The rapid development of aging has brought new challenges to the elderly nursing service.Traditional nursing education is difficult to meet the needs of elderly nursing personnel cultivation. The training experience of other countries will provide a reference for the training of elderly nursing talents in China,so as to meet the needs of the society. This paper analyzes the current status of the geriatric nursing personnel cultivation in the United States from three aspects:the elderly nursing education in the United States, the training of the senior practice nurses and the training of the elderly nursing teachers, and according to the national conditions of our country,it is pointed out that the training of elderly nursing personnel should pay attention to curriculum setting to cultivate senior nursing professionals, pay attention to professional qualification certification and train advanced specialist nurses in geriatric nursing, pay attention to evidence-based practice and train characteristic TCM nurses in geriatric nursing, pay attention to teachers' leadership and cultivate high-level talents especially elites in geriatric nursing.

Objective:To sinicize the Gerontological nursing competence (GeroNursingCom) scale and test its reliability and validity. Methods:This was a cross sectional investigation. The Brislin translation model was used for normal translation and back-translation, cultural adjustment and pre-investigation. The Chinese version of the GeroNursingCom scale was formed according to expert comments. From September to October 2021, a questionnaire survey was conducted by convenient sampling method on 312 nursing undergraduates from 3 undergraduate medical schools in Kunming to test its reliability and validity. Results:The Chinese version of the GeroNursingCom scale included 11 dimensions and a total of 50 items. The overall Cronbach′s α coefficient of the scale was 0.909, the Cronbach′s α coefficient of each dimension was 0.625-0.912, the split-half reliability coefficient was 0.768, and the test-retest reliability was 0.845. The scale-level content validity value was 0.930, and the item-level content validity value was 0.830-1.000. Exploratory factor analysis extracted a total of 11 common factors with eigenvalues>1, and the common interpretation of the results was 68.374%.Conclusions:The Chinese version of GeroNursingCom scale has good reliability and validity, and can be used as a tool to evaluate nursing interns' geriatric nursing ability.

Objective To Pulse oximetry saturation has been wildly used clinically. It has been reported that pulse oximetry plethysmographic waveform (POP) reflected the peripheral tissue perfusion. In this study,we parameterized POP,observed the value of POP parameters in normal adults, and established the normal reference value range. Methods A multi-center prospective descriptive study.Total of 1 019 adult volunteers with normovolemia from 7 cities were enrolled in this study.Sex,age, height, weight and pulse oximetry data in awake and spontaneous breathing under in quiet conditions in the room temperature were collected.POP parameters and perfusion index were analyzed using MATLAB 2012a software. The normal reference value ranges of POP parameters, including the amplitude of POP (Amp) and the area under the curve of POP (AUC),were formulated. Results Statistical differences of POP parameters were detected between men and women in the normal adult. The 95% confidence reference value of POP parameters in normal population was as follows:Amp (104.8-2298.7) PVA and AUC (3265.8-6028.5) PVPGin total,Amp (129.4-2433.6) PVA and AUC (3319.0-5862.2) PVPG in male;Amp (89.5-2138.2) PVA and AUC (3163.9-5929.9) PVPG in female. Conclusions POP,including the amplitude of POP (Amp) and the area under the curve of POP (AUC),had normal reference value ranges in normal adults.

Objectives:
To evaluate the safety of inactivated enterovirus A71(EV-A71) vaccines after large-scale immunization in the community.
Methods:
We selected EV-A71 susceptible people (healthy children) aged 6-59 months in vaccination clinics from 89 counties in Zhejiang Province between April 2016 and March 2018. All local and systematic adverse actions were collected by 30 min on-site inspection, within 3 days and 4-30 days follow-up. Chi-square test and Fisher′s exact test were used to compare the difference of AEs incidence in various characteristics among two groups.
Results:
A total of 71 663 doses of vaccines were included for active safety analysis, which included 37 331 doses in boys and 34 332 doses in girls. Among all the doses, children aged 6 to 11 months, 12 to 23 months and 24 to 59 months were received 13 707, 32 639 and 25 317 doses respectively. The incidence of adverse reactions within 30 min, 3 days and 4-30 days were 0.33% (239 doses), 1.58% (1 133 doses) and 0.34% (244 doses) respectively. Adverse reactions within 3 days were 1 372 doses, with a incidence of 1.91%; among all the cases, 539 doses (0.75%) were grade 1, 677 doses (0.94%) were grade 2 and 156 doses (0.22%) were grade 3, no grade-4 adverse reaction was reported. The common local adverse reactions were redness, swelling and pruritus, with the incidence rates were 0.05% (39 doses), 0.02% (16 doses) and 0.02% (12 doses), respectively, while the most common systemic adverse reaction was pyrexia with an incidence of 1.19% (856 doses), followed by diarrhea and anorexia with the incidence rates were 0.15% (104 doses) and 0.13% (90 doses) respectively.
Conclusion
Most adverse actions of EV-A71 vaccines were mild and moderate and majority of them were common adverse actions. No new adverse reactions were found in the study.
