1.Study on the determination of metronidazole and amoxicillin in Bijiaxilin tablet by HPLC
Chinese Pharmaceutical Journal 2001;(2):115-118
OBJECTIVE In order to control the quality of Bijiaxilin tablet, a method for the determination of metronidazole and amoxicillin was developed.METHOD A HPLC procedure was established.A 6.0 mm×150 mm Shim-Pack CLC-ODS column with a mobile phase consisting of pH6.5,0.02 mol*L-1 phosphate buffer-acetonitrile(90∶10) was used.A 10 μL portion of the sample solution was chromatographed and detected at 272 nm.The effects of the types of the mobile phase on the retention behaviour of metronidazole, amoxicillin and the other components in the samples were investigated. The effect of the solvent used for sample preparation on the stability of metronidazole and amoxicillin was also studied.RESULTS Metronidazole, amoxicillin and the other components in the samples were separated completely. The recoveries were 99.88% for metronidazole and 99.96% for amoxicillin with RSD less than 1.7%.CONCLUSION The proposed method is selective, simple, accurate and precise.

Aim: To study pharmacokinetics of aconitine, mesaconitine and hypaconitine in rats after single oral administration of decoctions composed with Radix Aconiti Lateralis. Methods: Four groups of rats were orally administered four decoctions including decoction a(Sini decoction),decoction b(decoction composed with Radix Aconiti Lateralis),decoction c(decoction composed with Radix Aconiti Laterali and Radix et Rhizoma Glycyrrhizae Praeparata Cum Melle)and decoction d(decoction composed with Radix Aconiti Laterali and Rhizoma Zingiberis),respectively.Quantitative analysis of aconitine, mesaconitine and hypaconitine in rat plasma was achieved using a liquid chromatography-electrospray ionization/tandem mass spectrometry method.Pharmacokinetic parameters were estimated using DAS 2.0.Results: Pharmacokinetic parameters of aconitine, mesaconitine and hypaconitine were different after oral administration of four decoctions according to Radix Aconiti Laterali combined with different herbal medicines.Multiple peaks were observed in plasma concentration-time curve after oral administration of the decoction of herb couple Radix Aconiti Laterali and Radix et Rhizoma Glycyrrhizae Praeparata Cum Melle, and the results showed a delay in tmax and a prolonger in MRT0-t compared with the decoction of Radix Aconiti Latera-lis.When Radix Aconiti Lateralis was combined with Radix et Rhizoma Glycyrrhizae Praeparata Cum Melle and Rhizoma Zingiberis at the same time in Sini decoction, tmax was delayed too but MRT0-t,was shorten than that of the group of Radix Aconiti Lateralis. Conclusion: The pharmacokinetic parameters of the three compounds obtained in this work shows that the pharmacokinetics of aconitine, mesaconitine and hypaconitine were influenced diversely when Radix Aconiti Laterali was combined with different herbal medicines.

Objective:To investigate the risk factors of postoperative recurrence of parastomal hernia repair. Methods:The clinical and follow-up data of 128 patients undergoing parastomal hernia repair at the the Central Hospital of Wuhan, Tongji Medical College of Huazhong University of Science and Technology from Jan 1, 2013 to Dec 31, 2022 was analyzed retrospectively. Results:Postoperative recurrence was confirmed in 32 patients during follow-up, and the recurrence rates were 13.8% , 24.8% and 25.0% at 1',3' and 5 years .Univariate analysis showed that body mass index (BMI) , chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), type of stoma, prophylactic stoma displacement, and surgical options were the risk factors for recurrence after parastomal hernia repair. Multiple Logistic regression analysis showed that BMI, COPD, prophylactic stoma displacement, and surgical options were independent risk factors for the recurrence after parastomal hernia ( P< 0.05). Conclusion:The occurrence of hernia recurrence after parastomal hernia repair is closely related to patients' BMI, COPD, prophylactic stoma displacement and the surgical options.
