Objective NAC therapy was used to observe the effect of TNF-?,hs-CRP,PaO2,PaCO2and lung function in patients with COPD,so as to evaluate the therapeutic effect. Methods 65 patients with COPD were recruited and the patients were randomly divided into 2 treatment groups:control group (n=31) and experimental group (n=34). Patients in the two groups received the conventional treatment of COPD in unchanged dosage for the duration of the study except stopping using antibotic drug after infection was resolved. NAC tablets were taken orally at a dose of 600mg once a day in experimental group. After 8 weeks treatment,we appraised lung function and the plasma level of TNF-?,hs-CRP,PaO2 and PaCO2. Results Compared with normal controls, the plasma levels of TNF-? and hs-CRP increased significantly. The higher level of those ,the higher lung function class was in 65 COPD patients, and there was significant effect(P

AIM: To establish the quality control standard for Compound Dingfengzhitong Capsule (Radix Notoginseng, Radix Saposhnikoviae, Radix Angelicae Dahuricae). METHODS: Radix Saposhnikoviae, Radix Angelicae Dahuricae in capsule were identified by TLC, and the content of ginsenoside R g1 was determined by HPLC. RESULTS: Radix Saposhnikoviae, Radix Angelicae Dahuricae could be identified by TLC. The Ginsenoside R g1 showed a good linear relationship at a range of 0.5286?g~26.43?g, r=0.9999(n=6) , the average recovery was 99.94%, and RSD was 1.34%( n =9). CONCLUSION: The method is accurate with the good reproducibility and can be used for the quality control of Compound Dingfengzhitong Capsules.

Objective:To study the correlation of leucocyte level of peripheral blood with degree of pyretic pulmonary syndrome in different bacterial pneumonia patients and to provide evidence in clinical practice. Methods:To observe pneumonia patients that had been healed in our respiration department of The Jiangxi Province Chinese Medicine Hospital from January,2006 to December,2007 years, incorporating the non-foundation disease or the chronic obstuctive pulmonary disease or chronic cor corpulmonale,We were to summarize relation degree of pyretic pulnonary syndrome to the white blood cell countingthe neutral granular cell percentage relevance. Results:From the non-foundation disease's pneumonia patients group, degree of pyretic pulnonary syndrome and the peripheral blood white blood cell counting and the neutral granular cell level had obvious relevance(P
