Objective To evaluate the efficacy of modifiedXiaochengqi decoction in treatment of gastroparesis syndrome (GS).Methods A total of 81 patients with GS from 2010 July to 2013 July in HuiZhou Municipal Central Hospital were selected and randomly recruited into a control group and a treatment group. The control group was treated with domperidone, 15-30 min before the meal, while the treatment group was additionally treated with modifiedXiaochengqi decoction on the basis of the control group. Both groups were treated for 4 weeks. The clinical curative effect, and the symptoms in both groups were observed. The serum motilin and gastrin concentration were measured by radio-immunity, the preprandial and postprandial electrogastrography was performed. Results The total effective rate in the treatment group was significantly higher than that in the control group (72.5%vs. 31.7%;χ2=11.911,P=0.000). The serum levels of motilin (treatment group: 532.8±16.7 ng/Lvs. 355.2±14.3 ng/L,t=51.089,P=0.000; control group: 505.1 ± 21.3 ng/Lvs. 372.9 ± 18.4 ng/L,t=30.074,P=0.000) and gastrin (treatment group: 69.8 ± 15.3 ng/Lvs. 54.3 ± 13.8 ng/L, t=4.758,P=0.000; control group: 62.6 ± 14.2 ng/Lvs. 53.4 ± 12.3 ng/L,t=3.136,P=0.002) were significantly reduced, and their decrease in the treatment group were greater than those in the control group (t values were 6.503, 2.196, allP<0.05). After the treatment, the dominant power (preprandial period: 84.5 ± 14.8μVvs. 72.3 ± 15.0μV, t=3.684,P<0.01; postprandial period: 100.5 ± 17.3μVvs.89.3 ± 15.9μV,t=5.713,P=0.000) and dominant frequency (preprandial period: 4.3 ± 0.4 cpmvs. 3.9 ± 0.2 cpm,t=3.035,P=0.000; postprandial period: 4.7 ± 0.5 cpmvs. 4.4 ± 0.5 cpm,t=2.700,P=0.000) were significantly higher, while the percentage of bradygastria (preprandial period: 50.6% ± 16.6%vs. 60.1% ± 16.3%,t=2.599,P=0.000;postprandial period: 36.6% ± 14.8%vs. 57.4% ± 15.3%,t=6.217, P=0.000) was significantly lower in the treatment group compared with the control group at preprandial and postprandial periods.ConclusionXiaochengqi decoction can obviously promote the gastric motility, and reduce the serum levels of motilin and gastrin in patients with GS.

The characteristics of ductal adenocarcinoma of colon under eieciror: microscopy were stout and dense microvill, with small roots buried in the top of cytoplasm. The ullrarnorphological changes of carcinomatous infiltration was similar to the picture observed in vitro cultivation of cancer cells. In 104 cases out of 159, there was an over expression of ras oncogenes P21, indicating that carcinoma of colon was related to activation of ras oncogenes. Examination with monoclonal antibodies yielded a positive rate of 83.4%- 95.7%, indicating that most of the carcinomas had colon related antigens. This phenomenon should play an important role in raising the diagnostic accuracy, and it also should serve as an indicator of effective treatment. In 62 cases of mucoid adenocarcinoma and 30 cases of signet ring cell carcinoma, there was a marked reduction of mueoitin sulfate with an increase in sialic acid mucus. The letter was a glycoprotein containing hydroxyl mucus, and it facilitated the separation of cancer cells to infiltrate and metastasize.in 134 cases, AgNOR was quantified, and there were 13.05? 1.48 granules in each mucleas. There was more abundant AgNOR in undifferentiated cancer, while the number of AgNOR fluctuated between 10.56 to 11.83 in papillary adenocarcinoma, ductal adenocarcinoma, and mucoid adenocarcinoma. indicating the qunantity of AgNOR was related to degree of malignancy in colonic carcinoma.

Objective To investigate the method of establishing a model of delay eyeblink condi-tioning ( DEC) in no surgical cynomolgus monkey and analyze the related acquisition rule. Methods Using the special monkey chairs to fix 6 adult male cynomolgus monkeys, they were sitting on the chairs and keep-ing awake, and heads could rotate freely during the whole training session. In the experiment, the 6 monkeys were trained in DEC with a tone (500 ms,85 dB) as the conditioned stimulus (CS),paired with a corneal oxygen-puff (100 ms,5 psi) as the unconditioned stimulus (US).There were 120 trials per-session,and 2 sessions per-day.During the experiments,an infrared emitter/detector attached to spectacles for eyeblink re-cording,the data of conditioned response ( CR) and startle response ( SR) were analyzed offline.Result-s Among the 6 cynomolgus monkeys,4 of them completed all of the training process of DEC and 3 monkeys had successful acquisition of DEC.The average CR rate in the last training session reached ( 64.67 ± 2.00)%,(P<0.01);1 monkey only showed a high acquisition rate( 85.00%) at the first training session, and the low CR rate in the next training sessions with the average rate of 18.16%,suggesting that the DEC model was failed to established. The SR rates in 4 cynomolgus monkeys were low with average rate of 5.47%. Conclusion Although the DEC behavior training of the cynomolgus monkey is easy to be influenced by many inside or outside factors,DEC can be obtained under the condition of non surgery and proper braking.

Objective We aimed to explor the correlation between the serum resistin levels and the collapse process of femoral head necrosis. Methods Eighty-eight patients with osteonecrosis of the femoral head were included in this study (26, 34 and 28 cases at ARCO stage Ⅱ, Ⅲ and Ⅳ, respectively). Fifty healthy controls were enrolled. The serum resistin levels were detected with ELISA method. We compared the serum resistin levels between the patient group and control group. The differences of serum resistin levels between different ARCO stagesand various disease causes were analyzed in the patient group. Results The resistin levels were significantly higher in patients with osteonecrosis of the femoral than healthy control group (P = 0.026). Compared with control group, the resistin levels significantly increased in patients at ARCO stage Ⅲ and ARCO stage Ⅳ respectively (P = 0.001).The resistin levels of procollapse group (ARCO stage Ⅲ and Ⅳ) were significantly higher than that of precollapse group (ARCO stage Ⅱ) (P = 0.000). There was no statistic difference between ARCO stage Ⅲ andⅣ in resistin levels (P> 0.05). No statistical significance was found between different disease causes. ROC curve analysis of resisrin level indicated theertain accuracy (AUC = 0.749) , sensitivity and significant specificity (77.4%, 61.5%, respectively) in the diagnosis of femoral head necrosis. Conclusions Resistin is closely related to the collapse process of femoral head necrosis. The level of resistin was significantly increased after the collapse of femoral head, which could be useful for the clinical diagnosis of the collapse of femoral head necrosis.
