+ in mild group were significantly lower than those in control group(P ＜ 0.05 ).Conclusion The infection of RSV results in the imbalance of the airway remodeling associated cytokines,which is a danger factor,and the imbalance may be related to the increased level of the plasma cortisol.

Objective To explore the effect of related factors on survival of patients with unresectable pancreatic cancer aged 70 years and over. Methods Fifty-seven patients with unresectable locally advanced or metastatic pancreatic cancer aged 70 years and over were enrolled.Their survival time were analyzed with SPSS 13.0 by taking account of gender, age, smoking history,alcohol history, pancreatic disease history, diabetes mellitus history, Eastern Collaborative Oncology Group (ECOG) scoring, chemotherapy, radiotherapy, CEA and CA199 levels. Results Gender,ECOG scoring, chemotherapy and radiotherapy had relationship with overall survival. The median survival time was 8.9 months and one-year survival rate was 28.1%. The median survival was (10.7±5.4) months in male group and (5.5±2.3) months in female group (P=0.000). The median survival was(10.1±5.8) months in patients with ECOG 0～1 group and(7.3±3.8)months in patients with ECOG 2 group (P=0.040). The median survival was(7.76±5.27) months in nochemotherapy group and(11.5±5.0)months in chemotherapy group (P=0.038). The median survival was(8.87±5.36)months in no radiotherapy group and (13.7±3.8) months in radiotherapy group (P=0.048). Conclusions The patients who have better ECOG performance status and receive chemotherapy or radiotherapy show better survival.

Objective To investigate the effect of intrathecal injection of ropivacaine in the treatment of carpal tunnel syndrome with nervi medianus entrapment syndrome. Methods 164 patients with carpal tunnel syndrome were selected and divided into two groups, 82 cases in the control group were given intrathecal injection of lidocaine + methylprednisolone + vitamin B1, 82 cases in the experimental group received injection of ropivacaine + methylprednisolone + vitamin B1, the symptom score, nerve electrophysiological examination index, high frequency ultrasound quantitative parameters, the clinical effect and total recurrence rate were compared after treatment. Results The effective rate in the control group(74.39%)was lower than the experimental group(87.81%)(P<0.05); compared with the control group, the visual analogue scale (VAS), global symptom score (GSS), fatigue severity scale (FSS) and Levine carpal tunnel syndrome questionnaire score were lower in the experimental group after treatment, the nervi medianus distal motor latency (DML) level was lower, sensory nerve action potential (SNAP) and sensory conduction velocity (SCV) levels were higher after treatment, the diameter of the nervi medianus, the transverse diameter (a), anteroposterior diameter (b) of nervi medianus and cross sectional area (CSA) were lower after treatment, with significant difference (P<0.05); the total recurrence rate in the control group(53.66%)was higher than the experimental group(37.80%), with significant difference (P<0.05). Conclusion The clinical effect of intrathecal injection of ropivacaine in the treatment of carpal tunnel syndrome with nervi medianus entrapment syndrome was obvious, can effectively alleviate pain, improve the symptoms of nervi medianus entrapment, restore the nervi medianus conduction velocity and function, and reduce the recurrence rate.

A large number of starring biomedical industry clusters are emerged in recent years with the develop-ment of biomedical industry. The information access approaches of users in biomedical industry clusters consisting of higher education institutions, scientific research institutions and enterprises, the types of biomedical information they need, the transformation ways of their achievements, and the major barriers of information access were thus in-vestigated in this paper with questionnaires. The different information behaviors were compared between the users of scientific research group and enterprise group. The characteristics of information need of users in biomedical indus-try clusters were summarized, and following suggestions were put forward, namely establishing information service platform, perfecting institution-oriented information service model, and improving information service system for bi-omedical industry clusters.

Objective To evaluate the efficacy of automated medication management system in increasing clinical anesthesia management specification.Methods Sixty registered anesthesiologists of both sexes in our hospital,residents or attending physicians,with 1-10 yr of work experience,were divided into 2 groups (n =30 each) using a random number table:traditional medication management mode group (group T) and automated medication management system group (group A).In the clinical anesthesia work,traditional artificial management mode was used in group T,the mode of automated medication management system was used in group A,and 2 licensed pharmacists worked in the center pharmacy of our hospital were introduced for each group.Time of taking medicine was recorded by licensed pharmacists,and the error rates of taking medicine and recording were determined by licensed pharmacists.Results Compared with group T,the error rates of taking medicine and recording were significantly decreased (P＜0.01),and no significant change was found in the time of taking medicine in group A (P＞0.05).Medication errors including taking wrong anesthesia drug,wrong prescription recording,wrong names of the common drugs and drug omission were not detected in group A.Conclusion Application of automated medication management system can reduce the occurrence of errors made in taking medicine and recording,specify medication management and increase the quality of clinical anesthesia management.

Objective To Analyze CD4+ cell count which embodies curative effect in HIV and patients with AIDS, who have treated with TCM for half a year. Methods According to CD4+cell count, the patients were divided into 4 phases. Their CD4+cell count were analyzed before and after the treatment. Results 1.Rank sun test showed that CD4+cell count were significantly improved in people who used TCM treatment. On the whole, CD4+cell count was(317.76±175.61) in 1 cu mm before treatment, which was(350.60±175.92) in 1 cu mm after treatment, P<0.01. 2. Ridit showed that patients whose CD4+cell count more than 500 were in phase I. Their R=0.614, and the 95%confidence interval was 0.5702 to 0.6579. Patients whose CD4+cell count more than 350 and less than 500 were in phase II. Their R=0.575, and the 95%confidence interval was 0.5439 to 0.6062. Patients whose CD4+cell count more than 200 and less than 350 were inphase III. Their R=0.460 and the 95%confidence interval was 0.4347 to 0.4849. Patients whose CD4+cell count less than 200 were in phase IV. Their R=0.428, and the 95%confidence interval was 0.3971 to 0.4589. There was no overlap between phase III, phase IV and phase I, phase II in 95% confidence interval. Conclusion TCM has the advantages in strengthening vital qi, but that is worse than western medicine in effort of expelling pathogen.
