Objective To investigate the role of sonoporation and the deblic of microbubbles with perfluoropropane gas and albumin in the mechanisms of microbubble-mediated gene enhancement by experimenting in skeletal muscle in C57B10/mdx mice. Methods Plasmid DNA (10 μg) encoding green fluorescent protein (GFP) was mixed with Optison or SonoVue dissolved in saline and injected into the tibialis anterior (TA) muscle of /C57B10/mdx mice with and without adjunct ultrasound. The efficiencies of GFP transgene expression were determined under different experimental conditions. C57B10 mice as normal control:①C57B10 mice + saline (4 left TAs);②C57B10 mice + saline + ultrasound (4 right TAs) ;③C57B10 mice + Optison(4 left TAs);④C57B10 mice+ Optison + ultrasound(4 right TAs);⑤ C57B10 mice + SonoVue(4 left TAs) ;⑥C57B10 mice + SonoVue + ultrasound(4 right TAs). Mdx mice groups:① mdx mice + saline(4 left TAs) ;② mdx mice + saline + ultrasound(4 right TAs);③ mdx mice + Optison (4 left TAs) ; ④ mdx mice + Optison + ultrasound (4 right TAs); ⑤mdx mice + SonoVue(4 left TAs) ;⑥mdx mice + SonoVue + ultrasound(4 right TAs). Objective To assess the vaIue of speckle tracking imaging (STI) in quantifying the regional myocardial strain in systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE) group.Methods ① Sixty subjects were divided into SLE group and normal group.High frame rate two-dimensional images were recorded from the apical two-chamber view,long-axis view and four-chamber view of the left ventricle (LV).Peak systolic strain of each view of 18 segments were measured by automated functional imaging (AFI) software of 2-DSE.All parameters were compared between the two groups.② Twenty cases were randomly taken from the normal group.The same observer at different times and two observers measure the strain of left ventricular respectively.The results of the measurement between the two groups were compared with unpaired t test and its relevance was analyzed using Pearson's correlation analysis.ResultsLeft ventricular two-dimensional longitudinal strain gradually increased from the base to apex in the normal group.There were statistically differences between the apical segments and the basal,middle segments of every left ventricular wall (P＜0.05).The same wall segment time to peak myocardial systolic peak strain was consistent.Left ventricular two-dimensional longitudinal strain gradually increased from the base to apex in the SLE group,except for the anterio-septal and anterior wall [ (-18.7±4.2)％,(-16.3±9.4)％,(-18.1±10.5)％ vs (-19.0±9.0)％,(-18.6±7.9)％,(-17.7±1.4)％ ].There was no statistically significant difference between the apical segments and the basal,middle segments of every left ventricular wall(P＞0.05).All parameters of S were significantly higher in the normal group than those of the SLE group.The difference was statistically signoficant (P＜0.05).The time to peak systolic peak strain of every segments was not consistent.The results from the same observer at different times and peak systolic myocardial strain measurements by the two observers were correlated well(P＜0.01).Conclusion The myocardial function assessment by STI technology in the SLE patients is significantly different from that of the normal control:SLE patients with left ventricular myocardial damage can be manifested as reduced regional myocardial systolic peak strain.

Objective To analyze the imaging characteristics of hepatic involvement in Langerhans cell histiocytosis(LCH) in children on MRCP, MRI and CT. Methods Twenty-nine children from three children hospitals in China, who were diagnosed as hepatic involvement by disseminated LCH during Aug 2008 and Jan 2015 were included in this study. Their MRCP (n=16), MRI (n=22), contrast?enhanced CT (n=15) data were retrospectively analyzed. The stenoses and dilatation of the intrahepatic bile ducts, the common hepatic bile duct and its first order branches and the common bile duct were evaluated on the MRCP image. The size and shape of the liver, the imaging characteristics of the periportal lesions in the Glisson sheath and hepatic parenchymal lesions were also evaluated on the cross?sectional images. Results MRCP indicated alternative stenoses/dilatation of the bile duct tree (n=16), stenoses of the common hepatic duct and its first?order branches (n=15), partialindistinctness of the common bile duct (n=2) and multiple cystic lesions along the biliary tree (n=5). On the cross?sectional images, the periportal lesions in the Glisson sheath were observed in 28 children. On MRI, the periportal lesions were shown in all the 22 children with MRI, presented as hypo-signal intensity on T1WI, hyper?signal intensity on T2WI (n=11) or mixed?signal intensity on T1WI and T2WI (n=11); On CT, the periportal lesions were found in 14 of the 15 children with CT, presenting as low density (n=13) and mixed density (n=1). Multiple nodular or cyst?like parenchymal lesions were observed in 21 patients including 18 patients on MRI and 5 patients on enhanced CT. Sixteen patients presented as hypo?intensity on T1WI, hyper?intensity on T2WI and low density on plain CT, and 5 patients with iso? or hypo?intensity on T1WI, hypo?intensity on T2WI,and milder enhancement relative to the adjacent parenchyma on contrast?enhanced CT. Conclusions The imaging characteristics of hepatic involvement by LCH include alternative stenoses and dilatation of the intrahepatic ducts, stenoses of the common hepatic bile duct and its first?order branches on MRCP, the periportal lesions in the Glisson sheath and hepatic parenchymal nodular or cyst?like lesions on cross?sectional images.

This study sought to disclose whether Hurst index can be used as a criterion for distinguishing sinus and atrial arrhythmia signals. Normal sinus rhythm beats, atrial premature contraction (APC) beats, and sinus bradycardia (SBR) signals, were taken from the MIT-BIH standard database. Hurst index method was used to distinguish the two kinds of arrhythmia. The results showed that the Hurst exponents of three kinds of signals were larger than 0.5, but they were in different value region. The data indicated that the long-term relevant character was the best for normal signal, better for sinus bradycardia, and the worst for atrial premature beats. So Hurst index is a useful identification criterion for distinguishing sinus and atrial arrhythmia signals.

ObjectiveTo analyze the characteristics of death and premature death of 4 major chronic diseases （cardiovascular and cerebrovascular diseases， malignant tumors， chronic respiratory diseases and diabetes） in Taizhou City from 2011 to 2018，and provide data basis for the government to formulate chronic disease prevention planning. MethodsThe death data of household registration residents in Taizhou City from 2011 to 2018 were derived from the Chronic Disease Surveillance Information Management System in Zhejiang Province. The death toll ratio of chronic diseases， the mortality rate of chronic diseases， the probability of premature death of chronic diseases were analyzed. The standardization rate was calculated six times in 2010. Population composition of the census. The Joinpoint Regression Program 4.2 software was used for calculating annual percent change （APC） and its statistical test results. ResultsFrom 2011 to 2018， there were 231 724 chronic disease deaths in Taizhou City， with a mortality rate of 486.52/10⁵ and a standardized mortality rate of 381.55/10⁵. The proportion of chronic disease deaths to total deaths was 79.89%， of which males were higher than females and rural areas were higher than urban areas.From 2011 to 2018， the standardized mortality and early death probability of cardiovascular and cerebrovascular diseases， malignant tumors and chronic respiratory diseases in Taizhou showed a downward trend （P<0.05）， the standardized mortality of diabetes （P=0.46） and the early death probability （P=0.22） did not decline， and the mortality of all age groups of the above four types of chronic diseases in rural areas was higher than that in urban areas. The mortality of the four types of chronic diseases from high to low are cardiovascular and cerebrovascular diseases， malignant tumors， chronic respiratory diseases and diabetes， and the mortality tends to increase with age. From 2011 to 2018， the probability of premature death from four types of chronic diseases in Taizhou City showed a downward trend， from 13.49% in 2011 to 10.49% in 2018， with an average annual decrease of 2.97%. The difference was statistically significant （t=‒5.83，P<0.05）. ConclusionChronic disease death is the main cause of death in Taizhou City. In order to reduce the mortality rate of chronic diseases， effective prevention and control measures for chronic diseases should be carried out， especially the prevention and control of diabetes and male chronic diseases.
